LITTLE FAIRY

Merry Christmas to All

'Tis the season to be jolly
And to hang up all the holly
Spreading all the X-mas cheer
But I wish that you were here.

Standing under the mistletoe
Knowing Santa will never show
I'll have more eggnog spiked with rum
But no Jack Frost will nip my bum.

The children's stockings hung on the wall
When I fill them they will fall
Breaking all the toys to bits
Sending the children into fits.

Inch by inch and pound by pound
Until not a cookie can be found.
Where did all the cookies go?
I hope I get some Pepto Bismal.

No more shopping days are left
I hope that all will like their gift.
Chosen carefully with each in mind.
How did I ever get so behind?

Wrap the gifts and tape, tape, tape
I do this all with no complaint
But my hand's stuck inside this ball
That is a wrapped up Barbie doll.

All that's left is decorating the tree.
Along I fling the tinsel with glee.
Dancing and prancing with delight.
Merry Christmas to all and to all a
GOOD NIGHT!
