| Pulaski Jane Nash was born February 24, 1873 in Christian County,Missouri. She married John William Brown on July 2, 1891 in Christian County, Missouri. Together they had eleven children. Pulaski died in child birth, along with her baby boy, on June 19, 1912 in Montgomery County, Kansas. Pulaski's death certificate states her father was William Nash. It states her mother as unknown, however. This narrows it down a little...but William Nash was a rather common name! She was shown living with her uncle, George Nash, in the 1880 census. She shows up on no other records until her marriage in 1891. I suspect Pulaski is the child of William Nash and Mary Jane Simmons, but have little proof. William Nash was probably the brother of George Nash. William's wife Mary (if she is who she seems to be!) had a sister named Pulaski. |
