I hope this christmas
Comes to you joyous and softly,
With the rustle of angel's wings,
The warmth of a candle's glow,
With laughter of children,
And a "Ho! Ho! Ho!"

I hope it arives
With the beauty of church bells,
With the scent of cinnimon and pine,
And brings much love and warmth,
To make your heart shine.

Take the wrongs and the grudges
Of yesterday,
Add them to your regrets,
And tuck them all away.

For a New Year has arived,
With hope that can mend.
And the past is too heavy,
To carry my friend.

Be kind to yourself,
And release the sorrow.
On new year's promise,
Of a better tommorow.

Lighten your burden,
With new year's rays.

The Way To A Happy New Year

To leave the old with a burst of song;
To recall the right and forgive the wrong;
