LITTLE FAIRY

The Poetry of Me

by Kimber Giedd

Listen for the wind in the trees
I'll be there, swaying in the breeze
A mighty oak majestic in fall
I am the snow, covering all.

I am a rose, calm and sweet
The trill of a flute, pure and fleet.
A silent grove, hidden by the wood,
Where Lady Amalthea once had stood.

A cedar chest, locked, with hope inside
A butterfly free on breezes to glide
See me in a cat all stretched in the sun
A milkshake fresh made on a date full of fun.

Winnie the Pooh sitting in his thoughtful spot
Failing once again on filling his honey pot.
A circle that has not start or end
The color blue from missing a friend
