Tsukino Usagi had always been a clumsy crybaby, always tripping and falling, as well as being terribly late. However, it may have been her very tendency toward tardiness that changed the fate of the world one day. While she was on her way to school, late as usual, she met a mysterious cat named Luna. That's where it all started.
It was later that same day that Usagi became Sailor Moon, the pretty soldier of love and justice, destined to fight evil and find the moon princess, Princess Serenity. Needless to say, it came as a surprise to everyone, especially Usagi herself, that the crybaby Tsukino Usagi, the fighter for love and justice, Sailor Moon, and the regal moon princess, Princess Serenity, were all the same person.
As Sailor Moon, she is the leader of the Sailor Senshi, and also the most powerful when pushed into a corner. As the heir to the Moon Kingdom, Sailor Moon is the only Senshi able to use the Mystical Silver Crystal, a source of almost infinite power.
In the future, Usagi is also the ruler of the world, Neo Queen Serenity. As such, she carries an ususually large amount of responsibility for one so young and seemingly immature. However, when the situation demands it, she will always fight for what is right as the pretty soldier of love and justice, Sailor Moon.
