This is Samantha. :) We took these pictures just after we'd brought them home from Petsmart (we adopted both of them through a rescue group set up there). So if Samantha seems a little unsure, that would be why. She's two years old, is a Chihuahua/terrier mix, and a sensitive girl. She's absolutely in love with me; tends to give me the most soulful looks. She looks like an old soul in a young little body. :)
And this is Kia, our Dachshund. :) She's 10 years old but sure doesn't act like it; she's a spunky girl and has tons of character to her. She's stubborn as a mule and tends to give us a run for our money - which I'm sure is some kind of payback for the stubborn streak in our family, lol. ;) But she is absolutely adorable, loves to bury herself under the covers and be a lump underneath...and just loves some attention. :)

*grins* They love being under their baby blankets and love cuddling on the couch. They used to run and jump on us with no warning, although now we've gotten them to the point where they tend to ask for permission for the most part. Either way, they're entirely lap dogs.
And lastly, Kia doing her famous begging trick. LOL, she literally sits on her butt and her back holds her up straight like that. It's so cute and irresistible. The begging approach works every time. lol ;)
So those are our new doggies. We got them a few months ago and I said I would put pictures up, but I just kept being slow about it...just like the Joslyn pictures...but I wanted to make sure and let you guys see them. They could never replace Penny (or Rocky) but they are a part of the family all the same. :)
