< return to Members index pageCindy Converse![]() ![]() Cindy's Thoughts on Gentle Mothering![]() I think that through gentle mothering, a child learns trust. Through us, they learn what God is like. If they cannot trust us, why should they trust God? When we came to Christ, did we come because of His justice or His discipline? I think that most of us came because of His love, and our trust in Him. Because we learn this love and trust first in our relationship with our Heavenly Father, it makes sense that our children should learn this love and trust first in our relationship with them.
Cindy's TestimonyI was raised in a "Christian" home. I knew the ways of the Lord before I could even comprehend them all. : ) I remember praying that God would save me when I was 6 years old, and I believe that's when I was saved. However, I dedicated my life to Him, and started living for Him, having a change in my thinking toward dedication to Him when I was about 13 or so. I have since tried to live for Him. : )
