"Just Ask The Lonely" ( Part ! ) You think it is better being by youself, because of the hurts and pains you endured, and, now what is left when no love walks through your doors! Was it grief in the chores? What was so difficult to touch has now become impossible to feel! Memories fades away with time; and, is never renewed with just thoughts of the way it used to be. And, the heart is an empty chamber, with the echoes of yesteryears gone by! Screams of crying sounds loudest in an emptiness! And, they last longest in a vacuum! Many days will be spent asking why! As a reply in your mind, being rewound, time and time again, without the answers coming forth, leaving only questions unanswered! Prance through your wide open spaces of lonliness; and, sift out the pride that caused the house to be empty; and, pray that love will find you before you fade away into nothing, as a destitute and lonely hermit in your solitude! Meanwhile your tears go unnoticed in the sea of blue that engulfs those who are alone! Thinking back to the time when there was another; and, turning to remembrance of years gone by, as days of joy enter into your thoughts! Thoughts have no substance to touch, leaving you more empty than before. But unimportant as they were when they were; let us not grieve anymore, O heart! (C) Xmeah ShaEla'ReEl |

Reflections of Love Love is the fuel that propels us through life It is the fundamental essence of our being As necessary to our survival as food or air. There is no escape from love It is above and below It precedes and follows It is within and without It is the invisible thread which binds mankind. Every action, every emotion, stems from love Respect, understanding, tolerance and compassion Are all manifestations of the love we feel for others Self Respect, pride, dignity and contentment Are the measure of love we feel for ourselves To love oneself is not to be vain or conceited For the denial of this love will result in anxiety, fear and self doubt Hatred is not the opposite of love, merely a by-product of it It is the weapon our 'self love' uses to protect itself But it is a self destroying weapon and should be discarded as such Hatred should never be considered as equal in power to love for it never will be Hatred can be overcome, Love cannot Hatred locks our heart, Love is the key which opens it There is no such thing as 'true love', for love, in any form, is truth We cannot be lovelorn, loveless or lonely It is simply our perception of love that is lost Love itself is ever present Love is given freely and returned tenfold It is a sacred gift that should be treasured and nurtured It is meant to be learned from, relied on, drawn from and acted upon Love is a universal force that flows around us, through us, and from us You are love I am love And love is everlasting (c) Kim Bishop 1998

"Just Ask the Lonely" ( Part 2 ) Memories sinks deep, deep in the darkest corner of the room, where faded images appear for but a moment! O if you could only live in a memory where your body cannot go! Self, me and I are never good companions. A smile; and, a slight laugh at the remembrance of the joke that was told! And, now they fade with the lonliness of the present, and reality of sitting upon the edge of the bed alone; and, there is no waiting for the everlasting love that will never come your way! The sympathy of a friend does not comfort, when the touch is missing! And, the touch is scarcely remembered! You would walk away from yourself; but, you are inseperably connected to that which is planted deeply in your heart! O how gross is the misery of the nights so lonely; but, it never appeared like that in your thoughts when being alone seemed so enticing. Running waters flow together; and, the salt of the sea water does not seperate itself from that which it is part of! Why have you gone in the direction of destroying yourself; and, was it not in your heart the words of the Lord, telling you that it is not good for the man to be alone? Swim in tears where there used to be cool waters of love! Waters flow; and, so goes the sea, on and on, filled with so much life; but, what is life without love? Patience was not the virtue that was looked upon as being important to mention! O how you hurry; and, O how you start to worry!

"Just Ask the Lonely" ( Part 3 ) Stargazing filling your eyes; but, watching stars never makes one wise! Wishful thinking brings not again that which is lost due to lack of attention! O how I cared for that which would last forever, but, would never appear! True Love is so hard to find; but, in this I found joy, in that I gave it my best shot! Remember me again when you are in your right mind! I watched a bird fly to the ground for a morsel of bread, with the fear of the cat running through his head!
