Waratime bomb killed eight in Ambon
JAKARTA (JP): Eight people were killed when a World War II bomb exploded in
Maluku capital of Ambon on Wednesday afternoon, El Shinta radio reported.
Maluku Police spokesman Sr.Comr. Max Alfons said that the victims died at a beach
in Hila village when the bombs they were preparing to take them to the neighbouring
Seramisland exploded.
He confirmed that the bomb was the remain of World war II, saying that police are still
looking for parts of the victim' bodies, including a head of one victims.
