SPECKLED KINGSNAKE

COLORATION:Speckled Kingsnakes are Black or dark brown with yellow specks.The specks are usualy spaced to one per scale.
RANGE:From southern Iowa to the gulf states, and as far west as Texas, Oklahoma, and Kansas and as far east as Alabama,Tennessee, and Illinois. Speckleds are known to intergrade in the wild with Desert Kingsnakes, Eastern Kings and Black Kingsnakes.
NATURAL HABITAT:Speckled kings live in a wide variety of habitats, including grassland and prairies, woodlands and rocky terrain. They are also known to live in fresh and brackish swampland.
SIZE AND LONGETIVITY:Speckled can grow from around 36" up to around 48". THey are known to live for around 20 years.
NATURAL PREY: Snakes (including venomous species), small reptiles and amphibians, birds, eggs, and small mammals.
