Christmas in London
Here are some pictures from my recent family trip to London. We arrived Christmas Day and flew home on New Years Day. Being a tourist in London at Christmas is a very different experience than visiting in the summer. Some of my favorite Christmas things were: walking everywhere- including down the middle of Oxford Street if I wanted, free entry to most museums, no snow (compared to Canada) and fewer tourists. Of course there are favorites that aren't season-dependent: Portobello Road Market, Hamley's (the Bear Factory in particular), the British Museum, the National Gallery, climbing the stairs in St. Paul's for fantastic views, Covent Gardens, and the list goes on and on...
