Carla's Thoughts on Gentle Mothering

What does gentle mothering mean to you?

GentleMothering means to me that we need to be more patient with our children and husbands. We need to show more kindness and gentleness to our children and our husbands, and we need to show true genuine love for our children and our Husbands! First of all we need to Serve God in the way he wants to be served (Basically we need to give all of us to God and he will help us to become The Gentle Mother and Wife's to our Families).

Why do you feel that gentle mothering is so important?

I feel that Gentle Mothering is so important because I want to be able to make a Godly Christian Example for my daughter to look up to and maybe pattern her Christian Walk after!

Why do you feel that God wants you to parent this way?

I feel God Wants our Family to Parent this way because God has called us to be more kind,gentle.loving,& understanding of our child/or children and Because It is a better approach to parenting than say really harsh harmful words that can really hurt the child not only emotionally but spiritually and physically as well.

Carla's Testimony

I came to know Christ when I was 3 years old! I received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit (Holy Ghost) when I was 16 years of age. I got married in July of 99 and I became pregnant in Aug. of 99! I became really sick and I was in the hospital for most of my pregnancy so I really had no one to talk to or who could come and visit me so I became even closer to God because he never ever left my side! God brought me through the pregnancy and now we have a darling 8 month old Daughter to show for all the hardships I suffered during the pregnancy! I thank God every day that Our Daughter is here and she is healthy! I thank God every day for the breath I take because we are never promised tomorrow and we only have today to live and make a difference in someone else's life!
