After Reading all the poop in the TWINJET on Ezone, I ahd to add one to my collection...one problem...everyone was OUT!
After a long awaited backorder I got a call from Dave at EAM and he had gotten a few. So off I went to pick it up.
Thanks to the Zone I new what to look for when I opened the box, and low and behold there was a Left AND a right Vertical Stabilzer...whew!
"Was all I heard True?" It is made of a foam that takes Ca glue, can be spray painted, and it was a snap to build...but IT"S Blue! So to net with thee. I narrowed it down to and F-14 look alike or a NASA test plane.
Here's what I came up with...The NASA F-18 Systems Research F-18 from Dryden Research Facility.
One suggestion...paint yours a dark color, White takes too many coats and adds weight. I also found that Rustoleum Gray Primer WILL bubble the foam and not cure properly. I had filled and sanded my plane for it to be smooth only to have it bubble up and leave me back where I started. There are no Holes in the foam though which will help.
The Plane builds in a snap and I found no required Mods. Nothing needs reinforcement so far, but we will see after the first few flights.
There are TONS of building tips on Ezone.
Mine is built with the Stock motors, broken in, and running CP1300's, HiTec 555 rec, HS81, and the Multiplex ESC. I went with it because it has the correct connector already attached. Just add a deans for the Batt and you are done.
So what do you think of the Scheme?
The graphics were printed on a HP photosmart 1100 onto transparancy and then Spray glued on. This foam and paint will not take Self adhesive decals at all.
Details count, even on a foamie. ->
The Safety decals were stolen off  Photos of F-14 and NASA T-38 pictures using photo editing software.

On the first Toss, she FLEW!!!. The condiditions were more windy than I would have liked, but it flew anyway.
This is one HOT plane. I climbs like a scalded Ape, tracks like an out of control  rollercoaster and rolls like...some fast rollin' thingie.

You guys with brushless motors and 5x5 props must have much better reflexes than I. It is plenty fast now.
More pictures will follow so Check back soon!
