You fall......
and everything goes black...... the next thing you know a pretty elven maiden with blue-green hair, blue-green eyes is standing over you. She wears a green tunic with brown leggings and a white shirt underneath, she also is wearing deer skin boots.
  " Where am I you ask?" groaning as the girl helps you to your feet. "And who are you?"
  " I'm Alana Starwind. Your in the Starwind meadows, my family's home for dragons. You were standing on that cliff up there," you look up to the rather high cliff she points to. " Then you lost your footing, or something, and fell. I rushed here as quick as I could. You've been out for about a half hour, judging by the sun."
  " The sun, don't you people have clocks?" you ask Alana.
  " Clocks?" Alana says, not hiding her obvious confusion. " What are clocks? Maybe your brains were addled by your fall. Do you feel all right? Maybe you should see the doctor."
  You realize it may be a good idea not to talk about things like "clocks", "TV's", or "computers", seeing that Alana's just going to think you're crazy.
  " What's in the egg?" you ask pointing to the large white egg.
  " That's my Gemmite, well it will be when it hatches," Alana answers.
  "Uh......how do I get to the nearest town?" you ask.
  " Follow the river a half a mile, then take the left fork in the path, travel strait until you reach the fourth fork after that,
then turn right and you'll head into town. Just don't aggrivate any of our dragons you may encounter. They're very grouchy during egg laying season, and they wouldn't heasitate to snack on ANY little annoyances."
You shakily thank her and decide to follow her directions to the letter.
