'So, Dis, what you want to talk about, and who was that Elle woman, she made my skin prickle.'
 
I look at her face and she stares at me, like I just drank the last beer without telling her.
 
'Dis, you gonna say something? What, did I break something of yours?'
 
'Sorry, I thought I felt, I mean heard something. Elle? She's, look, sit down, Faith.'
 
This is serious, she never tells me to sit down unless she's got bad news.
I knew things were going to well, too fuckin' well!
 
'Faith...'
 
Shit, is this gonna be like B, all pauses and stutters?
Don't think my mind can take it, honest.
 
'Dis, what, man, get it out!'
 
'Elle and me...'
 
Hey, Dis finally got herself a honey!
No wonder she's freaking at the speed of light.
Ok, let her say it, Faith, she's probably been practising this speech all day.
Though if she has, wish she'd speeded it up a bit.

Someone knocks on my door.

She lights a smoke up as I head to the door.
I put my hand on the lock and get that crawling feeling again.
All over me, like I'm covered in ants.
If it's a vamp then they can't get me unless I invite them in.
Ok, lets see what there is to see.
 
I open the door and it's some fuckin girl scout, selling cookies!
 
'Hello, we're...'
 
Before she can finish the sentence, I see a hand shoot past me, grab her, and drag her into the house,
Dis slams the door, and throws the kid into the wall.
 
WHAT THE FUCK?!
 
'Dis, what are you doing? Leave her alone, man, don't make me hurt you!'
 
What's going on?
My heart feels like it's going to pound out of my chest.
Don't stand still, Faith, sort Dis out!
 
Before I know what's happened, my hands are round Dis, throwing her away from the girl.
 
'Dis, you gone insane? What's going on?'
 
Then I feel a pain in my stomach.
I look down and see the tip of a knife breaking through my skin.
 
What... ?
I swing round and see the smiling face of the kid as I sink to my knees.
 
Discord's POV
 
FUCK!
 
I jump over, grab the girls neck, twisting it so hard it comes off in my hands.
Fuck it!
I drop her head on the floor, kicking her body out of the way.
 
'Faith?!'
 
I kneel down by her side and take a look at the wound.
Ok, not deep, I'm here, so this is no problem.
Not a problem, concentrate, Dis.
You have to focus, she's going to be cool.
Everything's ok, Dis.
 
CONCENTRATE!
 
I place my hands on her stomach and lock my eyes on her face.
Elle, anytime today would be kind of nice?
 
Elle?!
A flash of light off to my right and I know she's here.
 
'Dizzy, what... oh dear. Lucy never did like rules. You know I can't intervene. I'm sorry. I can tell you, that what you are doing now isn't enough, unless you concentrate more and focus. Ok, time lines changed. Keep going, she'll be fine in a few minutes. Do you want a drink, or... you beheaded her? Dis, excessive I have to say!'
 
'Shut up, Elle. You can see what's going to happen, why didn't you tell me!'
 
'Discord, I'll let that out burst slide. You know, as well as my other soldiers, that I can only see what I'm surrounded by. That's the way it works. If I could see everything I wouldn't need you guys, now would I. Stop talking to me and help Faith. I'll clean this horrible mess up.'
 
I turn to say something, but stop as she clicks her fingers, and in a flash of light, the dead girl and blood is gone.
 
Ok, now I'm pissed off.
