For those who liked the show in the 80's but don't remember it quite well, here's a little info:

Premise:

Houston Knights is a show about two police officers: Levon Lundy and Joe LaFiamma. 

Levon is a hot tempered Texan, his wife was killed, he has a horse, a hat and hates to work with partners. He was a College football star and now he's a great police officer. He was raised by his grandmother and loves Texas.


Levon Lundy is played by Michael Beck

Joe laFiamma is a Transfered Police officer from Chicago.
A large part of his family is sicilian and mobsters. He's a good cop who's good intentions made him a Mafia target. His uncle makes a deal with the people who want him dead: as long as he remains in Houston, he's safe.

Joe LaFiamma is portrayed by Michael Paré

Joe hates the city but has no choice and reluctantly becomes Lundy's partner.

At first, Levon and Joey hate each other, then they become good partners
and finally great friends.

They still act like they hate each other, but, well...
That's what makes their relationship so wonderful!
