Claimer:
I own them. Even the evil ones.
Title:
It is a Goddess of Life. It is also the start of the proper name the herb
(Atropa Belladonna).
Notes: Belladonna
and Henbane, in the right doses, can cause a clinical condition. This condition
can be recognised by the following symptoms; anxiety, paranoia, panic, violent
mood swings, "insanity" (nice wide term for you all), headaches and distorted
reality. A prolonged dose ultimately causes death. Oh. Dear. *puts her
best "yikes" face on*. I would let Elle know, but I have ironing to do.
Arminius'
POV
'Arminius, hurry!'
'Quiet. It's not
dissolving properly. Check the other bottles to see if she's drunk them.'
I tip the rest
of the Belladonna and Henbane solution into Discord's drinking water, and
swirl the bottle around.
It finally disappears
without a trace.
It took a long
time to be able to distil it so it's tasteless, but time is what I have in
abundance.
'All but one are
gone. Are you sure this stuff won't kill her, she's been on it for days now! We
should have asked Jude if this was ok.'
Thirsty Discord.
We should be seeing
the effects by now.
As for asking
Jude, I'm sure she'd love having an unstable opponent in the challenge.
Especially one who
was having violent episodes.
I doubt we would
get her approval.
But I am lucky,
for it's not her blessing I seek.
'We are doing
this for her. Don't you want to see her as Commander, Dominic? Exactly,
now shut up and keep a watch.'
Not that Jude
will live through the challenge.
How convenient
of her to present this opportunity to me.
I wasn't looking
forward to removing someone again.
I have been over-looked
for too many years.
I work hard, I
tow the line and I get nothing.
NOTHING!
If this is the
way it must be, then so be it.
'Done. Are the
halls clear?'
Dominic nods at
me.
I wipe the glass
bottles clean, then replace them back exactly where they were.
We quickly walk
into the halls and back to our posts.
Elle has always
taught us to show initiative.
And that is what
I am doing.
By eliminating
my opposition.
