Author's Notes: Hey Ya all! Okay, This one I just had to write ever so badly because I got so many ideas! Did you guys like my other works? Hope so.. Anyways, this story takes place in the R season, when Chibi-Usa shows up. I will use Japanese names. I may or may not use Japanese words, so don't sue. Mamoru and Usagi *did not* break up or fight or whatever fits in that category, and I hope you enjoy. Oh, and this is more according to the Manga, but not everything, It's more of a mix between the two, gomen! *^^*0
Disclaimers: Okay, isn't this a stupid question? Like anyone owns Sailor Moon? Hmm..Let's see Naoko and some other people of the Anime company that I cannot name and uh?.Um..Naoko! Naoko-sama, I admire you, and love your manga! But, I can tell you, I do own this story, and the two old ladies in the park, and before I get people mad with such a frieken long Author's Notes I just had to put that in. Thank you.

Chapter One:

Tsukino Usagi clutched her side in pain. God why did this happen? I should have been smarter..?Her long fingers clasped her sided tightly, trying to prevent the worst of hell. I am so stupid! I should have been more careful!?she slammed her fist on the door she was leaning on. And even worse, I couldn't protect Chibi-Usa or the other senshi! What the hell is wrong with me??she slammed the door again. She leaned her head back on the door and sighed. And I can not tell anyone what has happened. I don't want them to worry for me.?She walked away from the door and went to the phone. There, on the door, where her right shoulder blade had been, and where her left part of her waist was, there were blood stains. She went to her phone and dialed up a number she knew by heart.

“Moshi Moshi, Mizuno Ami speaking,?said the voice on the other line.

“Hey, Ami-chan, It’s Usagi,?said the blonde.

“Oh! Konichi Wa, Usagi-chan! What can I do for you? Homework, Mamoru-san, Chibi-Usa, monster of the day..?#060;p> “Actually Ami, I just wanted to tell you something.?#060;p> “Sure! What is it??#060;p> “Um, Ami, you know how you said we could go out today, ya know for cheese cake or something??#060;p> “Yeah…”

“Well, Ami, I um..?Usagi hesitated for a moment, thinking of an excuse. “I am sick…”

“Sick? How sudden! Are you alright? Do you need any-..?#060;p> “No, Ami, I’m fine. I just might not being hanging out so much because I do not feel very well and um..Just need some rest..?Boy, some lie. “And Ami, just tell the others, okay? And uh, Ami, if Chibi-Usa ever asks you about me, tell her I’m fine okay??#060;p> “Usagi-chan, is something wrong??Usagi froze, her heart stopped.

“No, Ami, nothing wrong at all. I just need some rest and quiet so um, I’ll see you when I feel better I guess..?#060;p> “Okay, but Usagi-chan, if you ever need anything, just call me.?#060;p> “I will! Thank you! Bye.?#060;p> “Bye.?Usagi hung up the phone, putting it back into the reciever. She went to her bed, and lay down, still clutching her side. He closed her eyes and remembered that horrible, horrible night.

“Heheh…Give me your energy!?yelled the droid who was running around in the park, stealing young couple’s energy. Usagi noticed this, and hid behind a tree.

“Moon Crystal Power, Makeup!?she ran over to where the droid was. “Hey you! You can’t go on about taking young people in love’s lives! I, Pretty Girl Soldier Sailor Moon shall punish you in the name of the moon!?#060;p> “Haha! Fool! Love me..Hate me..Rings!?said the droid. Red and pink rings formed from her hands and shot out at Sailor Moon. She dodged the blows, and took out the cutie moon rod.

“Moon..Princess..Hala-.?#060;p> “Fool!?it laughed, and Sailor Moon was rammed into a tree, back just about broken. “Now, I will take the rabbit for myself!?it cackled.

“Moon Princess Hala-..?#060;p> “Shut up!?it said, and fire rings at her once more. Unable to move, Sailor Moon was hit right in the side by one of them. Screaming in pain, she tried to power up the cutie moon rod again, but five shadows appeared.

A rose went to the droid’s feet. “How dare you try to take Chibi-Usa away! I, Tuxedo Kamen shall not permit this!?#060;p> “In the name of Mercury!?#060;p> “In the name of Mars!?#060;p> “In the name of Jupiter!?#060;p> “And in the name of Venus!?#060;p> “We punish you!?#060;p> “Shine Aqua Illusion!?#060;p> “Burning Mandala!?#060;p> “Sparkling Wide Pressure!?#060;p> “Venus Love Me Chain Encircle!?#060;p> “Where’s Sailor Moon??asked Tuxedo Kamen.

“I don’t know, but we’ll have to destroy this thing ourselves,?said Jupiter, about to throw another bolt of lightening. Sailor Moon was laying back facing the tree, clutching her side, crying silently.

‘I..I couldn’t protect her..Or fight…’ she walked as best as she could home.

“So stupid!?she pounded her fist into the mattress. “Stupid! Stupid! Stupid!?she cried, tears streaming down her cheeks.

>Knock! Knock!<

“Who’s there?? (AN: No pun intended) she asked, getting up from the bed, startled.

“It’s me, Usagi,?said a little voice. “Can I come in??#060;p> “Yes, you may.?The little pink-haired girl came in. “What’s wrong, Chibi-Usa? Monsters??

“No, I just want to know if you can help me with something.?#060;p> “Like what??#060;p> “Can you help me bake an apple pie??she asked, her red eyes shining with all glory. Usagi smiled.

‘How can I help the poor thing make apple pie if I’m bleeding to death? I really want to help her, but, my side and back..?#060;p> “Chibi-Usa, I don’t cook very well, but I will help. Who is it for??#060;p> “My Mommy and Daddy. Maybe if I get to see them, I’ll give it to them. So you will help me, right??she asked. Usagi nodded.

“Chibi-Usa,?she began.

“Yes??

“Chibi-Usa, where do you live??she asked. The little girl stared at her feet, and her expression changed.

“I..I don’t know?. I do know..I just..Well??#060;p> “How about an address??#060;p> “I don’t have an address. I live in a huge place with beautiful gardens, and many friends. And me and my parents always go on walks down by the bay or play tag in the gardens. I…” she sounded like on the verge of tears. “I?.I want to go home, Usagi!?she cried, trying to stop her tears. Usagi ran to the little girl, and hugged her lightly with her free hand.

“Chibi-Usa, maybe if you showed us where you live, than we can make you happy again,?she said comfortably. Chibi-Usa froze at the position Usagi was in. She had one arm on her shoulder, and her blue eyes were in a happy, sort of, ‘Be happy, little one?kind of place, and a comforting smile.

‘She’s just like Mommy…’ this thought made her cry even more.

“Usagi! I don’t know how to get back home because..Well, I’m not supposed to!?#060;p> ‘Chibi-Usa got kicked out of her house?!?#060;p> “Did your parents tell you to go away because you were bad??#060;p> ‘Fool! Stupid question!?she wanted to slap herself.

“No! Nothing like that! It’s just that, well?They said I would be safe here, but..Oh! Mommy..Mommy’s?And Daddy told me to go here, in this safe place where no one could get me, and I never saw them again!?she sobbed in her shirt. Usagi, hearing this was terrified.

‘Chibi-Usa was taken here because of the enemy? Than, how? Where does she live??#060;p> “Chibi-Usa,?she began in a comforting voice. “You’ll be safe as long as you are with me, Mamo-chan, Ami-chan, Rei-chan, Mako-chan, and Minako. Okay? As long as you’re with us, you’ll always be safe.?#060;p> ‘Just like Mommy…’

“Thank you..?she was calmer.

“Now, how about that apple pie??#060;p> “Yay! You will help me cook?!?#060;p> “Yeah, but um, Chibi-Usa, I might give your parents food poisoning..?she giggled. “I can’t even boil water.?#060;p> “Oh don’t worry! I remember back home I learned how to make one, and it was good! I ate it, and everyone kept asking me to make more!?she laughed. Usagi smiled.

“Now, Chibi-Usa, you go ahead and get the ingredients, and I’ll be there in a few minutes, okay??#060;p> “Sure!?and the little girl happily skipped down the hallway. Usagi went to the bathroom, taking a fresh shirt and a few hairpins. She took her white school uniform shirt off, and looked at it. On the side where her cut was, there was a huge blood stain she had been trying to hide. And now on her bare skin was the red mess on her side.

‘Oh God…’ she said. ‘I have nothing to clean it with, and I can’t see a doctor, because they’ll want to know what happened, and what am I supposed to tell them? Oh yeah, I was fighting a droid from who the hell knows where, and I was thrown to a tree, paralyzed. Then, it shot rings at me, and I bled to death. The end! Yeah, like that will work…Then they’ll put me after I recover from the medical hospital into a mental hospital. Oh, but I need to clean this before it gets worse! And how can I hide this?!?she asked, lightly touching the bleeding side. She opened one of the drawers to find some wrap-around-bandages that cartoon children usually play nurse or doctor in, and when they use them, they make their “patient?a mummy. She began to wrap it around her waist, and it didn’t hold very well. ‘This will have to do for now.?She washed her hands, and made sure she thoroughly cleaned the one with the blood on it, and put on a clean shirt. She took her school, on, and thanking God it was Friday afternoon, put it in the wash herself, and cleaned it, so her mother wouldn’t get suspicious. She put her hair up into two large buns with no excess running down, and went to the kitchen, where Chibi-Usa was in an apron that was far to large for her, and with all the ingredients out. Usagi giggled at how cute the girl was, and walked over to her.

“Chibi-Usa, that’s too big for you, here put on this one that I used to wear,?she handed her a red one that had a rabbit embodied on the bottom. “Oh thank you! I thought that one would fall off!?she tied it around her waist. Usagi took the large white one, and tied it also around her waist loosely, trying very hard to not interfere with the wound.

“Now, are you ready for some apple pie??she took a spoon, and pretended it was a microphone. Chibi-Usa giggled and nodded. “Let’s get ready to rumble!?She took out her mother’s cookbook, and found an easy recipe on how to bake a simple apple pie.

“Okay, let’s see, where’s the flour??she asked.

“I got it right…here…whoa..this is heavy..?said Chibi-Usa, holding the sack of flour, but kind of walking wobbly because of its weight. “AAAA! Usagi! Catch it!?the sack fell, and before anyone could do anything, some flour dust coming puffing out like baby power out of the tube holes.

“Cough cough cough cough!?they both did, and when the white mess cleared, the two had white all over their faces.

“Oh no! I messed it up! I wish I wasn’t so small!?said Chibi-Usa, trying to pick up the small mess.

“Chibi-Usa…” snickered Usagi. “You’re face…Is all?giggle)..You’re..?she began laughing hysterically, but soon clutched her side, and a few tears came down her cheeks.

“Usagi! Are you alright??she asked.

“I’m fine, just a little pain, nothing really.?She said, getting up form the floor. “But really, look for yourself,?she handed her a bowl, and Chibi-Usa looked at her reflection, and immediately began laughing hysterically as well.

“I look so messed up! But it’s funny!?the two were giggling away, and soon got to work on the apple pie. Usagi helped Chibi-Usa crack the eggs, and peel and slice apples. She helped her measure certain amounts of cinnamon and spice. And they put the crust on, and Chibi-Usa, with her fork made the little mark thingies around the edges, while Usagi made little slits in the top with a knife. She put it in the oven to bake, and they washed dishes. “That as so much fun, Mom- I mean, Usagi..?she said, blushing a bit. “I’m sorry I called you Mommy by mistake. I just miss them, and they are in trouble and everything.?She said, looking at the pot she was cleaning.

“Chibi-Usa, don’t worry, and if you want, call me whatever you want.?#060;p> “How about baka??#060;p> “You have been with Rei too much, haven’t you??she gave her a teasingly dirty look. “She told me lots of stupid Usagi stories, and also how sometimes Usagi as Sailor Moon can not fight.?#060;p> “Oh *really*??she asked, giving her the same look. Chibi-Usa nodded. “Well then, Sailor Mars is going to have her little butt kicked..?Chibi-Usa giggled.

?Thank you so much, Usagi!?she hugged her legs.

“Anytime, Chibi-Usa. Anytime!?she picked the little girl up, and ignored as best as she could the pain in her back. After all, it was minor, in a way, and she could pick her up.

“Thanks so much, Mommy,?she giggled.

>Ding! Dong!<

Usagi, with Chibi-Usa still in her arms, went to the door to get it.

“Hello??#060;p> “Hey Usako!?it was Mamoru.

“Hey Mamo-chan!?she hugged him with one of her arms. “I missed you.?#060;p> “I missed you too..?they lightly kissed, and Chibi-Usa stared at her feet, and then, cried silently.

‘Just like home. Just like when Mommy and Daddy come home sometimes from meetings, it is rarely like this, when they are apart from each other, but..It’s so..just like it…’ the silver tears came down. Mamoru and Usagi noticed this, and asked her what’s wrong.

“Nothing..I just..I miss my home..?she cried silently. “I miss Daddy, and Mommy’s in danger, and so is he, and everyone else there…” she sobbed on Usagi’s injured shoulder. Usagi tried her very best to ignore it, but she immediately put the child down, and rubbed her shoulder a bit. “Did I hurt you??she asked getting worried.

“No..No..Nothing like that…It just…Weather pains..Yup, it will rain soon…Hehe..?she fake smiled, trying to comfort her. The oven rang. “The pie!?she ran to it, and opened the over, taking out the desert they had made. The aroma made Chibi-Usa and Mamoru hungry.

“What’s that? It smells delicious,?he asked.

“Daddy, Mommy and I…” she realized her mistake, and shook her head, scolding herself mentally, I mean, me and Usagi baked an apple pie.?#060;p> “How sweet,?he said, looking at Chibi-Usa, who looked like she was going to cry again. He knelt down before Chibi-Usa, and put a hand to her cheek.

“Chibi-Usa-chan, do not be upset. I do not like to see you cry..?that struck her. It was like a d??vu shock.

“Do not, cry, Usagi. I do not like to see you upset. Here, it is only a small scrape,?said her father, who was in front of her, crouched down. He looked at her scraped knee from running on her home grounds, and put a hand on it, and it disappeared!

“Daddy, how did you-,?#060;p> “Small Lady, your father has the power to heal wounds, so do not cry,?said her mother, giving her a smile. Chibi-Usa smiled at her father, who held her small hand.

“Thank you, Daddy, Mommy. You take such good care of me.?#060;p> “Of course we will, we love you with all our heart,?they said, each holding one on her hands, as they walked into the setting sun

“Daddy..?she said softly. “Mommy…” she hugged Mamoru. “Thank you.?The two smiled at the little girl.

“Okay, now, who wants some pie? Oh! That’s right! I have to try it first to see if I can actually cook, or is it Chibi-Usa that can?? she cut a small slice, and took a bite. After making some funny faces.. “Delicious! Absolutely perfect!?she said, whopping the rest down. Mamoru and Chibi-Usa each took a piece, and took a bite as well.

“Hey! This *is* good!?said Chibi-Usa.

“Now, you are going to go and correct Rei about all the stories she told you because you and me baked a pie. And Sailor Moon is the greatest senshi of all time.?#060;p> “I’m sure Rei will say something back..?said Chibi-Usa, taking another bite.

“Usako, this is really really good. You are going to have to cook for me now,?he said, taking a *third* slice.

“Why you’re very welcome.?#060;p> “Ami told me you were sick today. Is she wrong??#060;p> “Um, I told her I was sick because I was just tired that’s all, couldn’t go to the Cheesecake Factory today, just needed rest. A little tired from school, so I guess I need a better vocabulary list..Ehehe…”

‘Yups, Usagi, you blew it major mungo! You need to think of better excuses!?she disciplined herself.

“So, Chibi-Usa, where do you live??asked Mamoru. Chibi-Usa this time looked at them, and tried her best not to burst into tears again. “Because maybe we can get you there.?#060;p> “I?.I don’t know…But I do now how to get there, I can’t.It’s not safe..?#060;p> “Just tell us everything as you can about your home, okay, Chibi-Usa? We want to see if we can help,?said Usagi. Chibi-Usa nodded.

“I will..?she took her last bite, and sipped her milk. “I’m going to bed now, ‘Kay??#060;p> “MmmHmm…” said Usagi. After Chibi-Usa went to bed, the two could finally talk. “She really misses her parents, whoever they are, and she even calls me mother sometimes.?#060;p> “I want to do something for her, but I don’t know where she lives. Chibi-Usa has something that looks like a house key, but a rather fancy one at that. Like it had a special use for something. Maybe that’s the key to her home.?#060;p> “I saw it too. I just want to examine it, maybe it has the address or something on it. But, I don’t want to take her privacy away or anything. But maybe it is the right choice.?#060;p> “I understand completely. She calls me father sometimes too, and then just breaks down into tears. The poor thing tells me how things remind her of her home. I just want to help her, if I could do anything, but all we know is she is from somewhere we don’t know about, and she knows our identities. She knows she can trust us.?#060;p> “I just feel terrible for the kid. She’s going through so much at the loss of her home and parents, wherever that may be.?She got up out of her chair. “And we know that the enemy is after her, calling her the rabbit.?He said too, following her to Chibi-Usa’s bedroom. Usagi opened the door a fraction so the light wouldn’t disturb her sleep. She was asleep with one of Usagi’s stuffed rabbits under her arm, and Luna P hovering in the air next to her. She looked peaceful and so innocent.

“Mamo-chan, have we just seen this from somewhere before, but like we haven’t experienced it or something??she asked.

“You know, I have the same exact feeling, Usako.?Usagi walked over to her nightstand, and saw the golden chain with the key on it taken off and put neatly on the table. Usagi clasped the key, and slipped out of the room, unknown to them, Luna P following. Usagi and Mamoru sat back down in the kitchen, and studied the key.

“Look, at the top, it says something in tiny gold letters,?said Usagi, showing him the key. Mamoru squinted at the letters, trying his best to read it.

“Se. That’s all I see, an S and an E. Do you have a magnifying glass??#060;p> “I think so, hold on.?She went to the bathroom, and opened a drawer, and sure enough there was a magnifying glass in there for splinters and pieces of glass stuck in your skin so they could see. She brought it back into the kitchen. “Here,?she handed it to him. He put it over the key.

“Serenity. That’s what is says. And look, there is an emblem of some sort and these tiny golden crescent moons are on the pink crystals over here, look,?he handed the objects to her.

“Could this have to do with me or the past maybe? Maybe she found this somewhere where she came from? Or maybe Luna gave it to her. But that is bizarre, like this has something to do with me. Maybe it belonged to my mother, and she ended up with it somehow,?she said, looking at it more. “Do you recognize this??Mamoru shook his head no.

“Strange though. Maybe it was the key to the Moon palace, and she just has it some how. We should ask Luna, where is she??#060;p> “Control room. She’s trying to find out more on the enemy.?#060;p> “We have to ask her soon.?#060;p> “Lady??Said a voice that sounded mechanical. Usagi turned around, and Luna P was floating above them. “Lady?Lord??it said.

“That..thing…talks..?said Usagi, freaking out.

“How strange..?#060;p> “Lady?Lord?Small Lady..Time..Home..?it chanted.

“Could that have to do with this??he asked.

“Yes..yes..?it chanted. “No go home…No go home..Danger Danger…Mother..Mother..?#060;p> “Chibi-Usa, you mean??asked Usagi.

“Yes..Yes..Mother danger…Go here..Go here..?it chanted.

“Why??he asked.

“Danger..danger..?#060;p> “Of Dark Moon??#060;p> “Yes..Yes..Much danger..much danger..?#060;p> “What about her parents??he asked.

“Much more danger..In danger..In crystal..Mother..In crystal..Lady in crystal..Lord in sorrow...Small Lady here...safety..safety.."

“Small Lady must be referring to Chibi-Usa,?said Usagi. “I wonder who her parents are. Mother in crystal and father in sorrow, and Chibi-Usa safe here. That’s what we now know.?Luna P kind of buzzed out, and went back to Chibi-Usa’s room. “How strange. Maybe the enemy attacked there, and she came here.?#060;p> “I completely agree. So now, all we have to do is find her home, help her parents and everything will work out I guess. You know, when I take her hand, like I said before, I see images of some city being destroyed.?#060;p> “Maybe that’s her home.?#060;p> “But I have never seen any place like that. Now even the biggest houses in all of Japan and Asia and the world is as big as that. It is so strange, like something happened there.?Usagi nodded. “All I want to know is how we can help somehow.?She nodded again.

>Ding Dong!<

As Usagi got up to get the door, something totally unexpected happened. The bleeding side had seemed to just burst again, and give off more of her blood, and Usagi fell on her knees in pain, clutching her side. “Usako?! Are you alright??asked Mamoru who crouched down next to her. Usagi, trying to fight her tears, mumbled an “I’m fine.?And went to the door, not letting her hand off her side.

“Hello, Usagi-chan!?it was her mother, and sadly, she was with father as well.

“Hey Mom!?she hugged her lightly.

“Hello, Mrs. Tsukino-san,?said Mamoru, who shook hands with her.

“Oh Mamoru-san! Stop being so formal! Call me Ikuko.?She shook his hand with her free one, she was carrying groceries. And then, came the Darth Vader of the house when it came to boyfriends.

(insert that DUN DUN DUN! Music, and lightening)

“Oh…Hello?Dad??said Usagi, who was thinking of what to say.

“Usagi.?His voice was strict. “Who is this? What did you do? Why is he here??#060;p> “Dad, this is Chiba Mamoru, my boyfriend. He’s a high school student at Azubu High, and hopes to one day be a doctor.?She showed him to her father.

“High school, eh??

‘Oh great..?they thought.

“He’s too old for you, now get out of my house!?Ikuko banged him on the head with a frying pan, and dragged the unconscious father into the kitchen where she blindfolded his eyes and covered his mouth with cloth as well.

“Stay here as long as you like, Mamoru-san,?smiled Ikuko.

“Thank you, Ikuko-san, but I have stayed here for awhile, and I need to get back home.?#060;p> “Come anytime as you like, and one day, I want to see the two of you walk down that aisle and give me children!?Usagi and Mamoru blushed at the last four words, and Usagi took him out down the stairs.

“Good night, Mamo-chan,?she said.

“Good night, Usako,?and he pulled her in for a kiss, and Usagi was still clutching her side while they did. Mamoru said good bye once more, and drove in his car home. Usagi closed the door, and went to her room, and brought the time key with her. Usagi sat down on her bed, and studied the gold key.

“I better return this to her,?she said, and went to Chibi-Usa’s room, returning the key. Usagi walked to her room, and sat down, taking her hand off her side. “Damn. More than last time, and the time before that. What the hell am I supposed to do about this??she cursed softly, looking at the bloodstained hand. “And my shirts are in the wash now, I should go take them out and dry.?She everything she could with her clothing, and then went to the bathroom. “What am I supposed to do? I can’t tell anyone about this otherwise I could never escape from my room, and I don’t want them to hover over me with antidotes and everything. Yeah, I know they care for me, but I just?I don’t know..?he sighed, looking at her now bare waist, examining the cut. She took a quick shower, and tried as best as she could to clean the wound, but only flinched at the cool water, and decided to forget about it. Usagi got in bed, finding herself very tired all of a sudden. Realizing that it could be what she thought it was, she ran down the hallways to the living room, and on one of the bookshelves was her father’s old college books, and one of them was Human Anatomy. She went to the index and fumbled around.

‘B..Back…Back proablems…Bl..Bl..Where’s bl? Aha! Blood!?she took the book back to her room, and went to the page it had information on. ‘Blood loss..Blood loss…Here it is!?she found another page on injuries and blood loss. “Blood loss, if you lose a lot of blood a day from a serious injury or accident, you could die. Drinking as much water as possible and going to a blood bank is what you can do to get more of what you need. Also, resting is good, and not doing much exercise or any active activity is also recommended. Take caution as to what you do, because major blood loss can be fatal and lead to sudden death. Symptoms are: Excessive fainting, napping, sleeping, drowsiness, light-headedness. If you are doing any of these things, notify medical assistance IMMEDIATELY.?She read aloud, getting a bit scared of her death coming so soon before even marrying her lover. Usagi but a hair ribbon on that page, and put it on her desk to read tomorrow morning. She got back into bed, praying that she would be alright.
