i was looking at my grades and yeah, they are nice...on
paper...and i'm sure people would kill to be able to have
them...ok stay with me before u gag, i'm going somewhere with this...the point
is i can't honestly say i'm proud of my achievements...i have no
emotional investment in them...they were just something to do...something the
world thinks that i should be doing...did i learn anything materially
worthwhile in class, sure...but the material has its
limitations...

i learned the most not in a classroom from my science professors, but from the
people in class and the friends i made during those four years, they are
the true teachers who gave me actual knowledge of the human spirit and human heart.

listen to your friends
don't interrupt
be sincere
be patient
remember to ask how their day was
and make sure you have enough time to hear everything
try to give undivded attention
a smile and a hug are immensely powerful
its ok to be different
wasting time talking with a friend is never a waste of time
dancing can make things instantly better
friends really care
