Looking down Kelvin Grove Road from near the Roberts Line intersection, towards the (then) Kelvin Grove Hall and Palmerston North. The photo was taken in late 1937 or early 1938, by Vera Burr (later McLennan-Boman), who was then the Kelvin Grove postmistress.
