Stephanie's Thoughts on Gentle Mothering

[small logo]Gentle mothering means we need to meet the needs of our children. Respond to their cries. I feel it's important because it lets children know we care and love them. God wants us to parent our children this way to let them know we're here for them whenever they need us and to show them we love and care for them.

I have 4 children 8 years, 2 years, 1 year, and a 9 week old. I feel we need to pick our children up when they cry to meet their needs to show them we are here when ever they need us to show them we care and love them. I feel God gave us the ability to cry so we could show our feelings and let someone know there is something wrong. I feel there is nothing wrong with picking our children up and showing them we love them they don't need to cry for us to pick them up I love to just sit and hold my children.

Stephanie 's Testimony

My testimony is very simple we moved 800 and some miles from my family and I was very scared my sister-n-law would tell me we had to go to church to eat sunday dinner so I always went. Well the lord spoke to my heart one day about 8 months ago and said Stephanie you should come to sunday night service tonight which I never attended. So I went and our paster made the alter call and the lord picked me off the pew and walked down that isle and was with me from then and is still with me now. Which everyday I pray for my sister-n-law who barely ever goes to church now. And I no now I have nothing to be scared of even when I have no family close to me they may be miles away but the lord is with me every step I make and thank him everyday for what he has done for me and my family.
