Years ago a man named Harris Burdick called upon a book publisher by the name of Peter Wender. Mr. Burdick explained that he had written 14 stories and had drawn many pictures to go with the stories. He brought one picture from each story to see if Mr. Wenders liked his work.

Mr. Wenders was fascinated and told Mr. Burdick to bring in the stories that went with the pictures A.S.A.P. He left the drawing with Mr. Wenders, but did not return the next day or the day after that. In fact Harris Burdick was never heard from again. Over the years Mr. Wenders tried to find out what had happened to Mr. Burdick, but he discovered nothing. TO this day Harris Burdick remains a mystery.
