Cheated

Chapter One

“Ellie please” Chris begged as Ellie made her way down the flat stairs.
“Chris no!” she shouted back.
“Please just listen to me”
Ellie turned around, her eyesight blurry from the tears. She was now at the bottom of the stairs.
Half hour ago, Ellie had discovered her boyfriend Chris, kissing another girl. Ellie and Chris had been together for at least a year and Ellie couldn't believe he had done such a thing.
“I..” Chris begun searching for the right words.
“ Look Chris you don't even know what to say. I loved you and you cheated on me” Ellie explained and turned away. Chris watched as she run out of the door and down the road crying her eyes out. As she turned the corner she tripped and fell onto the pavement, whacking her head on it sending blood pouring down her face.
Ellie opened her eyes wondering where she was. She was no longer on the pavement where she had fell, but was in a small room laying on a single bed. She looked around her. The room, she noticed, looked like a boys. It had a CD player and a pile of CD’s in the corner. There was a guitar too. Ellie sat up still confused about where she was and how she got there. She jumped of the bed and cautiously walked towards the door. She was just about to open it, when its was pushed open by someone on the outside. Ellie jumped back just in time to avoid hitting her head again. The guy that came in was tall and slim with blonde spiky hair that looked highlighted. His eyes were Hazel and his skin was lightly tanned. He was really cute, and as he saw Ellie and smiled he looked even cuter, showing a small gap between his two front teeth. He was carrying a glass of coke and a sandwich.
“Hi, I see you awake” he said in a deep sexy voice. Ellie still said nothing. “Erm, i think i better explain. Im Charlie and i happened to see you on the pavement bleeding on my way to the shops. I didn't know where you lived or anything so i took you back here to my house that i share with my mates Matt and James” Charlie told her putting the drink and sandwich on the side. “And I didn't want to go through your bag” he told her referring to the bag on the floor.

“Oh erm thanks” she replied nervously.

“So who are you?”

“Im Ellie”

“What were you doing crying on the pavement”

“Oh er you know....” she trailed off tears coming to her eyes.

“Well um ill be downstairs, you can take a shower and get cleaned up, the bathroom is next door”

“Thanks”

“Anytime”

Chapter 2

Charlie sat in the front room watching tv, waiting for Ellie to come down. Matt and James were also sat in the front room when Ellie came in. Charlie looked up. She looked nicer now. Her hair was neatly brushed after being washed and you couldn't even see the cut on her head. Her cloths still had a bit of blood on though.

“Hi” Charlie said to her smiling at her.

“Er Hi” she replied. She sat down next to Charlie.

“Well were going out now bye” Matt said and dragged James out the front door slamming it behind them.

“So you er wanna tell me now?”

Ellie nodded.

“Well when I was at high school - last year - I met Chris. We went out for about a year when we decided to move to London. It was pretty stupid, I was only seventeen which I am now so it was nearer my birthday. Then I thought I really loved him, well i did. And today I came home and found him kissing some other girl. I didn't know what to do, who she was or how long this had been going on for. But now i have no money, no food, no drink and erm no clean cloths” She explained pulling at the top she was wearing.

“Well you can stay here for a while until you get your act together and that”

“Really?” she asked being so grateful for Charlie’s caring.

“Yeah sure”

“Wow thanks” she said hugging him. “Erm sorry” she replied.

“So what are you into?”

“Erm, skateboarding”

“Me too”

Ellie and Charlie stayed up late talking as if they'd known each other for years, even if they had only just met.

Chapter 3

Ellie yawned.

“Um you can sleep in my room if ya want” Charlie told her standing up. “Ill sleep on the sofa”

“No its ok ill sleep on the sofa, plus what am i going to where?”

“Hang on follow me”

She followed him upstairs and into his room where he threw her one of his old t-shirts.

“Here where this, and ill sleep on the sofa, Night” he quickly said then disappeared downstairs.

Ellie looked at the t-shirt in her hands and said nothing, before getting up and trailing to the bathroom. She entered the room and sat on the floor. She suddenly burst into tears. She still wasn't over Chris. Why did he do that to her? She thought he loved her. She wish all this would just go away.

“Ellie darlin you ok?” Charlie said coming in and placing a hand on her shoulder. Ellie didn't even bother to look up. Charlie slid down and sat next to her. “Ellie listen to me” he told her. She looked up. “He aint worth ya tears hon. He aint worth anything, what he did was wrong and no matter how much it hurts you cant go back to him. Do you know why?”

Ellie shook her head.

“Coz then he’ll know that after kissing someone else, you love him too much and you’ll go back to him. He’ll just keep hurting you over and over again knowing that you’ll always come back”

“Thanks Charlie”

Chapter 4

Ellie awoke to quite knocking on the bedroom door.
“Ellie, are you awake?” Charlie asked through the door. Ellie realised it was morning.
“Yeah, come right in” she replied sitting up in bed. Charlie slowly opened the door and came in closing it behind him. He sat on the end of her bed.
“Are you ok?” he asked looking at her.
“Yep im fine thanx”
“Good, so do you want some breakfast?”
“Um yes please”
“A sausage sandwich?”
“Yeah ok”
“Um, Ellie, as your living her for a while now i was thinking wouldn't you need your cloths and belongings?”
“Oh, er yeah they’re still at Chris’s”
“Well shall we go and get them today?”
“I don't know if I can face seeing Chris again” she trailed off twiddling her fingers.
“I’ll come and if he gives you any trouble Ill be there...”
“Thanks”
“Ok so ill leave you to get ready, meet you downstairs for breakfast soon”
“Ok”
Charlie got up and left, closing the door behind him. Ellie sat. What was she gonna say to Chris? After she had run off she didn't even know what to do or say. Should she say sorry? Would he say sorry? Would anyone even say sorry? What if that girl was they're again? Ellie shook her head.
She would go round, Chris would be there crying. He would tell her it was a mistake, maybe he was drunk or something. He would kiss Ellie on the lips, she would forgive him and they would live happily.
Ellie stood up. Corse it would be like that, as if nothing had ever happened. She grinned as she slipped on her cloths and made her way out into the hallway where she bumped into Matt.
“Hey Matt” she called skipping past him.
“Alright Ellie?” he asked looking at her strangely.
“Never been better” She replied bounding down the stairs and into the kitchen.
“There ya go” Charlie said passing her the sandwich on the plate.
“Cheers Charlie” she replied scoffing it down quickly as she though of seeing Chris again.
“Ready?” she asked as soon as she had finished.
“Erm yeah” Charlie replied.
They went out and got into his car where they drove to the flats. They walked up to Chris’s flat and Ellie bravely knocked on the door.

Chapter 5

“Ellie” Chris said opening the door. He didn't looked sad nor how Ellie expected but that didn't matter. “Erm what are you doing here?”
“Oh er I came to get my stuff” she replied staring up into his blue eyes.
“O, ok come in then” he said looking at Charlie.
“Ill wait here” Charlie said sitting down on the steps. Ellie must remember to thank him for this - waiting outside while Chris said sorry.
Ellie followed Chris inside where she sat on the sofa. Chris stood at the end saying nothing. Why wasn't he saying sorry?
“Um Chris im sorry about what happened” Ellie said standing up and walking up to him.
“Really?” he asked surprised that she had forgiven him.
“Yeah”
“Me too” he replied pulling her closer and kissing her gently on the lips, her hand moving through his hair. She pulled away.
“Let me just tell Charlie” she said and running outside. Charlie looked up.
“Charlie, im moving back in with Chris” she said happily.
“Oh er um ok” he replied looking hurt.
“Are you ok?” she asked.
“Yep im fine listen call me if you ever need anything” he told her handing her a piece of paper with his number on. “Even though my number is in your mobile too” he grinned at her and stood up.

“Well Thanks for everything Charlie” she told him hugging him sending his heart beating quicker. She went inside and closed the door.

Charlie watched as the door closed. He was really upset. She didn't even think about his advice, but what hurt the most, was he just let the girl of his dreams go.

Chapter 6


“What's that?” asked Chris suspiciously seeing Ellie clasping the paper.
“Oh nothing just Charlie's number” she replied walking up to Chris and kissing him.
Charlie slumped home and sat on the sofa looking miserable.
“What's up?” asked Matt seeing Charlie's face. “And where is Ellie?” he asked.
“With Chris”
“Damn” Matt said not really knowing what to say. He was never really good at giving advice. Charlie said nothing. He didn't feel like doing anything. He didn't even know how he really felt about Ellie but he was sure he wanted to be more then friends.

Chapter 7

“Chris?” Ellie asked. They were on the sofa and she had her arms wrapped round him.
“Yeah?” he sighed.
“I love You” she said looking up at him.
“Mmm”
Ellie was pretty surprised that he didn't say he loved her back.
“Do you love me?” she asked.
“Huh o Shh Ellie im trying to watch this” Chris said annoyingly.
Ellie sighed and said nothing. He was probably just tired.
“Charlie, listen” James said as he and Matt sat in Charlie’s room, with Charlie sat on the floor looking miserable.
“Mmm” Charlie replied.
“Look just tell Ellie how you feel” Matt told him.
“Mmm”
“Charlie!” James said poking him in the arm.
“What?” Charlie replied.
“Tell Ellie!”
“Cant. She likes Chris”
“Oh whatever” James said as he and Matt walked outta the room.
“Chris!” Ellie shouted annoyed that he was ignoring her.
“What???” Chris replied looking angry. Ellie looked at him. “Tell me! Do ya want me to hurt ya???”
Ellie stood up and walked to the door. Chris grabbed her arm and yanked her back leaving a red mark on her arm. Ellie looked at him tears in her eyes.
“You Cow. Don't start crying near me its not gonna work!” he shouted at her. A tear rolled down her cheek. She had never seen Chris like this before. Sure he got mad in the past but he had never done this. Chris pushed her against the wall and held her arms against is so she couldn't move.
“Chris” she said. He punched her across the face sending blood pouring from her nose. He then opened the front door and threw her outside, and closed the front door after he had gone inside. Ellie sat sobbing on the cold hard floor.

Chapter 8

Sobbing silently Ellie took out her phone, and, hands shaking, just about managed to dial Charlie’s number.
“Hello” Charlie said.
“C...Charlie” Ellie said her sobs breaking out.
“Ellie, what's wrong what happened??” Charlie said franticly hearing the muffled sobs.
“Its..Chris..He...”
“What? Where are you?”
“At Chris’s” Ellie cried.
“ Wait there im coming” Charlie said putting the phone down and jumping up and running to his bedroom door, yanking it open. Matt and James looked up as Charlie run through the front room and out the front door leaving it wide open.
Ellie still sat hugging her knees and muffling her sobs into them.
“Ellie?” Charlie said walking up to her. She looked up and Charlie gasped. She had a black eye, bruised black and blue and her nose was bleeding quite badly. “What the fuck did he do?” Charlie said. Ellie shook her head. “Wait here”
Charlie knocked on the door and Chris answered.
“What the hell do you think you up too?” Charlie shouted pushing him inside and pinning him against the wall. “Why the hell have you done that to Ellie?” Charlie said again.
“I...I” Chris’s voice sounded from himself.
Charlie dropped Chris and walked into what he presumed to be Ellie’s room. Her stuff wasn't all unpacked. Charlie took the bag and threw all of Ellie’s belongings in angrily and walked out of her room.
“Stay away from Ellie” Charlie snarled before closing the flat door and squatting down next to Ellie.
“C’mon lets go home” he told her helped her up. She limped over to the stairs and Charlie helped her walk downstairs and into his car, then eventually they were home.

Chapter 9

“You ok now?” Charlie asked.
Ellie and Charlie were at the guys house, Matt and James were pretty surprised when Charlie and Ellie returned, Ellie being in the state that she was. Charlie had sat her on the Kitchen side and had then cleaned her up.
Ellie nodded saying nothing. Charlie hugged her.
“Its ok don't worry” he said soothingly seeing her face. He then pulled away. “Matt and James cleaned out the spare room, I forced them too as it was all there junk..wanna stay in there for a while?”
“Yeah ok” she replied.
Charlie picked up her bag that was at his feet and lifted Ellie of the side then put her down. He took her stuff upstairs, Ellie following. He dropped the bag on the bed and turned round to face Ellie.
“Will this be ok?” he asked.
“Um yeah” she replied sitting on the bed. Matt came in with a film in his hand.
“Right me and James are going out to this new club in town tonight, so its just you and Charlie all alone, me and James will probably meet some girls and stay at theirs so you’ll have the WHOLE house to yourselves” Matt quickly explained exaggerating on the word whole. “And I got a film for you's to watch, Romeo and Juliet, the modern version” he then run out leaving the DVD on the side. Ellie looked at Charlie who shrugged.

Chapter 10

Charlie sat in the front room on the sofa waiting for Ellie to come down. It was now the evening and Matt and James had left - after Charlie had attacked Matt with rolled up paper for him trying to set Charlie and Ellie up.
Charlie looked up as Ellie entered the room. She was now wearing her jamies, a pair with shorts and a top with little straps, the top showed of her flat tummy. Charlie tried to keep his cool with Ellie looking so damn hot and innocent, yet looking like she was in the mood for trouble.
“Erm sit down and I'll start the film up” Charlie said managing to keep his cool.
"Ok"
Ellie took a seat next to Charlie on the sofa. They both watched the film. As the film went on, Charlie moved nearer and nearer to Ellie until Ellie was curled up in a ball at the end of the sofa. Finally the film ended and Charlie turned it off. He turned to Ellie.
"Um Ellie" he said.
"Yep" she replied.
"I need to tell you something"
He edged closer and kissed her gently on the lips. She pulled away.
"Charlie!" Ellie screeched.
"What?" he replied coming nearer and nearer kissing her, He pushed her down and fell on top of her.
"What are you doing??? Im sorry i just dont feel this way!"
"O c'mon Ellie you know you want to"
"Charlie I dont want to i dont even feel this way" she exclaimed trying to push him away.
"Ellie just give into your feelings" he replied still smothering her with kisses.
"If i did got through with this it wouldnt mean anything" she said hoping it would push him away.
"So, I dont care Ellie i just want to be with you only if its one night!"
Ellie pushed him off tears in her eyes and run out of the house into the darkness.

Chapter 11

“Ellie, im putting the film on now” Charlie said shaking Ellie’s shoulder thinking she was just resting her eyes.
Ellie opened her eyes. It was all a dream. A strange dream too. She sat up.
“Um ok” she replied.
“Erm what was you dreaming about? You were struggling”
“Oh nothing, im just getting changed into my jamies” she replied. She stood up and walked upstairs. She got changed into her jamies with her little shorts and went back downstairs.
Charlie looked at her looking so sweet and hot.
“Er erm sit down” Charlie said moving over. She smiled and plonked on the sofa where Charlie passed her some popcorn then put on the film.
They sat and watched it. When it finished it wasn't that late.
“Ellie?” Charlie asked but he looked down and saw she was sound asleep. He smiled to himself, got up and got a blanket where he put it round Ellie. He then bent down, quickly kissed her on the cheek then went to bed himself.


Chapter 12

Ellie opened her eyes. She was still on the sofa from the night before but she had a blanket over her, Charlie wasn't there and it was now morning. The popcorn tub was still on the table and sunlight was pouring through the window. She heard the sound of wheels outside so she jumped out and walked over to the window. She looked out. Charlie was skating around and he was doing some tricks too. She smiled as she watched him skate unaware of Ellie watching. He looked really hot skating along. Ellie turned away and walked to the front door. She smiled again as she stepped out into the warm sunlight, just being near Charlie made her happy. Charlie looked up and saw her staring.
“Hey” he said to her and smiled.
“Hi” she replied and walked down the steps towards him and sitting on the wall. He looked up and grinned at her and for the first time ever Ellie blushed around Charlie. He jumped on the skateboard and skated round then back.
“Can you skate?” he asked looking at her.
“Um I own a skateboard but im no good at actually skating” she replied as he skated over and made a stop in front of her.
“Want me to teach you?” he asked staring right into her eyes making eye contact. Ellie looked down.
“Er no thanks” she told him slightly embarrassed.
“You sure?”
“Um yeah”
He shrugged and sat on the wall next to her.
“I never knew the floor was so interesting” he told her seeing her staring into space at the floor.
“Oh er i was just thinking” she laughed.
“Right” he replied and nodded.
“Hey mate age” Matt said to Charlie as he came out of the house. “Aright Darlin?” he said to Ellie. She nodded. Matt sat on the wall on the other side of Charlie. “Right so its stare at the floor hour is it?” he asked. “Cool”
“Oh great not you guys too” James said as he walked past them and into the house shaking his head in dismay.

Chapter 13

“Ohh i got a wicked idea” Ellie said jumping of the wall and turning to face Charlie and Matt.
“Yeah?” Matt asked raising his eyebrows.
“Well...o i cant i mean its your house and that...” she trailed off.
“Tell us” Charlie threatened and jumped off the wall.
“Ok Ok what if...” Ellie begun. “We had a wicked party tonight like here you know?”
“Yeah that would be cool” Matt said a grin appearing on his face.
“Right um shall i got and get things ready?” asked Ellie.
“Hang on who are we gonna invite though?” Charlie said.
“Leave that to me and James, you and Ellie do the food” Matt quickly explained then run into the house shouting for James to ‘ Get your butt here we have a party on our hands!’
Ellie laughed and made her way inside Charlie closely following. She opened the fridge only to find they're was hardly anything in there.
“Um Charlie I think we have to take a trip to the shop” she giggled and ran to get her coat with Charlie following. She shoved it on and run out of the house.
“Ellie wait!” Charlie called catching up with her. “You really like parties don't you?” he asked and grinned before walking in the direction of the shop. Ellie looked at him walking along and followed.
“Ok so we got all our old friends...” James told Matt.
“Right now we need hot girls” Matt perked up.
“Oh yer who does Charlie like then?”
“To be honest he's got the hots for Ellie”
“Ahh I knew you were up to something” James told him picking up the phone to call all the guests.
“food, what food?” asked Charlie as they walked along with the trolley.
“Crisps, Sandwiches, mini sausages, mini sausage rolls, um...” Ellie said ticking off each finger. “Ohh!” she said seeing the mini sausages and mini sausage rolls. She threw them into the trolley. Charlie looked at her strangely then laughed.
Soon they had finished shopping and were back at home unpacking it all.
“Done” Ellie said standing back and beaming at the food covered side. It had loads of snack food and drink and basically everything. Matt and James had invited everyone they knew so Charlie, Ellie, Matt and James each departed to there rooms to get ready.

Chapter 14

“You look Nice” Charlie said as Ellie came downstairs entering the crowded room full of people. She was wearing a nice black skirt with a black top showing her flat tummy. Her outfit matched the scene perfectly.
“Thanks” she replied and smiled at Charlie. She looked around the room. Matt was leaning against the wall talking to a girl with blonde hair, about his height. He seemed really interested in the conversation as was laughing at something the girl had said. James was walking upstairs with some girl holding her hand, Ellie couldn't see her face but she had long brown hair. Ellie saw Charlie talking to some girl with blonde hair and blue eyes. Ellie felt uncomfortable in the room, with all these people she didn't know. She decided to go and get a drink from the kitchen. When she returned she was hoping to maybe talk to Charlie but he was nowhere to be seen. Suddenly Matt walked past holding hands with the girl he was talking to earlier.
“Oh Matt do you know where Charlie is?” Ellie asked hoping that Charlie was in the garden or something, not where she thought he was.
“He went upstairs with some chick” Matt said and disappeared in the crowd
Charlie was slammed against his bedroom door as it closed. The girl was undoing his t-shirt while kissing him passionately. Charlie didn't really wanna go through with it but at least it would take things of his mind with Ellie. Charlie pushed the girl backwards and onto the bed where he fell on top of her with his eyes closed. He really wanted to pull tonight, he didn't know why, maybe just to impress Ellie or make her jealous.
Charlie sat up.
“Listen im sorry, I cant do this tonight ok?” he told the girl. She gave him a dirty look and went downstairs. He then went downstairs himself.
Ellie sighed and stood up. She was really bored. She scanned the room when she saw Charlie staring at her. She blushed as he made his way over.
“You bored?” he asked seeing her glum face,
“very” she replied.
“Hey erm wanna er dance?” he asked.
“Yeah ok”
He took her hand and let her over to the space where most people were dancing just as a slow song came on. Charlie smiled at her although inside he was really happy. He took her arms and hung them round his neck and put his own arms round her waist and they swung in time to the music. Ellie felt Charlie’s heart beating on her chest as they were dancing so close. Charlie moved his hands down onto her bum and she laid her head on his shoulder. The song finished. Ellie looked up into his eyes and realized she loved him. Just as she was about to kiss him the lights went out and it was pitch black. When the lights finally flickered back on, both Ellie and Charlie were nowhere to be seen.


Chapter 15

Charlie felt Ellie depart from his arms as the lights flickered out. He run outside trying to find her.
“Chris don't!” Ellie said as Chris dragged her across the garden towards his car. Somehow, Chris had got to the party, switched the lights off and dragged Ellie outside without anyone noticing.
“You fucking bitch, how dare you dance with him” he snarled and threw her into his car. Ellie froze as she thought of Charlie. Chris started the car up and drove off.
Charlie discovered Ellie wasn't outside and walked back inside, thinking maybe Ellie had gone somewhere for some reason.
Half hour later everyone had left and Charlie, Matt and James were looking for Ellie.
Ellie sat in the corner sobbing in Chris’s flat. Chris looked at her, an evil look on his face as he locked the door and got Ellie up. He pushed her on the sofa while undressing her.
“Chris stop it!!” she screeched wondering how she could stop him.
“Shut up” he said before hitting her round the face and pulling her top off.

Chapter 16

“Where could she be?” asked Charlie.
“I have no idea” Matt replied.
“Her mobile’s still here” Charlie said holding her mobile.

“Chris what the hell are you gonna do to me?” asked Ellie.
“What do you think”
Chris stood her up so she was in her underwear. He punched her in the stomach, she doubled over with pain. As she fell to the floor he kicked her this time in the stomach then he started punching her arms causing bruises everywhere and blood too. He took her head and bashed it onto his knee causing her nose to pour out with blood. He then laid her on the bed and whipped out a camera. He took some photos. Then he took some rope and tied her to the chair, locked the door then left.
Charlie, Matt and James were walking along the street looking for Ellie when Chris suddenly rushed past them. A picture dropped out of his pocket. Charlie picked it up and gasped. On it was a picture of Ellie, all battered and bruised, blood pouring down her face.
“Oi!” shouted Charlie to Chris but Chris had already gone. Charlie run to the block of flats where Chris’s flat was and went inside.
“Ellie!” Charlie shouted banging on the door, Matt and James arrived to where Charlie was. “Ellie are you in there?”
“Charlie!” Ellie sobbed hearing him. Charlie tried to open the door, it was locked. He pushed against it hurting his arm. Charlie, Matt and James pushed against it a few more times until it finally fell down. Charlie rushed in and run into Chris’s room where Ellie was tied to a chair.
“Ellie!” he cried and run over to her where he untied her. She threw her arms around him and cried into his shoulder.
“Shh its ok” he replied rubbing her back and helping her up. “C’mon lets go home”

Chapter 17

Charlie and Ellie sat on the sofa. They had got home a while earlier and were now sitting on the sofa, Ellie still crying a bit. Matt had gone to listen to some music and James had gone out.
“Im so sorry i didn't get you and i didn't find you sooner” Charlie explained to her looking down.
“Charlie its ok and it wasn't your fault” Ellie replied.
“Oh so what did he do?”
“Raped me then beat me up, o and then took photo’s”
Charlie moved closer to her and hugged her. She looked up at him with a look that wanted him so badly. She couldn't believe she didn't notice this before, she was in love with him. Charlie’s heart beat so quickly as did hers as she pulled away from the hug and leaned closer. His eyes studied her facial features while her hands found their way round the back of his neck and his round her waist. She leaned in even closer, he did too, both their breathing getting heavier and heavier. Charlie couldn't stand it anymore he moved as close as possible, so close their cheeks were nearly touching, before he brought his lips down onto hers and begun to kiss her gently tickling her lips with his. Ellie’s heart started to beat even quicker, his kiss was so amazing. She kissed him back before he could pull away. There steady kiss was becoming more and more passionate each second, both of them hungry for more. Charlie quizzed for a second whether he should take it further, and he did before he lost his guts. Ellie felt the soft touch of his tongue on her lips, she opened her mouth a bit and he slowly slipped his tongue inside.
They pulled away for some breath.
“I love you Ellie” Charlie whispered in her ear still holding her close.
“I love you too Charlie” she replied before kissing him again.

Chapter 18

“Oi Matt” James said knocking on Matt’s door.
“What?” Matt replied opening it looking sleepy.
“Guess who’s getting heated on the sofa?”
“Urm the tv and the dishwasher?”
“No Charlie and Ellie”
“Ha, I knew they would get together”
“Mmm”
“Well its really late so night” Matt said and closed his door. James also went to bed.
Ellie laid on the sofa cuddled up to Charlie. He watched her as she slept, while playing with some strands of her hair.

Chapter 19

Ellie opened her eyes. She was still attached to Charlie from the night before. She smiled as she remembered what happened, the way they kissed so passiontly, they way they held each other and the way they told eachother they loved eachother. Ellie sat up and yawned then grabbed her mobile that was on the table. She checked the time. 12:00. Not bad seeing how late she went to bed yesterday. Ellie got up and stretched then crouched down so she was next to Charlie. She kissed him on the lips gently then made her way into the bathroom to get ready.
Charlie opened his eyes and got up. He walked into the bathroom and wrapped his arms around Ellie's waist. She smiled at him in the mirror, then turned round and kissed him again on the lips. She went to turn around but Charlie pulled her back and kissed her passiontly. She giggled.
"So what you up to today?" she asked him.
"Erm you know, stuff" he replied.
"Ha ha what stuff"
"Ohh I dunno, I was thinking of taking you out for a romantic meal...." he told her.
She giggled again and kissed him then made her way upstairs to get changed. Charlie followed.
"Need any help?" he grinned.
"Yer actually" she said pulling him into the room with both hands and grinning and him cheekily.

Chapter 20

"I thought you needed help?" asked Charlie between passionite kisses with Ellie.
"Yer I do" she replied.
"With what then?"
"I dunno, with kisses"
"Ohh thats one thing I'll always help with"
"Good coz your kisses are cool"
Charlie laughed.
"Ahem I didnt say you could stop kissing me though did I?" she said pulling him towards her with his collar.
"You think maybe you could let me go now?" asked Charlie realising he was still wearing the cloths from the party.
"Ok"
He grinned at her then walked out of the room and bumped into Matt.
"Ooo look who it is" Matt grinned at him.
"What?" Charlie replied trying to look as innocent as possible.
"I know about you and Ellie getting heated on the sofa"
"Shut up"
Charlie walked into his room and got ready.

"You ok?" Charlie asked Ellie about an hour later as they sat on the sofa in the front room.
"I'm fine" she replied resting her head on his shoulder.
"Um, do you want to go for a meal tonight then?" he asked her wondering what she might say.
"Sure, I always love a great night out" 

Chapter 21

"You look very gorgeous" Charlie told Ellie as she got to the bottom of the stairs ready for their meal. Ellie giggled and took his hand. They walked outside and into the taxi that was waiting, Ellie anxious to know where they were going. About twenty minutes later the taxi rolled to a stop and they jumped out. Ellie grinned as they walked into a nice cosy looking pub.

"Table for two please" Charlie told the waiter who then showed them to a two seater table with a burning candle on.

"I’ll just get your menus"

Charlie pulled out the chair for Ellie. She thanked him and sat down, then he sat on the chair on the other side of the table. She smiled at him.

"Thanks Charlie" she told him.

"Its ok" Charlie replied.

"Here are your menu’s" the waiter said handing them over then walking off. They both sat in silence for a few minutes looking at the menu and deciding what to have.

"I think im gonna have the cheeseburger and chips" Charlie told her.

"Yeah me too, places like this cook the really well and they are really nice" she replied. Charlie put the menu's to one side to show they were ready to order then stood up.

"Want a drink?" he asked her.

"Um yes please, a coke please" she told him.

"Ok"

Charlie ordered the drinks and soon returned with them as the waiter came over.

"Are you ready to order?" she asked giving Charlie a flash smile.

"Erm yeah please to cheese burger and chips thanks" Charlie told her then took Ellie's hand from across the table. Ellie smiled at him.

When they had finished the meal which was very nice Charlie paid for them both and Ellie said thanks.

"Um its dangerous this time of night, do you wanna stay in a hotel?"

Charlie as they stepped outside into the cold.

"Sure" Ellie replied as Charlie took her hand and they both walked down the street, the only light coming from the lamposts.

"They'res one just down here" Charlie explained.

They both walked down the street and into a nice looking hotel. They went up to reception.

"Hi have you got any speare rooms for tonight? Just one night please" Charlie said to the receptionist.

"Yep, we have one"

"Yer erm could I pay in cash please or something?"

"Sure, its quite late so if you pay in the morning?"

"Ok thanks alot"

The receptionist handed him the key, then Charlie and Ellie both made there way upstairs.

Chapter 22

Charlie unlocked the door and it swung open to reaveal their room.

Ellie saw it only had one bed, a double one. Charlie saw Ellie's look.

"Ellie.." he said as she turned and walked down the hall and into the lift. She slid to the floor of the lift her head in her hands. It brought back to many bad memories. Charlie caught the lift door just in time, he jumped in the doors closing behind him.

"Ellie dont worry, im not gonna force you into something you dont want to do" he told her placing a warm hand on her shoulder. She looked up and he saw the tears. "Aww Ellie baby its ok" he told her pulling her to her feet and hugging her. "Is it coz of what Chris done?" he whispered to her. She nodded. "Shh its ok" he wiped her tears away and kissed her gently on the lips, his hand sneaking behind him and firmly pressing the lift button and holding it down so noone could disturb them.

The lift arrived at the top again and he led Ellie out, and back into their room.

Chapter 23

Ellie smiled as she watched Charlie sleep. She was already up and awake the next day and was watching Charlie as he slept. Ellie looked through the window. It was raining outside and was cold and drizzly. 'O well' thought Ellie, Charlie will keep me warm like he did last night. The night before Charlie and Ellie hadn't done anything, just fallen asleep in each others arms.
Charlie got up and seeing Ellie looking outside he walked over saying nothing. It was freezing in the hotel room.
Ellie jumped as Charlie slipped his arms around her waist and hugged her tightly.
"I'm cold" he murmured into her hair.
"Me too" she replied.
"Come back to bed and keep me warm" he pulled her over to the bed and under the covers wear he hugged her warmly. She laid her head on his chest and he pulled one arm from around her to stroke her soft face, not wanting to ruin the moment.

Chapter 24

"Where did you’s go last night?" asked Matt as Charlie and Ellie walked inside wet from all the rain.

"Nowhere we just stayed in a Hotel" Ellie replied and made her way upstairs to dry off.

"So you two got it on yet?" asked Matt as soon as Ellie was upstairs. Charlie looked at him with a dirty look as James watched as he ate ice cream.

"Er, no" Charlie replied going slightly red. Infact he didn't know why it hadn't happened. Usually, when he liked someone, he got it on within a week or sometimes he just had a one night stand, but with Ellie, it was different. He loved her and he didn't want to rush things, yet he couldn't wait until their relationship got really serious. Not that it wasn't serious now, It was just thing kept happened like Chris causing havoc with Ellie, so it wasn't really a proper relationship until all that had blown over. Luckily, it was just about over and now Charlie could really love Ellie the way he had always wanted to since he met her, Without anyone getting in the way.

"Why?" asked Matt.

Charlie was still puzzled. He was sure Ellie wasn't a virgin but ever since he had met Ellie he knew it was like and how hard it was to find the right person. He didn't even know if Ellie was ready, plus Chris had raped her so Charlie decided he would leave it for now and he wouldn't pressure her into anything, Like he had always said ; When it happens it happens.

Charlie shrugged.

"Coz it just aint, and I don't want to pressure her into anything or rush it" Charlie finally spoke and stood up. "I’m gonna go see if she's ok"

Charlie made his way upstairs and knocked on the bathroom door. He heard no reply and figured she was just drying her hair, so he proceeded in. He saw the shower was on but the glass was blurred so Charlie couldn't see anything except Ellie’s long blonde hair and a blurred body.

He grinned and took a step forward wondering whether he should join her or not.

"Ellie..." he called.

"Oh erm hey Charlie" she replied a little shocked but calm as she realised the glass was blurred.

"You ok?" he asked even though he knew the answer.

"Yep im fine"

"Can I join ya" he asked.

"Sorry, I've finished now" Ellie told him stepping out of the shower a towel wrapped round her wet body with her hair wet and dripping. She didn't really want anyone looking at her body, she wasn't really what you’d call a model’s body but she wasn't too bad. She wasn't fat, nor thing just about in between but she wasn't very confident about herself, although she knew Charlie would give her the confidence she needed to do just about anything.

"Its ok" Charlie grinned taking a warm towel from the radiator and wrapping it round her shoulders before kissing her gently on the lips.

Chapter 25

"I think I'm gonna go bed now" Ellie told Charlie trying to stand up but couldn't as he had his arms wrapped round her waist and he wasn't letting her go.
"Please stay and keep me warm" Charlie replied as Ellie turned off the tv.
"I’m tired though" Ellie said and trotted upstairs and into the bathroom to have a wash. Charlie grinned as he thought of a devious idea then he quietly crept upstairs and into Ellie’s room where he lay under the covers.
Ellie finished brushing her teeth and went into her room. She laid down in the darkness when suddenly something grabbed her.
"Ahhhhhhhh!!!!!" she screamed really loudly. "Charlieeeeeee help!"
"Er, i would but you deafened me" Charlie replied through the darkness. Ellie stood up and turned the light on.
"Aww Im sorry but you did scare me" she replied before pelting him with the pillow. Soon a pillow fight had broken out. Ellie giggled and climbed on the bed when Charlie sat on her legs so she couldn't move.
"Charlie!" she giggled and tried to hit him with the pillow, but he just stole it and threw it across the room.
"Give me a kiss or else" he said his face going serious. She leaned up and kissed him quickly, then went to stand up but he pulled her back and kissed her again. She smiled then suddenly yawned.
"I’ll leave you to get too sleep" Charlie said, kissed her one more time then left the room.

Chapter 26

Ellie awoke to the sound off footsteps and she opened her eyes. Charlie was making his way into her room.

"Hi, sleeping beauty" he grinned at her before planting a delicate kiss on her cheek.

"Morning" she replied grinning up at him, then sitting up and rubbing her eyes. "What day is it today?" she asked him.

"Monday"

"I gotta start looking for a job" Ellie explained.

"Yep, we have to look for a record deal"

"A record deal?"

"Yer, we’re in a band"

"I know that but I've never seen you play?"

Charlie walked into his room and returned with a flash guitar, then sat on the end of the bed. He begun to play a tune then sung.

"Her voice is echoed in my mind, I count the days till she is mine, Cant tell my friends cause they will laugh, I love a member of the staff...." he sung.

Ellie watched eyes wide open.

"Wow!" she exclaimed. "That’s really good I mean its wicked you’ve defiantly got talent there"

"Really?" he asked putting the guitar down.

"Yer! Can i here the rest?"

"Well Matt and James sing in it too, tell ya what get ready and come downstairs and we’ll perform the rest to you"

"Ok"

Charlie left the too get ready himself, then Ellie heard him go downstairs. She got ready and went downstairs herself.

Chapter 27

"Wow" Ellie said sitting there gob smacked and speechless after hearing Charlie, Matt and James perform some songs. "You guys are wicked, i mean you defiantly got talent" Ellie exclaimed. "I may have said the same thing to Charlie but i don't care that was really cool"

"You really think?" asked Matt not believing her.

"Yer!" Ellie replied standing up and pulling on her coat. "I’ll see you guys later, I gotta go for my job interview" she called walking out the door. "Oh and Good Luck!"

"Were gonna need it" muttered James.

"Stop being so negative. We gotta go now ourselves actually" Charlie said and stood up himself.

Ellie walked down the road and soon found herself in the town. They didn't live that far away from town thankfully. She pulled out the news paper cutting from her pocket which had the address of the cafe on and quickly read it. She walked down a couple more roads and found herself outside a cosy looking cafe. She took a deep breath and went inside.

Chapter 28

Ellie sat in a different cafe round the corner. She didn't know if she got the job, the interview went well, and they said they would phone her within three days if she got the job, and she was trying not to think about it.

"Hey" Charlie said walking into the cafe with Matt and James and sitting at Ellie’s table.

"Hello" she replied.

"This the cafe?" asked Matt looking around.

"No, its round the corner" she told them.

"Oh cool so did you get it?" asked Charlie. Ellie shrugged.

"I dunno, but they said they would phone within the next three days if i got the job"

"ooo i bet ya have" Charlie told her and grinned.

"Probably aint. What about you?"

"No luck" Matt said.

"But we have got a little job, performing in pubs and clubs, like a local band" Charlie grinned.

"That's Great!" Ellie smiled and hugged each one of them in turn.

"Well lets go home now, maybe we can go and celebrate" Ellie said after finishing her drink.

Chapter 29

That night Charlie, Matt, James and Ellie all fell asleep happily and very early after the tiring day. Soon it was morning but noone was up.
Ellie opened her eyes and yawned then sat up. She jumped out of bed, pulled on her dressing gown then put on her slippers. She walked out of her room and trotted downstairs.
"Morning" Charlie said to Ellie before passing her a cup of tea.
"Morning" she replied and plonked down onto the sofa. "Who’s up?" Ellie asked looking round the room. Usually Matt and James were up before her.
"Me, you and James, but he’s just popped up the shop to get some bacon"
"Right" Ellie replied taking a sip of her tea but putting it back down as it was hot. Charlie laughed and sat down next to her, just as her phone rang.

She picked it up.

"Hello?" she said.

"Hi, is this Ellie?"

"Yes..."

"Well thanks for coming along to the interview, im afraid not many people applied for the job, and yours was the best so you've got the job"

"Really? thanks so so much"

"Would you be able to start on Thursday?"

"Yes sure"

"Ok see you then, dead on nine"

"Yes thanks bye"

"bye"

Ellie turned to Charlie a grin appearing on her face. He looked at her puzzled.

"Who was that?"

"I got the job!!!" Ellie screamed ignoring his question.

"Wow well done!" he replied hugging her tightly.

"What's with all the shouting?" Matt exclaimed rubbing his eyes as he entered the room.

"I got the job!" Ellie repeated.

"Aww well done when do ya start?" asked Matt.

"Thursday" Ellie grinned.

"We start then too" James said entering the room with a shopping bag. "Congrats"

"Thank you"

"Lets go out and celebrate"

Chapter 30

Ellie, Charlie, Matt and James all walked down the darkened road. They were going out to celebrate, at a club. It was mainly because Matt and James wanted to get drunk and even pull some girls, but Ellie and Charlie didn't mind. Ellie just dreaded that no girls would be after Charlie while they were there, but Ellie looked forward to spending a night dancing with Charlie.

Ellie shivered as the cold air caused goose bumps down her shoulders, as she was wearing a sleeveless top with jeans, but she soon smiled as Charlie slipped his arm round her shoulders.

They soon arrived at the club and made their way inside. Music blared into their ears as they entered the room.

"Ellie!" screamed a voice from behind them. They all turned round. A tall girl stood there, she had long brown hair and blue eyes. She was wearing a blue boob tube, with a denim skirt and knee high boots and her cheeks were red from dancing.

"Melissa?" chocked out Ellie.

"Mel?" gasped Matt.

"You know each other?" asked Ellie looked from Melissa to Matt.

"Omg Matt, im so sorry I didn't recognize you! You've erm changed your hair" exclaimed Melissa eyeing up Matt’s hairdo ; black with a blonde streak through it.

Matt laughed.

"Well when Mel was thirteen she moved to near us and we were like best mates until she moved again" Matt explained.

"Wow, small world. Me and Melissa were best mates too, until she moved, but we still wrote and that I just kinda, er lost her address" Ellie explained her story, before realising she hadn't introduced Charlie nor James. "Oh um this is Charlie my boyfriend and James"

"Hi" Mel said. Charlie and James smiled at her.

"So, Mel how ya been?" asked Matt slipping into a seat near from where she was standing.

"Oh fine" she replied also sitting down. Ellie dragged Charlie and James away and left Mel and Matt in deep conversation.

Chapter 31

"Ouch" Mel complained as she buckled down the steps outside the club. Matt caught her just in time. "Thanks," she slurred. "But the chair wont be very happy"

Ellie, Charlie, Matt, James and Mel were all leaving the club. Throughout the night Mel had drunk loads and noone could stop her so she was really drunk now. Charlie, Matt and James had had a little bit to drink as well as Ellie.

Halfway through the night Mel had tried to marry the chair.

They all proceeded down the street, Mel still moaning that she missed her chair. It had all been decided, Mel would stay at theirs tonight. She was far to drunk to go home.

As they walked down the darkened street, Ellie found herself wedged between Matt and James, both Charlie and Matt were helping Mel walk. Suddenly, someone grabbed Ellie’s wrist and tried to pull her back away from the others.

"Get off!" she shouted as she turned round. She saw it was Chris and immediately her eyes widened and filled with tears as she felt mixed feelings. She was angry at Chris, as well as hurt and upset.

"What the hell are you doing Chris??? Cant you just leave Ellie alone???" shouted Charlie standing in front of Ellie and pushing Chris.

"Charlie, don't just leave it" she cried pulling him back. Chris pushed Charlie and threw a punch. There was a horrible sound as his fist hit Charlie’s face causing a nose bleed. Charlie punched Chris again then Matt and James pulled him back. Chris run off down the road. Charlie wiped his nose and turned back to Ellie who was now crying. He put his arms round her and she said nothing.

Chapter 32

Ellie, Charlie, Matt. James and Mel arrived home and all went straight to the kitchen. Ellie still wasn't speaking to Charlie, all the way home she hadn't spoken to anyone. Charlie sat on the kitchen side unaware that Ellie wasn't speaking to him. He just thought she was too tired to speak. They all watched as she raided the freezer for something to put on Charlie’s nose. She found some a pack of peas and held it on Charlie’s nose until he took them from her with his own hand, touching her hand as he did so. Ellie turned away as soon as he took them and run upstairs. Charlie was surprised when she slammed her bedroom door shut.

As soon as the door was closed, Ellie slid down the wall and cried into her hands. Why did Chris had to ruin everything?

Charlie slid of the side and decided to see if Ellie was ok. He walked upstairs.

"What's wrong with them?" Mel said swaying from side to side.

"Nothing, your drunk, you better go sleep" Matt said picking Mel up again and carrying her upstairs. "You can sleep in my room"

James opened the fridge and decided to make something to eat, he wasn't even tired.

"Ellie are you ok?" asked Charlie coming into her room. Ellie looked away. "I’m sorry"

"Charlie i told you not to hit him, i didn't want you getting hurt" she spoke.

"I didn't want you getting hurt either. Im sorry"

Charlie walked up to her and hugged her as they sat on the bed. Soon Ellie was asleep, Charlie laid her down and pulled the covers over her, before going to bed himself.

Chapter 33

"Ouch" Mel complained sitting up. She didn't know where she was and she didn't remember anything from the night before, except for meeting up with Ellie and Matt.

"Matt" she grinned and jumped up. She didn't care about her bad head, she just wanted to see Matt. She had been best mates to Matt, he had always been there for her.

She run out of the room and downstairs and saw Matt sitting on the sofa. She smiled and run straight over to him. She wanted to know how he was doing, what he was up to these days as she didn't have much time to talk to him yesterday.

"Mel" he smiled as she sat down. "Don't your head hurt?"

"More than anything"

Ellie yawned and rubbed her eyes. She stood up and looked outside, it was cold and rainy. She shook her head then walked downstairs to the smell of Charlie cooking breakfast.

"What ya cooking?" she asked walking up to him and kissing him on the cheek.

"Fry up" he replied. "Its ready now"

"I’ll go get the others" Ellie explained and walked out of the room into the front room. Mel and Matt were sat on the sofa talking, Matt was laughing and both of them were smiling. Mel watched as Matt laughed with a big smile on her face, she was so glad she had met up with Matt again.

"Um, breakfast is ready" Ellie told them then walked out of the room and upstairs to wake up James. She knocked on his door.

"Yeah?" James called.

"Can I come in?" she asked.

"Yeah"

She opened the door and walked in. James was sat on his bed.

"What's up?" she asked.

"Nothing, its just you know i see loads of girls? and nothing is serious?" James explained. Ellie nodded. "Well i don't wanna see girls anymore, i just wanna find the right one and have something serious"

"Aww James you’ll find someone"

"Yeah I guess"

"But first, you have to dump the people your seeing"

"Yeah"

"Now come and have some breakfast" she said pulling him up.

"Ok"

Chapter 34

"This is very yummy" Ellie said as they all ate breakfast.

"Yeah, Charlie i didn't even know you could cook" Matt grinned.

"Uh huh" Mel spoke not even listening as she enjoyed the fry up so much. When she had finally finished she stood up. "I've gotta go back to college tomorrow, and i gotta go get my stuff ready" she explained. "Matt ill ring you later, you too Ellie, nice breakfast Charlie and nice meeting you James" she said in a rush.

"Ill let you out!" Matt said and jumped up and followed her out the room and to the front door.

"Ok then" Ellie said and stood up. She picked up hers, Charlie’s, Matt’s, James’ and Mel’s plates as they had all finished, and put them in the dishwasher. Ellie sat down again and yawned.

"Were all starting work tomorrow" Charlie exclaimed.

"Yeah, and I have to wear a waitress outfit" Ellie giggled. Charlie smiled.

"Hey, its better then nothing"

"Yeah"

"I hope we get breaks tomorrow" James said out of the blue.

"Ok so call me tomorrow and we can all meet up" Matt told Mel.

"Sure, well we've been chatting for ages i really gotta go now" she replied turning to go.

"Yeah, and im glad we met up again" Matt said and hugged her before she walked off. He walked back into the house closing the door behind him. "Ellie can i speak to you please?" he asked entering the kitchen.

"Sure" she replied following him into the front room. They both sat on the sofa.

"I, er um you know Mel?" he asked struggling you tell Ellie.

"Yer.."

"Well i think i love her" Matt explained quickly.

"Aww that's so sweet!" Ellie replied.

"What?"

"Sweet! You to so belong together and would make such a cute couple"

"Ellie, we wont! She's my best mate and it wouldn't work out"

"Hello, me and Charlie were best mates and look how that turned out"

"You too are all over each other!"

"We are not! Well anyway, you tell her how you feel, or i will"

"No don't, please I will tell her then" Matt begged.

Chapter 35

"Ok" she stood up and went into the kitchen again and looked around. "Where's Charlie?" she asked James. He shrugged.

"Im here" Charlie said wrapping his arms around Ellie’s waist. "I wanted to scare ya"

"Ooo ok" she replied. "Listen, i was thinking..."

"Thinking what?"

"Come upstairs and I’ll tell ya"

Charlie followed Ellie upstairs and into her room. They both sat down.

"What is it?" he asked worrying slightly incase it was something bad.

"Well, you know you said I could stay here until i got myself sorted out.."

"Yeah"

"Well, i have now and i think i should move out. You see there is no space for me here and the stuff in my room is just half my stuff!"

"No, Ellie no stay here please there is room"

"Charlie, look around. There isn't, you haven't seen all the stuff I own"

"Ellie please?"

"I don't know yet. I may move i may not"

Chapter 36

“Ok im ready now” Ellie said. It was Thursday morning, the day when Charlie, Matt, James and Ellie all started work, and everyone was ready. Charlie was gonna drop Ellie of at work on their own way to work.
“Good” Charlie replied.
They all walked out of the house and Matt locked the door then they all got in the car. Charlie started it up, he was in the drivers seat with Ellie in the passengers and Matt and James in the back.
“Do I look ok for work?” Ellie asked Charlie.
“Yep you look gorgeous”
“But not to, you know dressed up?”
“No way!”
“Good”
They soon arrived outside the cafe where Ellie was working.
“Bye” she said and kissed Charlie on the cheek before jumping out the car and walking towards the cafe. She turned round and gave one last wave before walking in.
“Ellie, hello ready for your first day?” the manager asked.
“Um I think” Ellie laughed.
“Good, well Cheryl here will show you around and help you out ok?” the manager explained pointing to a girl about Ellie’s age. She had long blonde hair and brown eyes.
“Ok thanks”
“Hi, im Cheryl” Cheryl said holding out her hand.
“Ellie” Ellie replied shaking her hand.

“Nice place” James grinned as him, Charlie and Matt set up on stage.
“I know” Charlie replied. “Ready?”
“Yes” Matt replied.
“Yep”
Charlie turned around to the guy who was doing the drums, as Charlie, Matt and James each had to do the guitar. Charlie did play the drums but when they performed they got someone else too.
“O yer im ready” the drummer replied.
They all launched into their first song as people around them watched.

“Ok and would you like a drink?” Ellie asked the person she was serving.
“No thanks” they replied. Ellie walked back to the counter and slid behind it telling Cheryl what the man had ordered. She disappeared into the kitchen for a minute then returned.
“It aint that busy today” she told Ellie.
“No...when's our break?” she asked.
“In a while”
Ellie couldn't help thinking how Cheryl was suited for James.
At that moment, Charlie, Matt and James walked into the cafe and took a table. Ellie smiled and walked over.
“Hi” she said to them.
“You have to wear that?” Charlie asked looking at her outfit.
“Urm yes unfortunately”
“O, so how did it go?”
“Ok, er is it ok if Cheryl hangs out with us on our break?”

“Sure” Charlie replied.

Ellie walked up to Cheryl.

“Who's the guy with blonde hair?” she asked.

“The one i was talking too?”

“No the other one”

“Oh that's James”

“He's cute”

“C’mon then and you can get to know him better”

Ellie and Cheryl united the aprons and pulled them off then walked over to the guys.

“Um, this is Cheryl, Cheryl this is Charlie, Matt and James”

“Hi” they all said.

“So shall we go for a walk through the park?” Charlie asked.

“Sure” Ellie replied.

They all walked outside and into the sunlight.

Chapter 37

“Mel?!” Matt shouted seeing her in the park walking a little further on then them. He run up to her.

“O er hey Matt” she said turning round to talk to him.

“Aint you meant to be at college?” he asked with a puzzled face.

“O yer I guess” she told him wishing she had thought of a better excuse to why she weren't at college.

“Well why aint you?” he asked getting slightly mad.

“Coz er erm...” she trailed off. He sat her on a bench out of sight from the others.

“Now tell me”

“Coz i don't go to college!” she admitted putting her head in her hands.

“Why?”

“I dropped out ages ago but i didn't want you to think i was a failure with no job, or no education, im sorry i lied”

“Its ok and I don't think your a failure”

“Why?”

“Why don't I think your a failure?” he asked. She nodded. “Because...” he trailed off slowly moving closer to her. He kissed her softly on the lips. “I love you” he finished off his sentence.

“You love me?” she stuttered.

“Yeah, a lot” he replied standing up. “And I guess you don't feel the same way” He told her beginning to walk off.

“Matt! I feel the same way” she called running up to him. She kissed him. He grinned at her. They walked through the park in search of the others.

“You ok?” Charlie asked Ellie as they walked along.

“Yep im fine” she replied. “Look at them” she giggled seeing Cheryl and James walking along in deep conversation.

“You think they like each other?”

“Yeah, Cheryl said that she thought he was cute”

“Aww sweet. So about this thing..” Charlie begun fiddling with her hand.

“What thing?” she asked.

“You moving out” he replied as they both sat on a bench.

“What about it?” she sighed.

“Ellie, I don't want you to move out”

“I have too!” she replied.

“But I’m gonna miss you”

“Charlie, im only moving out, im not moving country”

“Yer i know but it will seem as if you are”

“Will it”

“Yeah, i wont be able to see you as much”

“You will, you can still drop me to work every day, you can come round after work everyday, and on the weekends you can stay over”

“Aint you gonna be lonely” he asked giving in as he thought about all the good things. He could spend a whole weekend with her, just her, without Matt and James annoying them.

“I’ll be ok”

“Ok then” he kissed her. “But im gonna miss you”

Cheryl laughed at something James had said. He grinned at her.

“So you was stuck in there for two hours?” she asked. He nodded.

“Yep, and another time i was really scared because I owed this shop like, 2p and i thought they were gonna come and put me in prison” he told her. She laughed even more and had to sit on the grass for a while as she was laughing so much. He sat down across from her.

“Er, Cheryl..” he begun going slightly red. She looked up.

“Yeah?”

“Would you um, like to go on a date with me on Friday?” he asked.

“Yeah I’d love too” she replied, a massive grin appearing on her face.

Chapter 38

“When is it?” Ellie asked as she wiped the last table in the cafe later that day.
“Friday...that's tomorrow!” screeched Cheryl.
“Cool.. you really like him don't you?”
“Yep” Cheryl grinned. “So how long you and Charlie been dating?”
“erm..about a month”

“Cool”

Suddenly there was a bib outside, meaning Charlie, Matt and James had finished work and had arrived to pick Ellie up.

“Opps, gotta go so ill see ya tomorrow yeah” Ellie told her pulling of her apron and heading to the door.

“Yep, bye” Cheryl replied.

“Bye”

Ellie run out the door and jumped into the car.

“That Cheryl?” Charlie asked as that's all James was talking about through work.

“Yes it is” James replied flicking Charlie on the ear from the back.

“Ow! James im trying to concentrate on driving”

“Just coz you can drive doesn't mean you can act all smart” James grinned and sat back down. Suddenly Ellie’s mobile run.

“Hello” she spoke down the phone.

“Hi, is Matt there” Mel asked.

“Matt? aint he got his own phone?” Ellie puzzled.

“Its turned off”

Ellie rolled her eyes and passed the phone to Matt.

“Who is it?” he mouthed.

“Who do you think?” she laughed and turned back round and the car rolled to a stop.

“Hello” Matt said down the phone.

“Hi, Matt, hey you aint told anyone about me er not going to college have you?” Mel replied.

“Nope”

“O good I don't want anyone to know”

“Ok, I wont tell anyone but..” he turned round as everyone got out of the car and whispered into the phone, his hand covering his mouth. “If you still wanna see me you will have to sneak round when your meant to be at college”

“Sure, sounds fun” Mel giggled.

“Well ring me later or something on my phone, I’ll turn it back on”

“Ok see ya love ya”

Matt grinned.

“Love ya too bye”

“Bye”

He passed the phone back to Ellie and jumped out the car. Charlie locked the car then they all went inside.

Chapter 39

“My feet are killing me” Ellie complained as she fell onto the sofa pulling her shoes off. “I've been walking round all day serving people” she said. “And...I smell of bacon”

Charlie found himself laughing and collapsing onto the sofa next to Ellie. Matt yawned.

“I’m tired” he told them.

“Its only half six” grinned James who couldn't stop smiling.

“What are you so happy about?” asked Matt taking a seat on the other sofa as Ellie and Charlie had taken up all of the first.

“Its coz he asked Cheryl out on a date” Ellie explained.

“I knew that” Matt smirked. “Its just James is never this happy!”

“Gosh, you girls tell each other everything!” Charlie frowned.

“Innit” Ellie sighed standing up. “I’m having a shower then going straight to bed”

She made her way upstairs. Charlie sat up.

“I am so glad I've got Ellie” he said to them both as James also took a seat.

“Yep, she's nicer then your ex” James spoke.

“Yer, what was her name? the one that turned psycho”

“O Amanda”

“Yer..she kept trying to steal our tea bags didn't she?” Matt asked.

“No, Matt that was you” Charlie explained. “Plus, she was nicer then any of your ex.'s”

“O really” James defended. “You didn't know any of my ex.‘s!”

“Well no but i Knew Matt’s”

“I had to many” Matt told them. “I never stay with girls for long, I never like them!” he laughed.

“You like Mel” Charlie told him.

“Yer as a mate its not as if im dating her” Matt said to him getting slightly uncomfortable. He stood up. “And im going to the chippy, want anything?”

Ellie made her way downstairs about half hour later to the smell of nice chips.

“Mmm what's cooking?” she asked Charlie entering the kitchen.

“Nothing, Matt just got some chips from the chippy for dinner” Charlie replied passing her a plate with chips on.

“Cool thanx”

They all ate dinner then went to bed.

Chapter 40

Soon it was next day and seven a clock finally rolled round - the time of Cheryl’s and James’ date. Ellie was lazing out on the sofa after another busy day at work, Charlie was sprawled out on the sofa opposite as Ellie had pushed him of the sofa she was on. James was sitting nervously on the chair, he was gonna pick Cheryl up but Charlie wouldn't let him borrow the car so Cheryl was walking round to the guys house and they were going from there. Matt was out, he had told them all he was going clubbing by himself which he never done, but really he was visiting Mel.

Matt knocked on Mel’s door and patiently waited for her to answer it. After a while she did answer it, a towel wrapped round herself and wet hair.

“Matt” she said surprised. She let him in and closed the door. “Sorry, I wasn't expecting you round, i was just having a shower. He grinned and pulled her closer kissing her on the lips passionately while she kissed back desperately holding her towel up. She begun giggling. “Make yourself a drink or something while i go get dried off”

Meanwhile, at the guys house there was a knock at the door. James jumped up and opened the door to reveal a stunning Cheryl ready for their date. He kissed her on her cheek.

“You look....stunning” he told her grabbing her hand and leading her outside before Ellie and Charlie could come and keep them any longer.

“Looks like its just us then” Charlie said to Ellie.

“Uh huh” she replied flicking of the tv. “Tv is so boring”

“Yep, lets do something else then”

He stood up and joined her on the sofa, she greeted him with a soft kiss which Charlie returned passionately.

“So this is your flat?” called Matt from the front room.

“Yep, small but cosy” Mel replied and entered the front room dried off now, her hair still a bit wet though. She sat next to him on the sofa. “You know us..” she begun turning to face Matt.

“Yes?” he replied.

“You don't think its weird you know, since we used to be best mates?”

“Not really, I aint really thought of it that way”

“O cool, i just wanted to check you know”

“Yep”

Matt kissed her again and pulled her down onto the sofa.

Cheryl and James were enjoying a tasty meal at a romantic restaurant James knew. Both Cheryl and James were shy, but every now and again a grin and a bit of eye contact was passed across the table while they chatted about various things, both thinking of each other.

Chapter 41

James grinned as Cheryl finished her meal, he had just finished his.
“That was really nice” she said to James.
“Yep and it was even better being on a date with you” he told her. She giggled.
“Well erm I better get back coz im a bit tired”
“Sure, I'll walk you back”
They both walked down the road and soon arrived at Cheryl’s flat.
“Well, ring me soon” she told James.
“Yep night”
“night”
He kissed her on the cheek then turned to go. He walked down the street and phoned Charlie.
“I love you Charlie” Ellie said suddenly, even though both her and Charlie knew she loved him.
“I love you too” he replied wrapping his arms around her and holding her tighter as they still laid on the sofa. “Why did you say it just now though?” Charlie quizzed.
“Dunno” she replied. Charlie leant down and kissed her neck softly, then her lips. Suddenly his phone rung.
“Yello?” he asked.
“Charlie, can you come pick me up plz?”
“Yer ok where are ya” sighed Charlie.
“Merlin road”
“K see you soon bye”
“Bye”
Charlie turned to Ellie.
“I gotta go pick up James, wanna come?”
“Naa ill just stay here”
“Ok bye”
He kissed her on the cheek then left the house after picking up his car keys.
Matt grinned at Mel. They were both laid on the sofa.
“You ok?” he asked. She nodded and wrapped her arms around him resting her head on his chest and closing her eyes. He wrapped his arms around her too and they both fell asleep.
Charlie saw James and bibbed. James jumped in the car.
“Alright?” Charlie asked him.
“Uh huh” James replied.
Half hour later James and Charlie arrived back at the house to find Ellie curled up on the sofa asleep. James went straight to bed. Charlie walked over to Ellie and picked her up. He carried her to her room and laid her on the bed, pulling the cover over her, then went into his own room.

Chapter 42

The next morning Ellie woke up quite early, noone was up. She quickly got dressed and made her way downstairs. She wanted to look for a new flat today, but she didn't want Charlie to know as she knew he would try to find reasons for her to look another day, then each time she looked for one he would make her say another date. She quickly scribbled him a note saying ;
Charlie,
Just popped round Mel’s for a chat be back soon ok?

Ellie xxx
She then pulled on her coat and left the house.
Matt walked down the street smiling. He had just left Mel’s house and he was happy. She was still asleep when he left, but he wanted to get back to the guys house. As he turned the corner to their street he bumped into Ellie.
“Hi, what ya up to?” he asked.
“Going round Mel’s” she replied.
“Shes asleep”
“O right” Ellie replied and turned to go.
“Where you going now?” asked Matt suspiciously.
“To the shop”
“What for?”
“Milk”
“We got milk”
“Ok, im going to look for a flat but don't tell Charlie” she whispered.
“oooo Ok then bye”
“Bye”
Ellie continued down the road to the bus stop just as her bus arrived. She jumped on.
“o hey Matt” Charlie said as Matt entered the kitchen.
“Hey” Matt replied taking a seat at the table.
“You seen Ellie?” Charlie asked. “Coz she's gone round Mel’s and you've just come back from hers...”
“Yer, i just saw her”
“O cool”
Ellie arrived home about 2 hours later, she had found a flat. It was small but cosy, with a kitchen and front room in one, two bedrooms and a toilet with a shower and bath tub inside. It was in a big block of flats with about 10 floors, her flat was on the 5th floor, number 23.
“Have a good time round Mel’s?” asked Charlie.
“Urm, Charlie I never went round Mel’s” Ellie replied deciding to tell the truth. Charlie made a puzzled face.
“Then where were you?” he asked.
“Urm, i was looking for a flat”
“O. why didn't you tell me?”
“Coz I knew you’d make a fuss because you don't want me to move out” Ellie replied standing up. Charlie stood too.
“How do you know?” he questioned getting slightly angry.
“Because I know you Charlie! I know you want what's best for me and believe me this is best for me!”
“What, sitting in a flat all alone every night, when you’ve got your ex on the lookout for you trying to rape you again, and your boyfriend cant do anything about it coz he doesn't even live near you”
“Chris has given up, im ok now!” Ellie cried.
“Sure you are Ellie” Charlie said blankly and sat on the sofa turning the tv on. Ellie sighed and went to bed.


Chapter 43

The next day, Ellie woke up feeling miserable. She blamed it on the argument her and Charlie had last night. Yawning, she got out of bed and made her way downstairs. Charlie, Matt and James were sat on the sofa eating toast, and James was on his phone. Ellie stole a packet of crisps from the fridge and made her way into the front room, sitting on the chair. Charlie didnt even look up, nor say anything, Matt said hi and James nodded as he was talking on the phone.
As soon as Ellie finished eating, she stood up, threw the empty crisp packet in the bin then went back upstairs. She was gonna phone her mum today, and plan for her and Charlie to go down to Ellie's parents house and meet her parents, then pick up the rest of her stuff for her new flat. Ellie had lots of things back there, inluding her Ps2 but now she wernt so sure about Charlie meeting her parents. She knew he cared and that he always would and she knew that he wasnt just thinking of himself, but she was 17 she could look after herself. If he could, being the same age, then so could she. She changed into her 3/4 lenghts with her green ted baker t-shirt and her small denim jacket, before pulling on her trainers and going downstairs. Maybe she should wait until her and Charlie were on good terms before sorting anything out. She had already bought the flat and could move in whenever she wanted too.
"Hey Matt.." she begun. Matt leant his head against the sofa so he was facing her but could only see her upside down.
"yer?" he replied.
"where is the nearest train station?" she asked.
"Urm not to far why?"
Ellie smiled as Charlie quickly looked up. Her plan was working.
"Coz I need to get a train to Luton" she told Matt. Charlie jumped up, taking Ellie's hand and dragging her upstairs to his room closing the door behind them.
"Ellie plz dont leave, im sorry about what i said, you can move into your flat i just want you to be safe" he said very quickly and pulled her into a hug.
"I'm sorry too Charlie, but my mum and dad live in Luton, i was just gonna pick up my stuff"
"Your cheeky!" he grinned and tickled her. She fell onto the bed giggling.
"I know, i love you Charlie"
"I love you too"

Chapter 44

Ellie smiled slightly as Charlie said this. Even though she already knew he loved her and how he felt about her, its always nice to hear him say it.
"I was wondering, next week when i pick my stuff up, you wanna come and meet my parents?" suggested Ellie finally able to talk without giggling.
"Sure" he grinned at her. She smiled again this time more happy. She was so glad she had Charlie and considered herself so so lucky. "Ahhh the days nearly over now. What if we just hang out infront of the tv all day?"
"The day isnt nearly over! But that does sound like a good idea so uh huh"
He picked her up and carried her to the front room putting her down on the sofa.
"Hi, Mel can i come round?" Matt asked on the phone while he cleared up breakfast.
"Sure see you soon?"
"Yep love you bye"
"bye"
Matt grinned. He really liked Mel. Although he wasnt the sort of person who wanted long term relationships, he thought different about him and Mel's. He was falling in love with her, a big thing for Matt but he couldnt help it. He really liked Mel and unlike most people he wanted to spend the rest off his life with her. Maybe even one day, he thought as he made his way upstairs, maybe one day they could get married and even have kids. But he was only nineteen so he wasnt quite sure yet. He also had to tell everyone that him and Mel were an item, just not yet though. He liked the idea of their realationship being a secret, it was more exciting this way.
As he made his way back downstairs a few minutes later he saw Charlie carrying Ellie into the front room. Well, atleast there ok now he thought to himself.
"Just popping out!" he shouted walking out of the house and closing the door behind him. He walked down the street and soon arrived at Mel's.
James sat in his room on his bed after eating breakfast, his phone in his hands. Would he seem too clingy if he rung Cheryl? What would he say? Would she get the wrong end of the stick if he asked her to come round? James sighed and dialed Cheryls number before he lost his confidence. After the 5th ring, James was about to put the phone down when Cheryl picked up.
"Hello?" she gasped down the phone, she was obviously out of breath.
"Hi, Cheryl its me James, are you ok?" James replied.
"Yer, i had just got home, well i got outside the flat as the phone rung then i had to find my key, then when i finally got in i had to find the phone.
"O right want me to phone back a little later?"
"No! I mean urm no its ok" Cheryl said. She was really happy James had phoned.
"O, i was wondering if you wanted to go out somewhere, or maybe come back here and hang out?"
"Sure, I'd love too"
"Ok, but Ellie and Charlie have just decided theyre gonna watch Tv all day soo..."
"Yep thats fine, maybe we can go out for pizza" suggested Cheryl.
"Yep that would be great, um Ill have to borrow Charlie's car though" James explained laughing slightly.
"Ok, pick me up in half hour?"
"Yep"
"bye"
"bye"

Chapter 45

"Hey babe" Matt smiled kissing Mel gently on the lips as she opened the door.
"Hey Matt" she replied and let him in.
"You ok?" he asked.
"Yer you?"
"Fine"
He kissed her again on the lips, this time more passiontly.
"Hey, Charlie?" asked James entering the front room. Charlie looked up. "As your watching tv all day could I borrow your car please?"
"Yer, I s'pose. If you do me a favour?"
"What?"
"Find that Dvd, er whats it called again?"
"Which one?"
"The one with all those horrible dogs and that..."
"O what Resident Evil?"
"Yer"
James dissapered up into his room for a minute and returned with the DVD in his hands. He passed it to Charlie before leaving the house.
"Whos up to what today then?" asked Mel.
"Erm, Charlie and Ellie decided there gonna watch tv all day and i think James is taking Cheryl out somewhere. And me and you are...." he paused for a second to think. "Were gonna erm....i cant decide. What do you think?"
"I think..." Mel begun stepping towards him. "We should..." she continued wrapping her arms around his neck. "Stay in" she finished off with a kiss for him on the lips. He returned it with tounges, turning the soft kiss into a more passionite french one. He stepped backwards pulling her closer, and finally after many giggles and Matt bumping into things as he walked backwards, he found their way to Mel's room, as he still kissed her passiontly.
"Hey James" Cheryl grinned coming out of her flat.
"Hey you look gorgeous" James replied seeing Cheryl in jeans and a baby blue top, matching perfectly. She giggled and uttered a small thanks before James gave her a quick kiss on the cheek. He turned to go, but Cheryl pulled him back placing her lips on his. His hands moved down her back, while her hands moved through his hair. They stayed like this for quite a while, until James suggested they left as they were getting strange lookes off old grannies walking past.
"Let them look" Cheryl whispered to him and kissed him yet again before pulling away. She opened the flat door again and pulled him inside. "Lets just stay in today" she told him and pulled him down on the sofa kissing.
"Eww" wailed Ellie seeing the dogs. Charlie just laughed. "Well look at them there like inside out" she complained before going back to watching the film. "O yeah, ive got a day of Tuesday"
"Cool, weve got tommorrow off, but Ill see if i can get Tuesday off instead"
"You dont have too"
"I do" he grinned.
"What are you up too?" she asked.
"Nothing" he told her, still planning ahead the evening tommorow. "Nothing at all...."

Chapter 46

That night, Matt arrived home late, his excuse that he was round some girls house. James arrived a bit earlier, he had found it hard to leave Cheryl. He really liked her and was sure he was falling in love, well he thought he was already in love, or something along those lines.
Charlie and Ellie both went to bed late too, they really did spend all day watching films. In the morning, Charlie phoned the pub manager, and changed their day off till Tuesday. Charlie dropped Ellie of to work, James popped into the cafe to quickly see Cheryl. Then once he was back in the car, Charlie drove them all to work.
“Hello” Cheryl smiled as Ellie came in.
“Hi” Ellie replied and pulled on her apron.
“Scuse me honey,” called a man from a table beckoning over Cheryl. She walked over. “Could i have a hot chocolate plz?”
“Sure” Cheryl returned and made the hot chocolate. Ellie was off serving someone else when Cheryl passed the man the hot chocolate.
“So what's your name?” the old man asked with a sly grin.
“Cheryl” she replied. Suddenly the man knocked a spoon of the table. “Get that for me will you honey?”
Cheryl nodded and bent down where the man grabbed her bum. She stood up right away and passed him the spoon then walked off. Thankfully noone had spotted him.
“Oh i love performing” Matt grinned as him and the guys finished singing for their break.
“Yep” Charlie replied. They packed up and made their way out of the pub and down the road, seeing it was a nice day today. They soon arrived at the cafe and saw Ellie cleaning some tables, while Cheryl sat at the counter looking round suspiciously, she looked really uncomfortable. The guys went in and nor Ellie or Cheryl saw them. James sneaked up behind Cheryl and wrapped his arms around her. She jumped and fell of the counter.
“Cheryl, are you ok?” asked James helping her up.
“Yes, yer im fine yes” she replied pulling of her apron.
“You just feel a bit er jumpy”
“Im fine ok James!” she shouted and walked off over to Ellie. Ellie was too busy kissing Charlie to notice. She pulled away grinning then they all left for their break.

Chapter 47

Charlie, Ellie, Matt, James and Cheryl walked down the road. James was on one side, then Charlie holding hands with Ellie, then Matt walked next to her with Cheryl walking on the other side. Ellie suspected something was wrong with Cheryl, but told Cheryl she would speak to her when they got back to the cafe.
Meanwhile, Mel was sat at her flat. She was on the sofa curled up in a ball, crying. Something was wrong, she knew it but she couldn't bare to admit it. She picked up her phone and dialled Matt’s number.
“Hello?” Matt replied as he answered his phone.
“Hi, Matt come to mine i need to speak to you” Mel replied and put down the phone. Matt, looking very worried, told everyone he forgot something at home and made his way quickly around to Mel’s.
Charlie suddenly begun tickling Ellie again.
“Ahh no!!” she screamed running ahead. “You can kiss me if you can catch me!” she laughed and run further ahead and round the corner.
Charlie run after her until it was just Cheryl and James. They walked along side in silence.
“Ellie wait up!” he called. She turned to face him and grinned as she walked backwards. “Ellie no!” he shouted a look of terror coming over his face. A car was heading straight for her as she walked backwards into the road, still grinning thinking Charlie said no so he could get a kiss.
“Come and get a kiss th-” she begun as the car came speeding towards her and hit her. She went flying over the bonnet and landed on the other side unconscious, blood pouring everywhere.
“No!” screamed Charlie as loudly as he possibly could.
“What happened?” asked Cheryl coming round the corner with James after hearing Charlie shouting. Cheryl saw Ellie’s crumpled body and the car window screen covered in blood before dropping to her knees crying as the driver rung an ambulance.
“Erm hi Matt” Mel said to him letting him in. “I need to tell you something”
Matt nodded and sat next to her on the sofa.
“Im er, im pregnant and your the father"
