"A Life Of Loneliness"

Forsaken dreams,
Forgotten queens,
Alas, my life shall end.
I’ve never seen,
Or even dreamed,
A knight in evening dress,
A richer king,
Or everything,
That a man shall possess.
As I breathe my last lonely breath,
A kiss goodnight,
Would surely right,
A kings last request.
A hater’s sword,
And every word,
Shall finally lay to rest,
An older king,
A wanted thing,
By finding it’s way in his breast.
The dream shall end,
The king shall win,
The hunter finds again,
A harder life,
For of the kings wife,
Comes the next of kin.
A battle down the narrow road,
A winner to perceive,
A gift of life,
That from his wife,
Was a gift to receive.
A time of trouble,
The next time to leave.
A father that owed,
A mother bestowed,
And a child to behold.
For when he fell,
He left a farewell,
And the child all alone;
The mother’s kill, was in revenge,
‘Twas a sickened end.
A teen without a clue,
A fatherless life,
He takes unto wife,
A new destiny to begin.
A woman who’s bearing child,
Gives a great smile,
And daddy is glad, too.
A war to fight,
To start a new life,
And merry-go-rounds again,
The hands of time take a spin,
The cling and the clong,
The hour grows long,
And an old life repeats anew.
And now a new day,
That in the same way,
Is looked at with a different view.
