Just Right
i sleep in a twin sized bed
i always have and probably
always will.
Just the right size to contain
the empire of my dreams,
the nocturnal oceans of sleep.
A rectangular chunk of space
set apart for my black solitude,
a dark peace, the midnight worry.
This bed belongs to me,
from head to toe i fit perfectly;
this bed is already crowed with
my past, present, and future;
and i will not share it...
