Attached, you will find the complete instructions for your position as a ________________________
for the ___________________________Rally on ______, 200__.
You are working on stages ____________, named _________________________,
and your stage captain is __________________________. Stage Frequency for Monitoring is ___________.
Your starting times for your stages are ______________, and you need to be on the stage and in position one full hour before the scheduled start of your first car. Thus you will need to meet your stage captain at ____________________ at __________am /pm, and they will lead you to your designated position area.
If your start times for the first car (on stages that are running once in both directions) are several hours apart, you may leave your position after the sweep vehicle has passed your location. But you MUST remember to return and be in the proper position one hour prior to the start of the first car running the second time through in the opposite direction.
As in all rallies, there are certain specific items that you should bring with you to the event. You should bring a warm jacket, as the temperature can drop drastically. If rain is forecast, you should bring rain gear. You should bring a flashlight with extra batteries, two pens, a clipboard, and something to do between stages. You should also bring food and drinks, as it may be several hours between stages. It is a good idea to bring toilet paper. Chairs are an option that you might also consider.
Once you are on the stage and in position, if you have any questions, ask your stage captain. If the stage captain has already left, feel free to stop the advance vehicle that will run through your stage approximately one hour prior to the start of your first car. ______________ is the advance vehicle operator, and he can answer any questions you may have, or he can get the answer via radio communication.
Have a GREAT time, enjoy the event, and remember to come to the awards dinner _______ evening, __:___pm at _________________________________________________. Thanks for all your support in making rallying a reality in Washington..
