California, Portland, Seattle, Vancouver 2004
I took a road trip to California at the end of the summer. I left College Station on 7 August to move my stuff to Sherman. 30 minutes after moving my stuff into my apartment, I hit the road at 2pm for Livermore, CA. I arrived at 830pm the next day. My friend and I then went on a road trip the next week to the Northwest. The next week was spent in San Luis Obispo. I returned to school afterwards. Sorry, not many people pictures, I'm bad at that.
Looking at my dad's car with all my stuff in it south of Hearne (see, there are trees from where I come.)
A look at the Panhandle of Texas. Ugly, isn't it?
Driving through Arizona on Day 2. I'm still at least 8 hours away from my destination. I hate the southwest, so fucking ugly.
My car at a rest stop in Weed, California. I think the mountain is Mount Shasta.
Just to prove that we visited Weed. (if you know me very well, this place was very sentimental to michael and I.)
Looking at Portland, Oregon.
Near the state capital in Olympia, Washington. Reminds me of what's in front of Buckingham Palace.
Sleater-Kinney fans: marvel at the exit to the street that got them their name.
Washington State Capital in Olympia.
Michael at the campsite north of Tacoma.
Me, looking stupid at the campsite.
My car at the campsite. I just couldn't believe that my car was this far away from its home.
Looking over Boeing Field at downtown Seattle.
Vancouver, North.
Looking west over Vancouver.
This street in Vancouver is where all the weed is. Very weird to smoke a joint in public, but everyone was really chill.
Looking East over Vancouver.
North Vancouver, again.
Looking out of our hotel room in Richmond, British Columbia.
Air Canada 767-300 landing at YVR.
My car is in two countries!
The last day I was in California. This place is on the central coast on a very scenic drive. Listened to Hole's Malibu whilst driving, such a perfect California driving song.
