Story
Marcus was raised among a band of gypsies travelling
the Southern Continent. It's a hazardous profession even if they have
treaties with just about every dragontype that guarantees them safe
passage. More than a few of them lose their life because of the dragons
and others perish because of the dangers of the land.
Even so they are a close-knit band and only few children ever leave it to
seek their fate elsewhere. Marcus was one of those children, but he did
not go voluntary. He was taken on a raid and brought half way across the
country before he could finally escape. He sought shelter in Devil's Core
Island and it was there that he bonded his wolf dragon Huil. Maybe the
dragon understood that their spirits were the same, wanting the security
and comfort of a larger group they could trust.
It has been said that Marcus was abused by the men who took him, tounted,
tormented and toyed with. They say his leather fetish comes from that
time. They say many more things but Marcus does not talk about that period
of half a year.
But whatever was said, Marcus and Huil proved to be a very successful
couple, knowing what the other thought without even having to read each
other's mind. That talent aided them in many fights, including the one
against the previous lord of the Barren Cliffs. Marcus has held his
position for five years now and does not intend to lose it soon.
