Q. if there is a colony of monsters in the lake, how come there have never been any dead bodies of the monsters recovered before?
A.  the loch is a fresh water home, which is fed buy a number of small rivers and streams. many of these run through peat bogs on their way to the loch. peat is the remains of ancient plant matter. tiny pieces of peat are picked up and carries along into the loch. the peat makes the loch slightely acid. now this is where the explanation comes in: the cold, slightly acid water is the key explanation to the question. in different kind of lake a dead body is likely to fill with gas and rise. the gas forms as tiny living things feed on the flesh. these tiny things are bacteria, and they case dead matter to rot. however, in the cold, acid water, bacteria are not very active. their feeding is slow. the gas escaped instead of biolding up and the body does not rise.
Q.  how can it be so hard to find a giant colony of creatures in a single lake?
A.  well there is a few things that make it difficult to discover whatever might be in the lake. first of all loch ness, although small compared to other bodies of water, is still a large enough  body of water(1 mile long, 600ft. deep)to keep something from being found. another problem is that the waters of loch ness are very murkey, and you can only see about 50ft. down into it. and yet there is another problem, there have been underwater caves found in loch ness which could provide keen hiding places for any large animal of any size.
