My Girlfriend's Cover Sock; by Just_1for_me

I have always had a strong one-shoe fetish, though unlike most people, I have a strong preference for regular tennis shoes, etc. with socks, especially cute and colorful ones. I also prefer when it is present in a long-term situation, as opposed to a temporary loss or shoeplay situation.

The story is really more of an ongoing dream-come-true, and it stems from my amazing girlfriend. She is a almost 20, and a curvy, sexy 5'5" - 120ish with shoulder length sassy dark brown hair and piercing light blue eyes. And her feet are a super-cute size 8. She actually figured out my one-shoe thing on her own with minimal clues and in only a few months. She called me out on it, and I told her all about it... how long I've known, what I do and don't prefer, etc. It turns out that she has always had a thing for her own feet and for people paying them attention, but she had never had a boyfriend who was into it at all. She had never heard of the one shoe thing, but she was open to it, and obviously it gave her the attention to her feet she had always wanted, even if it was in a more unconventional manner. And I do have enough of a standard foot fetish to have no problem treating her feet right in general.

Needless to say, things began to work out nicely for the both of us. She already often wore shoes and socks, usually with a little character to them: low-top converse all-stars (several different colors, some backless) mainly, with tons of different socks of all sizes and types and colors... arglyes, stripes, goofy ones, etc. (and the collection has gotten MUCH larger ever since). At first, she would just take off a shoe (or put one on) when we were alone and getting fiesty, but it didn't take long for her to start enjoying it a little. Her pleasure from it has never stopped growing, and lately, she is catching up to me. She started doing it more often and for longer, in less and less private situations, and she (we?) picked a foot--her left foot--to be the designated shoeless one for every venture. She also starting teasing me by wearing her left shoe crushed down like a slide (with the converse, it is really easy; they are just canvas) sometimes when she was wearing two shoes.

Then she took up a new practice for being outside (which we figured out together) of wearing a second, older "cover sock" in place of a shoe on her left foot to keep her newer cute, sexy socks from getting ruined. Once this practice took off, everything moved to a new level. She was going to school and living in a dorm about 45 minutes from me, and we typically made the trip once each during the week, and then she stayed with me on the weekends. Well after the advent of the cover sock, she started going occasionally anywhere and everywhere with only one shoe on, eventually whether I was there or not. She would go to class, to get food, to the movies, out to dinner, to the store...where ever, and she even started making the trip to come see me with only one shoe, often leaving the other behind completely, leaving her no choice to spend the entire night or weekend with one and only one shoe, no matter where we were going or what we were doing. She has some sort of joint problem in her left big toe that hurts her often, so it became an easy excuse to give everyone else around us as to why she was doing it.

I also have an additional inexplicable love for the socks being layered and/or mismatched (has ANYONE else out there ever even heard of this?), including the addition of colored tights or leg warmers or fishnets. She of course has always been willing to oblige, though most of this has (thus far) been reserved for our private time due to the ridiculous look of it (to anyone but me, that is)--it's a little bit harder to make an excuse as to why you're wearing not only one shoe, but tights, three different socks, and a leg warmer hehe. Still, she has worn for me just about every combination of foot coverings and one shoe for me you could think of, including tennis shoes, a dressy black boot, assorted flats, tights, leg warmers, knee-highs, thigh-highs, fishnets, and of course socks.

She has only recently become comfortable enough with everything to be very obvious about it in public, but nonetheless, she has been out and about in at least blue shoe/red sock combos and similar obvious color contrasts. She has also started using just one of those half-sock toe coverings for her cover sock, which forces her to limp on her tip toe to avoid ruining her good sock underneath, and leaves much of her cute sock exposed. She even recently spent some of an outdoor school trip in pink capri pants in only a pair of white "no-show" ankle socks and one pink tennis shoe. She also told her roommate/good friend that she had a "foot thing" and that she liked wearing one shoe and has done it very casually in her presence even in public ever since (trips to the library, etc). I even have one of her shoes - an old blue converse, that I basically took from her, and she let me keep it. I don't plan on giving it back hehe.

One of the most exciting thing that she has done so far is getting her tattoo. She had always tattoos on her feet. I mildly coaxed her into getting just one (on her left foot, of course). She decided on a bright tourquoise-ish blue star about 2-3 inches across. It is also strategically located above her toes on the outside of the top of her foot, where any shoe including a flip-flop would rub and possibly ruin it. When it was finished at the shop, they wrapped it up, she put her other dark gray and white pattern-striped sock back on and went home carrying her other gray converse. She didn't use it again for almost 2 weeks. This was at the beginning of Thanksgiving holidays, so she went the rest of the week and home and a full week at school without ever putting on a left shoe. And of course, when she came home the second week to see me, she didn't bother bringing any.

Since then, the one shoe/one cover sock look has been casual to her. I would go as far as to say it has become normal lately. And it's definitely always fun. Unless she is wearing flip-flops, she probably wears one shoe almost as often as two, and by the last few months of school, she didn't wear a left shoe to class unless it was raining or she was too tired or lazy to not wear flip-flops. Even when she does wear her second shoe she leaves the back crused down and slips it off whenever she has the chance. And she's starting to like for people to notice more and more. She's getting braver with her combinations, and even coming here and telling the story was mostly her idea. I moved recently, and she is about to come visit me for 10 days. I think she plans on spending much of the trip in only one shoe, and she is even bringing a few single right shoes with her.

I guess it's obvious that I'm a lucky guy. I'm not sure if it would always be a good idea to share this stuff with your significant other, but I hope that this is useful to anyone who has been considering it.
