Ends sentences with 'Nyo'. When angry, shoots energy beam from eyes (me kara biimu). Di Gi Charat was created by doujinshi artist Koge-Donbo for Broccoli Co. to use as a mascot for their Gamers stores. Dejiko and Gema became stars of the Gamers commercials and soon Dejiko had her own CD's and merchandise! The girl certainly is popular... In 1999 more characters joined Dejiko and Gema and a short TV series was created and aired on the Tokyo Broadcasting System (TBS). Since then there have been numerous specials, a movie out later this year and new DGC merchandise appearing all the time! Dejiko and her pals are certainly well loved  ~_^
