The Dreamers Dream Come True

    This fan fiction is dedicated to a special friend whom I will love for
    a long time, until I die, even if he forgets all about me I hope he'll
    always remember a girl in the state of Az loves him dearly! I love
    you Heero_Yuy. From Relena_Peacecraft I'll always remember you
    and I'll get to you someday!.

    A fine and petite young woman sat in front of her computer screen,
    wearing her daily attire. Her eyes burned from looking into the
    screen for so long. She was searching, searching for someone she
    hadn't been with ever since the war ended. It had been four years
    since the war between Oz and the Colonies was fought. She
    clicked and clicked and, with sweat dripping down her face, she
    finally found what she was looking for. A picture appeared on the
    blue screen. It filled the whole room with a vibrant light as she stared
    at the image of a boy.
    The picture was of a young man,and the look of that boy put a leap of
    joy in the young girl's heart. The picture was a recent photo of a
    brown haired boy with elegant blue eyes that the girl could look into
    for all eternity. He wore a green tank top, and under the photo was the
    young man's name......Heero Yuy.

    "Yo Heero!" Duo called out to his pal.
    "Yeah? What is it?" The two young boys were walking down the
    crowded streets of L2 colony. The parks were filled with smiling
    children and people living peacefully. After the war, Heero had no
    where else to go, so Duo asked Heero to live with Hilde and him.
    "Wow, it's such a nice day." Duo stretched his arms out and placed
    them behind his head with his elbows extended high.
    "Yeah, it is." Heero stopped in front of a park bench and sat down.
    Duo sat next to him and crossed his legs. The two were quiet for a
    while, until Duo looked at his watch.
    "Woah, we're late for the meeting."
    The two best buds got up and walked down the darker side of the
    colony, the side that no colonists would ever visit. It was a base
    that was used for the military protection of the colony. The base
    was about 9 miles away from the peaceful population.
    Duo and Heero walked to a 54 foot white stained door and
    knocked on the surface 4 times, one knock after another. The door
    opened slowly, and there stood the old friend who was smiling big.
    "So Howard, what's up?" Duo exclaimed.
    "Follow me and you will find out." Howard escorted the two pilots
    into the bunker of the huge massive building. What the two young
    men saw next was outstanding.
    "My Gundam!" Duo ran up to the tall gigantic mobile suit,
    looked straight up, and examined his Gundam Deathscythe.
    "Wow, he looks good, Howard." Heero walked up to Wing Zero and
    put his hand on the polished metal of the Mobile suit that made him
    the way he is.
    "It's been 3 years. How did you find them?" Heero looked at
    Howard with a stern look.
    "Well, I found the plans to rebuild them and I found them in the
    bottom of the ocean." Howard looked at the two Gundam pilots as
    they both exchanged glances.
    "What's wrong, you two?" Howard sensed something was wrong.
    "It's just that now that we haven't been pilots anymore, we have
    realized there is peace in this colony." Heero replied.
    "Yeah, and I've even got stiff neck here to have a bit of fun." Duo
    snickered, as Heero glared at him for the remark.
    "Thanks for repairing them Howard. We'll never know when we'll
    need them once again." And with that said the two pilots shook
    Howard's hand and exited the big building.

    The young woman printed up the address where she could locate
    Heero Yuy. She placed the piece of paper into her bag and
    went outside, where her friend and butler were waiting for her.
    "Thank you Miss Noin and Phagun." She hugged them both and
    boarded her personal shuttle.
    "Good Luck. You'll find him. I know it!" Noin waved at the small shuttle
    and pondered to herself, "Maybe I should have gone with her."
    In the shuttle, the young woman stared into the deep blue eyes of
    the photo and her eyes filled up with tears.
    "What if he doesn't remember me?" Those words wandered in her
    head, and it was terrifying. Her heart started to ache.
    "We haven't been in contact for so long! What if he doesn't even love
    me?" She looked up ahead and then smiled.
    "He'll remember me. I'm just nervous, that's all." She looked outside
    of the shuttle and saw the shining, vibrant stars. She looked down
    and saw that they were approaching L1. She sat up and looked out
    to watch the ground get closer and closer. She stood up and
    clenched the photo to her heart.
    "It's time." She exited her shuttle and walked down the ramp. She
    was looking down at her small feet, and when she looked up, she was
    looking down a barrel of a gun.
    "Well, well, fancy seeing you here." The assaulter was wearing a
    black trench coat and the hood hid his face. He harshly grabbed
    ahold of her arm and pushed her into a black Cadillac. There were a
    few more men in the car. She looked at them and gasped.
    "So you're the ruler of the peaceful Sac Kingdom? I need you to sign
    this paper so we can attack the colonies. They have been a menace
    to the Earth for quite some time now."
    Her eyes glared at the piece of paper, then she turned her head
    away.
    "No, I will not have you start more wars." The man slapped her in
    the face and smiled big.
    "We'll see about that." The Cadillac drove off into the distance with
    not a single trace.

    Duo was looking at Heero when they were sitting on a park bench.
    Heero was deep in thought. His eyes were serious and focused.
    Duo wafted his right hand in front of Heero's face.
    "Hello! Duo calling Heero. L1 to Heero!" Heero blinked a couple of
    times, then looked at Duo.
    "What do you want?" Heero asked quietly.
    "What was the deal back there? Why did you turn Wing Zero
    down?" Heero looked at Duo and replied distinctly.
    "It has been 4 years since the wars ended, and if we bring the
    Gundam's back now, we will have to fight once again to restore
    peace. I find that we have peace now, so we don't need the
    Gundams to be seen until they are needed once again. Then I will
    be reunited with Zero to fight for peace." Duo was dumbfounded, as
    he had never heard such a speech from Heero.
    "Wow! You're my inspiration!" Duo started clapping. Heero glared
    evilly at Duo.
    "Jerk." Heero stood up and walked back towards the direction of
    home. Duo got up and ran after him.
    "I'm serious, that was wonderful!" Duo found himself catching up
    with Heero, who was standing still and looking at the huge TV
    screen on the big building that sat in the middle of the colony.
    "Yo Heero, what's wrong?" Suddenly Duo heard a voice over the
    loud speaker.
    "Attention colonists of L1, I have the ruler of the peace-filled Sac
    Kingdom in my custody. I am looking for a Heero Yuy and I want
    him to report to the junkyard in 5 hours or the lovely princess will
    perish by bloodshed." Heero was standing in the streets. He
    looked at Duo and replied, "Mission Accepted."
    Duo nodded and started running for the huge
    building where his old acquaintance was waiting to be used once
    again. Heero ran with Duo and they knocked on the big white steel
    door 4 times, and it once again opened to reveal Howard.
    "They're waiting for you in the back." Heero and Duo walked to the
    bunker and stood near their Gundams. Duo looked up at his
    Gundam and smiled.
    "Well buddy, we have to get serious now." Duo hopped into his
    Gundam and switched it on. All the lights flickered and Duo sat
    back in his seat, starting to smile devilishly. The excitement was
    too much for the young soldier. He burst out into a loud yell.
    "Yahhhhhhhhhoooooo!!!!!!" Heero hopped into Wing Zero and
    started it up. He sat back in his seat for a while, thinking to himself.
    *Relena....why have you come back?...I'm not ready to tell you.*
    Heero's thoughts were interrupted.
    "Hey Heero, you ready to whoop some butt?" Heero smiled at the
    enthusiastic pilot and replied, "Yeah, let's get them buddy."
    Duo was surprised. Heero had never
    called Duo his buddy. He shrugged his shoulders and flew out of
    the big building into the big blue sky.
    In the junkyard, the men had restrained Relena to an old car seat with
    duct tape and had gagged her with an old interior they had ripped out of an
    old Datsun.
    "Now, Miss Relena Peacecraft, we'll see that you sign this
    permission ticket. I will become the new Oz leader, and I will make
    peace with the Colonies once and for all." Relena looked at the
    man in the face and glared. He slapped her across her face and
    laughed.
    "I'm sure someone will come for you!" The man turned his back to
    Relena and walked away. She sat there, tied up and sore from all
    the abuse. She pondered in her mind.
    *Will he come for me, does he know how I feel?* Tears formed in
    her blue sapphire eyes. *He has to come, he has to remember.*
    The man returned to the spot where he had left the terrified young
    Relena. He held a gun to her throat and smiled cheaply. He
    indicated for the other men to take the gag off. They took the gag
    off and Relena took a deep breath.
    "Now sign this!" The dark man put the piece of paper in her lap.
    She looked at it and read it.
    I, Relena Peacecraft, hereby sign this permission for the Dark
    Barons to take control over the Earth and the colonies to surrender to
    Oz under their new leader, Mike Rawson. And also for the Gundam
    pilots to surrender them selves. I think this will maintain the peace
    we have for a longer time period.

    Relena looked at the Man and glared.
    "I will never sign this! You can forget trying! I would rather die then
    betray those I love!" She turned her head away from him. He raised
    his hand up to slap her when he heard his look-out yell.
    "Mike! There is a Gundam approaching! It doesn't seem to be
    Wing Zero!"
    The Gundam flew over the junkyard several times. Mike picked
    Relena up and tossed her into the control room, the controls to the
    smasher and grinder. She hit the ground hard and was lying there
    on the seat she had been tied to when she saw something fall in
    front of her face. It was a space suit like the one she wore when
    she saw Heero leave for the battlefield to fight her brother, Zechs.
    She felt the seat move as it was put up in its upright position. She
    felt a warm hand grab her hands, and she was free. She turned to
    thank her Hero. She locked eyes with the one responsible.
    "Heero.....you came.." Heero looked at Relena and spoke.
    "Put this suit on. And follow me." Suddenly, the Gundam
    Deathscythe flew over head and was followed by two Aries.
    Heero took Relena's hand and put her into Wing Zero. He led her
    to the back and put her between two poles, then ripped off the straps
    on his seat and tied Relena down, nice and secure.
    "There. You'll have to hold on tight, this is going to get bad." Relena
    smiled and looked at the seriousness in Heero's eyes.
    "Thank you Heero!" Relena looked at the sides of the poles and
    thought to herself,
    *Will he ever know how much I truly love.......* The next thing she
    knew, she was lip to lip with the love of her life. He wrapped his
    arms around her waist and pulled her close to him. She was lost
     in heaven. Heero had a song going through his head as he
    was lost in the emotions they shared.

    * Whenever sang my songs... on this stage.. On my own...
    whenever said my words....wishing they would be heard...I saw you
    smiling at me, was it real or just my fantasy...you'd always be there
    in the corner...of this tiny little bar... My last night here with
    you...same old songs, just once more...my last night here for
    you.....maybe yes maybe no.......I kinda liked it your way....how you
    shyly placed your eyes on me...did you ever know....that I had
    mine....on you?*

    As their lips parted, Relena smiled and Heero looked serious
    again, but it was a serious that Relena understood.
    "Are you ready Relena? You ready to live for each other?" Relena
    smiled and looked into Heero's eyes.
    "I have been living for you for 4 years, and now I have you." Heero
    looked at her and smiled.
    "We better get ready." Heero gave Relena one more kiss and
    jumped into his seat. He noticed that his straps were not there and
    looked back at Relena and smiled. He pushed the start button and
    Wing Zero switched on. He pulled back on the control, and he was
    airborne. He received a transmission from the Deathscythe.
    "About time you get her out. How is she?"
    "She's fine. Duo, we need to destroy all these mobile suits."
    "Yeah, I've gotten 4 of them already."
    "Is that all??!?" Heero was snickering under his breath.
    "Give me a break! I helped you on your rescue mission.........hey...is
    that lipstick you're wearing??" Heero touched his lips. Relena smiled
    shyly and looked down. Heero looked at the monitor.
    "Are we going to fight or socialize??"
    "Ok let's get then.......good job, Heero." Heero couldn't help but
    smile.
    The new terrorists, who called themselves the Black Barons, were
    attacking the Gundams. The battle was intense. Heero was moving
    his Gundam swiftly and like a pro. It was amazing. Relena was
    thrown back and forth. She hit each pole. She knew she was going to
    have a hard time tomorrow, but she didn't care-- she was in love. Her
    mind was set on one thing and one thing only. Heero flew up high
    and met up with the leader of this new organization. His mobile suit
    was fast and agile. Heero pin pointed every last move it made. He
    was fast, but Heero was smart. He flew down really fast to the
    ground and pulled up before hitting the ground. Relena was jerked
    hard, and she yelled out in pain. Heero pulled his Gundam upright
    and landed on the ground.
    "We lost him for a while." Heero got up from his seat and went to
    check on Relena in the back.
    "You okay, Relena?" Relena looked up at Heero and nodded her
    head.
    "Yeah, I'm just fine." Heero put his arms around her waist and pulled
    her close to him. He gave her a longer kiss than before and had his
    tongue enter her mouth to make the kiss more passionate and
    pure. They were both so touched, tears ran down Relena's
    cheek. As they parted, Heero wiped the tears away and smiled at
    her.
    "Let's finish this war once and for all." Heero jumped into his seat
    and flew up high into the air. He met up with Deathscythe, which
    had a couple of damage. H realized that they weren't alone.
    Heavyarms and Sandrock flew up and greeted Heero.
    "Hey Heero, long time." Trowa shouted.
    "Let's get this show on the road!" Duo said with such energy.
    "Ok, ok Mr. God of Death, let's not get too carried away, remember
    there are people on this colony." Quatre replied with a worried
    voice. "So let's go!" Quatre was encountered by 3 Aries. He
    maneuvered so perfectly and had them in his trap. He threw his
    swords and destroyed them. Trowa had a slightly different
    situation. He was hit in the back and flung forward and shot the 5
    Aries down. Duo was in an all out assault, one after the other the
    pieces of the suits were flinging everywhere and he was enjoying
    every minute of it. Heero was focused on destroying one of the
    suits. He was in hot pursuit of the suit that contained the man who
    tried to take his love away from him. He moved really fast and the
    Zero system kicked in and he was in an all out rage. Relena didn't
    know what to do. She called out to him and there was no response.
    She gripped the poles as she felt a sudden jolt and she was hit
    hard against the pole to her right. She felt her shoulder burn with
    pain. Heero flew fast and rammed into the suit.
    The suit grabbed ahold of the Gundam and pulled it down with it.
    The two mobile suits hit the
    ground with full force and Heero was flung out of his seat and
    smashed against the hard steel. He flung into the
    control pad and laid still as the Gundam laid on the hard ground in
    the middle of a field of flowers.
    Relena looked up when the Gundam was still. She looked over
    to Heero and gasped. She tried to free herself from the strong grip
    of the restraints put on her by Heero. She kicked and screamed
    and tears ran down her cheeks. She felt helpless, she couldn't do
    anything, she couldn't get to him! She pulled her arm really hard and
    violently. She heard a snap and screamed out in pain. Her
    shoulder was dislocated from the hit she had received in the battle
    earlier. she looked down and saw Heero's chest moving up and
    down slowly.
    "He's alive." Just then, she heard yelling outside the Gundam's
    walls.
    "Hey Heero? You ok bud?" Duo stepped up and tried to pry the
    Gundam open, he gripped under the flap and pulled with all his
    might. The hard cold metal was cutting into his slender fingers.
    Finally he got it opened. He rushed in and looked at Heero who
    was bloody all over, and then he looked at Relena who was teary
    eyed.
    "Get him out of here Duo, get him help." Relena sobbed and
    sobbed. Duo stood up and took out his gun and aimed it at the
    pole where the strap was tied. He pulled the trigger and Relena
    was released. She fell to her knees and looked at Duo.
    "Please Duo, go get help." Duo helped Relena to her feet.
    "Quatre has already gone with Trowa. Don't worry, everything will
    be fine... I promise." Relena hugged Duo and sobbed in his arms.

    The three Gundam pilots were getting impatient and Duo trotted
    around the hospital's waiting room. Suddenly, the doors opened
    and Relena walked out of the emergency room. She was faint and
    had a blue splint on her arm which went all the way around the back
    of her neck and wrapped her arm. Quatre jumped up and smiled.
    "You're okay!"
    "Yeah, just a little weak from the whipping."
    "Yeah, you sure took a beating and you keep on ticking!" Duo
    joked. Relena smiled then turned to the doctor behind her.
    "Can I go see Heero?" The doctor looked into her eyes which were
    glazed over.
    "Sure, go right ahead young lady. He's in room 234." Relena smiled
    and looked at the others.
    "Well, we better get going. I think Hilde would be worried about me
    by now." Duo grabbed his black coat and slipped it over his red
    shirt. "Good luck Rel."
    "Yeah, Trowa and I have to finish our report for college. Bye, Miss
    Relena."
    "Good-bye guys, and thank you!" Relena hugged every one of the
    pilots and turned away, heading to room 234.
    "That is one lucky guy." Duo snickered and walked out the hospital
    with the others.
    Relena stopped in front of the door 234, and thought to herself.
    *This is where our new lives start Heero, I'll always be with you.*
    Relena knocked on the door gently and she herd a response.
    "Come in......" Relena opened the door and saw Heero laying on
    the white hospital bed.
    "Relena......." Heero tried to sit up, but the pain was too much for
    him. Relena ran to his side and slipped her hand into his. There
    was a moment of dead silence as the two looked deep into each
    others eyes. Heero smiled and brushed her bangs out of her face.
    "I'm glad your okay, Relena." Heero finally spoke. Relena smiled.
    "I'm glad you came for me, Heero." Relena started to cry.
    "Relena, don't cry." He tried again to sit up, but pain pushed him
    back down. He raised his injured arm up and wiped her tears
    away. He felt a jolt of pain creep up his spine and he laid back in
    pain. Relena gripped his hand tighter with her good hand and
    kissed his hand. She sat on a chair next to his hospital bed and
    held his hand as she started to sing.
    " Whenever sang my songs... on this stage.. On my own...
    whenever said my words....wishing they would be heard...I saw you

    looked into his eyes they were teary. She continued to sing. "My

    know....that I had mine....on you?"
    Heero couldn't hold back. He sat
    up, no matter how much it hurt him, and he pulled her close to him.
    She sat on the bed side and was pulled close to him. They both
    met in a long, passionate kiss. Heero pulled her into the bed where
    she felt secure. She finally had her love, and she wasn't going to let
    anyone tell her different. She loved him, and he loved her. And they
    both knew it would be forever.
    Heero looked her in the eyes and whispered into her ear.
    "Dreamer.....how much I love you, this isn't a dream....... Mission
    Completed.."
