My Faith

I have recently returned "Home" to the Catholic Church. I have no good reasons as to why I ever left. What matters now is that I am back and I've brought my sons with me!

It just amazes me the sacrifice Jesus made for me! It's just so AWESOME that I am loved so much!

I've had to admit, that while I was away, I'm not sure I made a good United Methodist. So, now, it is my goal to be the best Catholic I can be.

Like alot of people of my generation, looking back I don't see my Catholic upbringing being very Catholic. I am looking forward to learning all I can right along with my boys as I homeschool them.

I am trying very hard to make praying the Rosary a daily commitment. It is such a wonderful prayer.

I take great comfort in knowing that Mary, Joseph, all of the angels, and all of the people who loved me here on earth are praying for me!

Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. Hebrews 11:1

But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves to God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life. For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:22-23

"The most important one," answered Jesus, "is this: 'Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.'" Mark 12:29-30

For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, 1 Timothy 2:5

Jesus answered, "I am way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. John 14:6

so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, Ephesians 3:17-18

It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. Galatians 5:1
