The relaxing weeks in India had yielded a bumper crop of new compositions. Around the third week of May, the Beatles congregated at 'Kinfauns', George's bunaglow in Esher, Surrey, and taped demo recordings using George's Ampxed four-track machine. Most, though not all, ended up on the Beatles' next LP, the double-set commonly called the 'White Album' but actually titled, simply, The Beatles.
