We have had a very busy year this year. Over the summer we were blessed to take two different trips. Our first trip was to go and see Miss Rysa and Mr. Todd. They live in West Virginia. We made the trip in one day. And although it was raining, it was just beautiful.
We got to do so many fun and exciting things while we were up there. We picked wild blackberries, saw the three baby opossums that they helped after their mother had died. Mr. Todd is and architect, and we were able to see their new house that he designed and that they are in the process of building. It's amazing. If you get a chance, stop over at their web site and take a peek.
We enjoyed spending the day with the Hulsey clan, playing games, having
a scavenger hunt, eating (and apparently too muck. Lilah was sick most of the next day). Mitchell went with Mr. Todd and his father, Mr. Calvin to a genuine swimming whole. We went to church on Sunday, and spent the rest of the time driving around, looking at the area, see where Miss Rysa works, etc. It was wonderful to be able to spend some time with Miss Rysa and her family.

Our next trip, just a few weeks later, was up to New Jersey. We stayed with Aunt Barbara and Uncle George (Chris, Time, and LC, too). We had so much fun with them. Aunt Barbara came to Six Flags Great Adventure with us. We drove through the Animal Safari. There were so many different kinds of animals, and most of them can come right up to your car. We saw bears, lions, camels, giraffes, buffalo, and baboons.
After the safari we went into the amusement part. Swings, boats, planes,
bumper cars, and trains were just a few of the rides we went on in Bugs
Bunny land. Mommy and Aunt Barbara went on the Ferris Wheel with us.But our favorite ride was the one where we got all wet. Even if you didn't go on the ride you could still get soaked!

We saw Nana and Mr. Howard. Nana isn't feeling very well, so we only got to spend a little bit of time with her at the house. Mr. Howard took us out to lunch at Friendly's one day, and we even got to see Mrs. Richter, one of Nana's friends.
All in all we had a wonderful time.

And then.....We started school. The children go to Bethany Elementary School. Mitchell is in Mrs. Adams 1st grade class, and Lilah is in Mrs. Grist's Pre-K class. Be sure to visit their special pages to learn more about what is new in their lives.
Amelia stays at home with Mommy. They are having some very special one on one time together. When Mommy isn't spending time with the children she is taking continueing education courses towards a higher level of certificate in Geriatric Massage and hopes to have a practice up by the beginning of the year.

Of all our pages, this is the one to come back and visit more often. We will continuely update this page, add pictures, send information, etc. We are adding new pages to our site. Each of the children will continue to have one, Mommy is actually going to have her own page too. We're hoping to get a bird page up and going as well.
