Well OMGosh, it's been a while. L is just finishing up his tour in a few weeks. He just went back this week after a short vacation. We got some interesting news while he was home, we are being posted out and he thinks he is getting promoted. YAY. The new base wasn't our first choice but we will make the best of Ontario that we can. We are starting to get really excited. K got a new fish, Nemo, a few weeks ago and it looks like he will be staying here in BC. We have a few ideas for a good home for him but we are waiting to see what happens. And we are not sure if we are shipping Isis, or taking her in the car with us. This time around the trip across the country will be different with K and the cat. We are making some stops(E-town for a few days, etc) along the way. It will be a busy few months but fun ones I am sure. I will do my best to keep you guys posted on all the news. Happy Easter. :)

I am still so busy. K's skating graduation was yesterday. Though she didn't quite graduate she did make some amazing progress this year. I have been working on a new website, total tally is now 4 that I own. That keeps me really busy. And this one sometimes falls by the wayside as life never really changes, it just stays busy. L will be home for a visit soon and then only a few weeks til his is done his tour altogether. YAY. Now I am off to do another site update and then to make dinner. Pork chops....YUM. Miss you all lots and talk to you soon. Be sure and check out all the new sites. :)

OMGosh things have been so busy. I have been running all over the place with K and though her activities are coming to in end, in some cases, we seem busier than ever. I am off to register her for t-ball in a few weeks. I have also been approached to be in a documentary about the lives of military wives and that is incredibly exciting. We should know more about that at month's end. K is out of her crib and sootherless now, which she handled with great grace. We still have some struggles but she is really good about it. We will be working on bathroom training soon. L is doing well and really misses home. At least he has some friends to keep him company. He will be home soon...WOO HOO.

WOW, a whole New Year. Christmas vacation was great...we had a wonderful time and Kyra got a ton of stuff. I just spent last week rearranging her room so she could have space for all the new stuff and still have room to play. We are back swimming and skating, playgroup goes back at the end of the month. They have hired 2 former facilitators to run it. I hope the program remains the same. Kyra is already disappointed Max won't be coming back. Luke is still doing well and is on a break in a few more weeks. He sounds like he really needs it. LOL, so do I.

We are finally in our new house. The move was quick but everything since then has been going slow. Luke is leaving in less than a week and it will be just us. Ah, military life, what do you do?! At least we have lots of friends and activities to keep us busy. Christmas is just around the corner and I have still done nothing. Looks like the first week of December will be shopping/card mailing week. :)

Gosh, things have been soooo busy around here. With Dh off again soon, a move in less than a week, a newly created website(you can find the link in Kim's area), and Christmas just around the corner, things have been crazy. Dh and dd are just getting over a cold, that I managed to avoid getting(knock on wood) and we are packing like crazy. I'll post pics of the new house when we move in. We are all really excited as it means new decorating and painting for me. Something to keep me busy while dh is gone. :)

So we are all ready for HALLOWEEN. The pumpkins have been carved, the costume is ready and we are counting down the days. We have a party at playgroup and at the base on Saturday :). Hopefully Luke will be home for that. Kyra is really excited. As some of you know, Luke is heading off to work on another project and will be busy for quite a while. Kyra and I have lots of keep us busy, the cat...swimming, skating, playgroup...etc. :)

Hope everyone had a happy and safe Thanksgiving. We had a quiet on and no big meal. With just the two of us, no point really. We still gave thanks in our own way. Luke is getting close to finishing this project..about 2 more weeks. We can hardly wait for it to be done. :) Vicki is coming for the weekend next weekend which will be really nice. We haven't seen her in a while. Kyra is starting swimming lessons next month and she seems to be excited about it. She keeps mentioning it. And everyone is healthy and happy. The rainy season is being to rear its ugly head here in the west but at least it's not snow like Alberta and Manitoba had. So, on the the next holiday, Halloween. Kyra is all ready with costume, safety light and treat basket. What a kid!! :)

Well, September has come to a close. Kyra started skating and is having fun, Luke is off working on a project and keeping busy. On to the next event, Thanksgiving....don't have any plans yet. And then Halloween is just around the corner. We have tracked down a Dora costume for Kyra and she can hardly wait to go trick-or-treating with some friends. I will take lots of pics so you can all see how cute she was. Besides that, just the same old, same old...fall on the west coast. :P

Gosh, time flies when you are having fun. Luke is getting ready for a big new project. I think he is excited but it's hard to tell sometimes. Kyra started back to Playgroup and is loving it. All the same faces from last year and lots of new ones too. She was so happy to be there and the same "teacher" is back too. Sadly, it is only one day a week and a half hour shorter in time than it used to be. We are all rallying for it to be back the way it was. We'll have to wait and see what comes of it. Kyra starts skating in a little over a week. We have all our stuff together finally. She is so excited about going and we have to go this week and register for swimming lessons. Busy, busy, busy. :) Isaac is doing well at school and hopefully he can come over when Luke's project is done. Keeping our fingers crossed.

We had a wedding yesterday and now everyone is moving really slowly today. It was a good time and we got to see a lot of people we haven't seen in a while. It was a busy day so today is recoup day. I have been working more on the website and it is really looking great, in my opinion. I like it a lot better than the old format. Beyond that, just a quiet Sunday. Hope all is well with everyone and you have a great week. :)

Lots going on lately. Isaac is back in school for grade 1. Kyra is getting ready for playgroup, skating and swimming this fall. That will make busy weeks ahead. Luke is working hard and always seems to have some big project on his plate. Ah, such is the the life in the Canadian Forces. I am making lots of great friends and trying to stay as busy as I can. Looking for a part time job now that I am legally allowed to be driving. Hooray. Having a great time staying home with Kyra and looking forward to all the activities we have planned. Fall is fast approaching and the weather is still nice here. We try to get out everyday for a little while. We're all keeping busy and hope everyone is well. :)
