These are the awards that I used to give out. Yes, past tense. Due to the amount of applications and my busy schedule, it's basically impossible for me to continue this program. I may restart this program in the far future, which is why I'm retaining this page. You can see all of the awards I gave and please check out the winners pages, there's some great pages there.
Requirements: that I judged on
- in English, or at least have an English version. I have to understand what I'm reading and English is the only language I know well enough.
- Consistent color scheme. Don't make every page different. Sometimes it makes people wonder if they're still on the same page.
- Readable color scheme. Example of what not to do: white background, yellow text, neon green links, etc. And make sure the font size is readable, too.
- Good content. Not just a page of links, your site must have something useful.
- Load time. If it takes too long to load, I get bored. I do make exceptions for pages with really excellent content that are worth waiting for.
- No drugs, sex, porno, beer, cigarettes, etc. Must be an viewable by all ages.
- WORKING LINKS AND IMAGES. This is a big one. How can I judge your page if I can't get to it? And I just don't like those broken images.

 Dove of Peace Award This is for all those pages that show a lot of compassion and understanding for all races/species. |
 Sheer Elegance Award You know the pages, the ones with flowing fonts and lots of angels and flowers. This is an award for those pages that have excellent design and appearance. |
 Award of Beauty This award is for pages that are beautiful, whether in appearance or content. |
 Best of the Spring I will pick 3 winners of this award from all the winners (of any award) from March, April, or May. You can only apply specifically for this award in those months. |
 Best of the Summer I will pick 3 winners of this award from all the winners (of any award) from June, July, and August. You can only specifically apply for this award in those months. |
 Best of the Fall I will pick 3 winners of this award from all the winners (of any award) from September, October, and November. You can only apply specifically for this award in those months. |
 Best of the Winter I will pick 3 winners of this award from all the winners (of any award) from December, January, and February. You can only apply for this award specifically in those monthsr. |
 Best of the Year You cannot apply for this award. Of the 12 seasonal winners each year, I'll choose the one that is the best in my opinion and present them with this award - only one. |
 Sounds of Music Award This is for pages that have musical content, such as Midi's, mp3's, or .wav's to download, musicians, bands, or whatever, as long as it has to do with music. |
 Brings A Smile Award This award is for pages that make you smile and make you laugh, whether with jokes, funny stories, comics, or anything else humorous. |
 Big Heart Award This is an award I give out to pages with lotsa love. Since this cannot be applied for, it's very select and an honor to get. |
You can apply for one of these awards, but I decide which one you win. For example, you apply for a gold award, but your site is actually bronze level, then you'll get the bronze site award (that goes for the above awards, too. If you apply for the music award, but your page doesn't fit that category, I'll choose award what I deem appropriate). Also, winners of these awards below still qualify for the seasonal and best of year awards.
 Site of Gold Award This is for sites that meet and go beyond all of the requirements. A site must be truly outstanding to win this award. |
 Site of Silver Award This is for sites that meet all of the requirements, but don't necessarily go beyond them. Great, but not outstanding. |
 Site of Bronze Award This is for sites that meet most of the requirements, but not all of them, sites that are pretty darn good, but not great. |
 Honorable Mention Award This is for those sites that don't quite qualify for the bronze award, but are still good and worth seeing. |
