Car Crash, Kaimanawa Street, 31 December 2000

This crash (opposite Kaimanawa Park) occurred about 4:30 pm on New Year's Eve. It was the second crash to occur onto this property, with the previous one being about five years earlier. The next crash in the vicinity was fated to occur on 15 April 2001 (Easter Sunday evening), when the car hit the adjoining property. Two of the car's occupants were taken to hospital.
