Brian and Howie walked back in the studio to see Kevin, AJ, and Nick standing around. “You alright?” asked Kevin. “Yeah, think so.” AJ walked up to Howie.  “I’m sorry bro.” “No, I am.  I didn’t mean it.”  He hugged AJ. “Look, nothing happened.  I was kidding.” “Nothing happened?” “Nope.” “But I saw you kiss her.” “You did?”  Howie nodded.  “So you didn’t see the rest?”  Howie shook his head.  “She didn’t kiss back.  She’s an amazing girl, but her heart was in it.  She was somewhere else.”  Howie smiled. “Well guys, Howie has an announcement to make.” Brian smiled. “Spill it, D,” Kevin looked on eagerly. “I’m in love,” Howie breathed. “Well, it’s about damn time,” Kevin sat back and smiled. “You know?” “Come on, we could see it all over your face,” said Nick. “Congrats man, I’m really happy for ya,” AJ put his hand on Howie’s shoulder. “Oh boy,” Howie fell back into his seat.  “I’m feeling sick again.” “Why?”  AJ kneeled down to his level. “Cause what if she doesn’t feel the same way?” “Of course she will.” “I don’t want to ruin a good thing.  It took her a lot to even speak to me again.  What makes you think that she loves me back?” “You’re gonna have to tell her and find out,” said Kevin. “And fuck up everything I have been through if she says no.  I can’t take that rejection.  I just can’t.” “Then you have to make a decision.” Brian crossed his arms.  “Either you tell her how you feel and risk it.  Or, you keep it inside and you can still be friends, but,” Brian knelt next to him.  “You could be missing out on the love of your life.” Howie sighed.  “I will… tonight.  I’ll tell her the truth.” “You go boy!” Nick punched his arm.  “Well, all that aside,” Kevin stood up.  “We have a song to record.” Chapter 14 Contents Chapter 12
