Under obligation by the Declaration of a New Republic, Senator Khory Scythe--who was acting as Secretary of Defense at the time--was forced to take on the responsibility of finding Senator Kkak while assuming his duties as Secretary General and Chancellor. After a week of finding nothing about the whereabouts of Senator Kkak, an emergency meeting was held and secretaries voted in. The new Chancellor selected was Senator Jerrick Suus, the representative of the Torranix sector. The new Secretary General selected was Mon Mothma, especially coming out of retirement to assist the newly reformed Republic."
