Story 1:
In the morning we left the hotel for some shopping. It was not decided to go somewhere else, so she took a pair of her more wornout pumps. When passing though the hotel lobby, her one heel turned out to be already somewhat instable but she didn't care since she wanted to buy some new anyhow. Inevitably, her heel didn't make it longer than until the first stopover but unexpectedly this wasn't a big thing for her. She even managed to get it off and later, during a beautiful ride at the coast, she even threw it out of the convertible while driving. There she was just with one shoe and obviously felt a bit excited (what she never does at home).
So I took my chance to get her out of the car to take some pics by getting her into car trouble. I just pulled the handbrake a bit and after a few miles the car lost power and started to smell dangerously. I suggested that the engine could have run out of water and it would be smart to drive closer to the water along the beach. After half a mile, we arrived at the water and stopped. She went out just on her one shoe - what else could she do - and concentrated on the car so that I could take some photos. I even suggested to get the cooling system refilled with water taken in her remaining shoe but she perfered getting cooled down herself. In the later afternoon, we returned to the hotel without buying new shoes and when we crossed the lobby this time, she became quite upset about the people gazing at her uncommon Cinderella outfit.
