Distinguishing features - His right hand is made of a special metal alloy that allows him to grab bullets in mid-air. He admits he had the alloy worked into his hand so that it acts as armour. His favorite method of dealing with his enemies is by slashing them down with his huge sword.

At 102 kg, he is much heavier than his frame suggests but that's because of his armoured hand. He loves fried egg rice and is not keen on legumes, celery and braised carrots. Likes turquoise and his favorite phrase is "death in one blow". The author has commented that his hair is the most difficult thing to draw about Akutabai and says that although he had initially changed the style of Akutabia's hair to make things easier for himself, on retrospect, the old hairstyle was probably easier to draw. I didn't scan it in but it really looks like Schu's.

CT Smith

Date of birth = 25 September

Distinguishing features - Wears glasses and is generally smiling, seems to be the more analytical brighter of the pair but at the same time seems to be more unemotional and cold. Appears to like bombs?

Kit = The silent quirky gunman with a past? Cool, just like Vash …

CT Smith is Akutabai's partner and of the characters, the least is known about him. Wearing a suit and carrying a briefcase, he looks like a civil servant. In the author's view, CT is more like a London banker.

He doesn't have any special skills but just seems to do everything better than anyone else … how envious. Seems to like Meat broth and jelly (?) and doesn't dislike anything in particular. He likes using his left hand to shoot but is in reality ambidextrous and can shoot equally well with either hand.

John Elwood Shepherd

Description - Very cute but skilled little boy. Fights with knives and can pickpocket like nobody's business, eventually even managed to stiff Akutabai. :D

Of all the characters, he is probably the most stable and normal person. He cares for his sister, is handy at household chores and is careful with spending (almost to being a little stingy). Does not have any preference to foods and is proud of it. Just to let you know, according to the author, he had used Elwood which is the name of the director of an American record company as he thought it was very appropriate for John's character. There is a big star on most of John's clothes, the brand symbol of [Big Fat Star Jack]. It is John's favorite brand as it is cheap and well made.

Wolfgangina Lalla Getto

Description - As a child, she had innocently clamoured her brother for a ring hanging from the old tree near their house not realising the ring was a Ring of the Dead. As a result, the demon within the ring now resides in her brother's head, rendering him comatose. Shocked when he had simply fallen off the tree after he had pulled out the ring, she tried to get him to a doctor. Unfortunately (or not really since there is almost no cure), she was prevented entering the hospital because an important politician was passing through the only road to the hospital. Now a reporter and a "protector" of the town, she seeks a cure for her brother, Emilio. However, it looks like only Akutabai knows the person who can actually pull it off.

Hailing from Ciudad Iglesias, Bexaio, she spares no punches when it comes to bullies. Still, she believes that people are generally good. Giving one a sistery feel, she is also optimistic and cheerful. When she was in college, she was the "queen" of the school. Loves to eat her mother's tomato and chicken porridge and dislikes crocodiles and cable cars. Likes Mileil Turgot's S.R.B and z-chro-s' Master of Adventure clocks. By the way, her measurements are 101cm, H.
