Kitty Disclaimer: If you want a happy fic. Then... you know, you really should not be reading any of my stuff. But for the purposes of LaOC, stop, um, three parts ago. Or just read Lucy's. Please blame Miss X, aka God, for the ending. She did not plan or write it, just, it makes her feel better to get the hate.

Discord's POV

LaOC XIII - It Has Begun, Only You Don't Know It Yet

Challenge me?
Me!
Yeah, I'll kick her ass all the way down to Lucy's cold storage.

I look into the mirror, checking my nose out.
She has a good swing on her, I'll have to watch out for that next time.
Ok, it's not broken.
She's one lucky bitch.

'Dizzy, let me look at that.'

Elle takes my head and tilts it to check my face out.

'Oww, that hurt!'

She removes her thumb, from where it was painfully testing the cartilage in my nose.

'Sorry. I'll speak to Jude and tell her to take the challenge back, that way...'

'No way. She's been gunning for me since day one. I don't need your help. I can fight my own battles.'

I push her off, grab a wet cloth, and pat my face.
All I need is teacher protecting me.
Get a great reputation then.
Discord hiding behind God's coat tails.

'You're not hiding behind me. I don't want to see either of you hurt. Ok, you more than her, but she's still one of my Angels.'

'Not for much longer. And stop reading my thoughts.'

Yeah, get out of my head.
Discord's mind; no trespassing.
I feel like I should get a chalk board with that on it.

'Alright. Stop pacing and sit down. Don't we have nice seats in the bathrooms?'

'It's a bathroom. Don't think people are meant to hang around in here.'

I take a seat next to her on one of the benches.
She picks my hand up and kisses my palm.
Me being the idiot I am, pull it out of her grasp.
She's always trying to protect me, really pisses me off.
I get that look from her that I always do when she thinks I'm being stubborn.

'I meant to repeal the challenge laws hundreds of years ago. Think it slipped my mind. It's a silly rule. Now stop acting like a child and let me speak to Jude.'

You know, she almost had me, but she ruined it.
My anger sparks up, kicking me into life.
I stand up, walk over to the basin, and run my wrists under the cold tap.
Anything to try and cool off.
It doesn't work as I feel myself getting more and more agitated; with her, Jude, all of it.

'I'm not a kid, so maybe you should stop treating me like one. The challenge stands. I'll defend my position, your eminence. Anyway I need to.'

With that I walk out and leave her sitting on the bench.

I remember reading about challenges, the way you can choose the style of the battle.
I'll take that bitch down for daring to start on me.

If she wants a fight, then she'll get one.

This is about honour now, and no half assed Angel is going to fuck around with mine.
