Setting: A dim theater. Two figures are making their way down the aisle to their preferred seats near the front.
Duo: ...But my hair's not dry yet!
Theresa: It'll dry as we MST. Just hang it over the back of your seat and it'll drip onto the floor.
Duo: You have no respect for how long my hair takes to air dry.
Theresa: You've obviously never noticed how long my hair is. Now quit whining, we've got a 'Sue to mock!
Duo: Right! (They both sit and the fic begins to scroll)

Lost Friend Found

Duo: Found in a brothel.

Author's notes: WOW! I have got to say. You guys are pretty fast with the reviews. Well, here is the the chapter 5 that I have promised.

Duo: That wasn't a very nice promise.

Now, I as I have said in reviews, if I get 10 reviews this time. I'll post out chapter 6.

Theresa: I can't believe she's holding this fic hostage. Don't review, little chill'uns, it's not worth it!

Yap. I have already go it. So, don't forget to review!

Duo: (Author) So that I may inflict more of this meaningless drivel on the masses.

Chapter 5: Painful Memory

Theresa: It burns, it buuurrrnsss!

By Silver Wing

"Any more questions?" Trowa asked. Hearing no response, he too, turned to leave.

Duo: He was expecting a shipment of rare exotic hair-styling products down at the post office.

Now there's only Wufei and Heero left in the room. After a moment of uncomfortable silence

Theresa: Wufei and Heero don't do uncomfortable silence, my girl.
Duo: Hey, what happened to Quatre?
Theresa: I guess she forgot him.

with only the sound of fingers clicking on keyboards,

Duo: It's not silent if someone's typing, now is it?

Wufei spoke up. "What do you think of Misako?"

Theresa: (Wufei) I personally plan to disembowl her this evening when she returns.

The clicking of keys stopped, for Heero had turned around to face the 05 pilot. He was surprised that Wufei had tried to start a conversation,

Duo: I don't know where these fanfic authors come up with the idea that no one ever talks. Wufei's such a chatterbox!

and about a woman too. "I don’t trust her."

Theresa: Yey, Heero!

"I didn’t ask you if you trust her or not," Wufei snapped. "I asked what you think of her."

Duo: That is what he thinks of her.

She’s mysterious, unemotional, and rather familiar looking. Came to mind, but instead Heero answered, "I don’t know enough about her to judge her."

Theresa: (Heero) I mean, we've only lived in the same house for how many months now? Nope, definately have no clue what to think about her.

Then he turned back to what he was doing before he was interrupted.

Duo: Surfing the 'net for porn.

Sighing, the Shanglong pilot

Theresa: *Growls and makes swiping motions with her fingers curled into claws)
Duo: Down, girl.

moved from his position around the kitchen table and walked out the room. Leaving Heero alone to his work.

Duo: That goes without saying, since Heero's the last person in the room, since Quatre mysteriously disappeared.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

It's another beautiful midsummer night. The cool, refreshing night air blew though the hot desert, cooling off everything it touched. Countless stars shone in the night sky, glittered and danced around the full moon.

Theresa: The virgin sacrifice was draped in her sacramental robes and laying quietly in the sand.

The moon's brightness, though weak, nevertheless provided comfort for the girl who's lost and confused of this night.

Duo: (Girl) Why did I have to be the sacrificial virgin?

She was dressed in navy blue shorts and a black tank top. Her hair was left flowing around her like a river in the comforting, cool night air.

Theresa: That's a creepy image. I hope she drowns in her hair.

The girl walked noiselessly down the path leading out to the Gundam hangar from the garden, seemly in deep thought.

Duo: When in actuality, all that was on her mind was the cute shoes she'd seen in the store window earlier that day.

The moon smiled sadly upon this lost and confused soul as she walked into the large hangar,

Duo: (Misako) Ouch, who put this hangar here?

and paused in front of a massive mobile suit. The girl looked up at the metal giant, taking in its every detail, and then she reached out a hand as if to touch it.

Theresa: She pulled back at the last minute, however, because she remembered that the car alarm was still engaged.

"Hey there," The girl whispered to the gundam standing before her, touching its gundaminum feet ever so softly. "Did you miss me?"

Duo: (Gundam) No, now go away.

Not expecting an answer, the young girl climbed on to the shoulder of the suit with relative easiness and just sat there, leaning back against the head of the gundam, her gundam.

Theresa: (Gundam) Get off my shoulder, you tiny little flea!

This girl is no other then Misako Otain.

Duo: Haha, the author's misspelled her 'Sue's name twice now!

After that horrifying dream, she didn’t get much sleep.

Theresa: The dream had involved her being left behind while the real Gundam pilots took care of the mission themselves.

Whenever she drifted into sleep, the demons from her past would hunt her to no end.

Theresa: With knives.
Duo: Pointy knives.
Theresa: Crap, we did this one already.

To escape from those dreams, and her room, for it suddenly became too small and air tight for her liking, Misako decided a short walk was in order.

Duo: Again, convinently forgetting that she's injured!

It’ll give her time to calm down, to think. To think about her motive for fighting, the purpose of the ongoing war, everything.

Theresa: Duh, the war is simple. You fight for peace. Silly girl.

As she sat there, doing nothing but stare at the horizon, she let her thoughts wander.

Duo: Sadly, they didn't get very far, because they were eaten by a vicious sand weasel.

Something that she didn't do often.

Theresa: She didn't have very many thoughts, so she didn't want to lose them all at once.

Misako’s mind reflected involuntarily on the past few years of her life. Thought about how drastically her life had changed during the curse of the war.

Duo: How many times she'd changed shampoo...nail polish...eye-liner. It had been a busy few years!

How her adopted father’s sudden death had turned her world upside down.

Theresa: Because now she didn't have anyone to boss her around anymore.

At that thought, the goddess of Hell gave a bitter laugh. She could still remember that dreadful day as if it was yesterday.

Duo: Probably because it was.

~ Flashback ~

Theresa: Aw, nuts, these always make me sick to my stomach.

I was planning a massive attack strategy with few of my subordinates, when the phone rang.

Duo: (Guy on the phone) Hello? Somebody here ordered sixteen anchovie pizzas?

Not wanting to waste any time on meaningless phone calls, I instructed one of my subordinates to answer it for me.

Theresa: (Narrator) You, there, young lacky. Answer that phone.

"Hello? Yes, she is Sir. Colonel Otain, phone call." The Private informed me.

Duo: That's three times now.
Theresa: Do you think she's changed the 'Sue's name without giving prior notice?

"Who is it from?" I asked impatiently.

Duo: (the private) It's your father, ma'am, he wants his chair back.

"I didn’t ask ma’am."

Theresa: (Misako) You're fired!

"Then ask!"

"Y..Yes ma’am. Might I ask who is this?" After a moment of silence, the Private turned to me and siad, "It’s from the military hospital, ma’am. Something about Commander Otain."

Duo: (Private) I didn't catch what was said exactly though, so I could be mistaken.

Immediately, I took the phone from the Private.

Theresa: (Misako) Yoink!

"Colonel Otain here, you said something about my father?"

Duo: (Misako) What the hell does he want now? Doesn't he know I'm not a kid anymore? Oh, wait...

"Yes, Colonel." The person on the other end said. "As you might have heard, you father has returned from his last assignment, and…"

Theresa: (person) He's mighty unhappy that you usurped his seat while he was away.

"No, I didn’t know that. Has something happened to him?" I asked, trying my best to suppress the fear from my voice.

Duo: (Misako) He's going to ground me, I know it!

"Well, when he arrived here, he was severally injured, both external and internal. He has lost a lot of blood, plus th…."

"Just tell me how he is." I said in a surprisingly calm, but threatening tone.

This caused all the people in the meeting room to look at me, but went back to what they were doing after I gave them a glare.

Duo: (Misako) Here, have a glare, it's very menacing.

"Y..Yes, Colonel. Well, you see, your….your father, he’s, well, he’s…" The person stumbled, her tone full of unspeakable fear.

Theresa: (Random scientist) I declare this fear to be unspeakable!

"Just say it already!" This time I did yell. I can almost see the person on the other end flinch at the tone of my voice.

Theresa: It was severly out of key.

I have full knowledge of what kind of effect my tone has on people.

Duo: It makes them want to point and laugh at the little girl who thinks she's so intimidating.

"Well, ma’am, he’s, umm, he’s…dying ."

Theresa: (person on the phone) I mean, what other conclusion could you come to, with all the blood-loss and all? I swear, the people in charge of our military these days...

At that moment, I couldn’t think, couldn’t breathe, and couldn’t do anything but stare at what was in front of me.

Duo: A minature pink elephant.

My father is dying. My father is dying. I kept repeating that in my mind until reality set in.

Theresa: He's dying?

Suddenly, I felt a sense of dreadfulness, helplessness, and unimaginable pain.

Duo: It wouldn't take normal people so long to come to that conclusion.
Theresa: Further proof that she's a robot!

My father is dying? That can’t be true! Can it?

Duo: Yes.

I mean I have always been told that he is the best soldier in the military.

Theresa: (Misako) Except for me, of course.

How's dying?

Duo: In his case, I'd guess painful.

How can that be? I was lost in my senseless thoughts until someone calling my name on the other line and pulled me back.

Theresa: What is she, a telephone?

"Colonel? Colonel Ling? Are you still there?"

Duo: (Misako) I'm sorry, you're confused. I'm Colonel Otani. I mean Otain.

Snipping out of my thoughts, I said as calm as before. "Yes, I’m still here. Is there anything else?"

Theresa: (Misako) He forgot to give me my allowance this week, tell him I want that.

"Yes, ma’am. Commander Otain, I mean, your father requests your presence."

Duo: So he can tell you what a horrible git you are.

"I see. Tell him that I’m on my way." I said, hanging up the phone not waiting for a reply.

Theresa: Being rude is cool!

Without a word of explanation, I rushed out of the meeting room to my car at break neck speed,

Duo: When suddenly, she slipped and broke her neck! The end.

and drove to the hospital at top speed.

Theresa: Never mind the three speeding tickets she earned on the way.

All the while, my mind repeated madly of the dreadful news. Your father is dying…Commander Otain requests your presence…. Father is dying…requests your presence…Dying…presence. God! Father! Hang in there! I'm coming! Mie is coming!

Duo: I fail to see how her presence will do anything to stop him from dying.

When I finally got to the hospital,

Theresa: That last police officer had been a real bastard.

what I saw made me want to go back to the meeting.

Duo: Yes, sterile white hospitals tend to do that to me too.

But I thought better of it. My father was lying in a bed with all kinds of tubes going in and out of his body.

Theresa: What, right in the lobbey?

Machines surrounded him, an oxygen mask covering half of his face, helping him to breathe. There wasn't a spot on his body that wasn’t bruised or bandaged up. His face was as pale as the sheet that covered him up. His lips were turning any ugly color of blue from too much blood loss.

Theresa: Wouldn't his lips be pale if he had lost a lot of blood?

He looked no more then a dead corpse, the only sign that he’s still alive was the constant beeping of the heart monitor.

Duo: (Random doctor) Oh, sorry, that's my pager. This guy died hours ago.

I desperately try to hold back my tears as I look on, but to no avail.

Theresa: A single tear slipped down her cheek, ignoring her strict orders.

As I walked closer to the bed where he laid, I felt hot tears escaping my eyes, and flowing down my cheeks.

Duo: (Misako) Smudging my eye-liner.

The sight of him lying there, dying, ripped my heart into a million pieces.

Theresa: No, that's what the mini balrogs are for.
Duo: We don't have a mini balrog.

I had never thought that I would see him like this; he had always seemed so strong.

Duo: So invincible...like Superman!

Although I had always knew deep in my heart, that something like this would happen sooner or later, him being a soldier and all.

Theresa: Yes, it's for the best. Give him a bullet between the eyes, it'll put him out of his misery.

However, I had never expected to be this soon.

Duo: (Misako, crying) I'm only a kid, for the love of everything!

While I was lost in my thoughts, my father had slowly opened his eyes.

Theresa: She's been lost in there for quite some time now.

I didn't even notice this until he had taken off the oxygen mask and called my name ever so softly.

Duo: More like a lover than a father.
Theresa: Eww...

Immediately, I snapped to attention, looking down at the pale man on the bed. Choking back a sob, I put both of my hands around one of his, and uttered the name that I have called him for the last seven years, knowing full well that this might be the last time that I’ll ever say it again.

Theresa: (Misako) You bastard!

The knowledge brought more tears to my eyes as I sunk down in the chair next to his bed.

Duo: That's gotta be some messy eye-liner by now.

"Father. Don’t say anything. You need your strength."

Theresa: (Misako) I need you to cook me dinner tonight!

"Mie, don’t cry." My father whispered hoarsely as he reached out a hand to wipe away my tears.

Duo: (Dad) It makes your eyeliner all runny.

"Perfect Soldiers don’t cry. See I’m fine." He said, trying to smile but only managed a wince.

Theresa: (Dad) I'm getting better! I think I'll go for a walk!

Resting a hand under my chin, he lifted up my head a little so that my tearful eyes meet his gaze, he said again, but this time in a more ordering tone. "Don’t cry."

Duo: (Dad) I forbid you!

That had did it, all my holed up emotions were like a river with a broken dam, rushing out along with more of my tears, and I broke down sobbing uncontrollably.

Theresa: That proves Heero's the real perfect soldier. I know he never did anything like that when he was her age.

All the pain was just too much for a 13-year-old to handle. I had loved my father so much.

Duo: (Misako) Except when he forced me to eat broccoli.

Even though I had known from the very beginning that he was not my biological father.

Theresa: Since when does that matter?

But he was the only father that I had ever known, and the only one that I had ever loved.

Duo: Well, duh, how could you love someone you never met?

It was he who had took me in after the L1 Colony Massacre rose me and given me all the love that one can possibly have.

Theresa: He planted her in some nice soil and watered her once a day.

And the thought of losing him was simply too much.

Duo: So she killed herself. The end.

After my sobbing had calmed a little, I lifted my head to look at father.

Theresa: He was glaring angrilly.
Duo: (Dad) I ordered you not to cry! Now I need my sheets changed, you got eyeliner all over them!

He seemed worse then before.

Theresa: Your violent sobbing had reopened some of his wounds, you silly girl!

Seeing that I had stopped sobbing, he reached out a hand to cradle my cheek while the other wiped out the remaining tears.

Duo: You mean she didn't cry them all into the bedsheets?

"You have grown so fast, begin to look more and more like you mother everyday."

Theresa: If he's her adopted father, how does he know what her mother looks like?
Duo: PLOTHOLE!

"Oh, Father!" I said, putting my hands on top of his, caressing it gently. "Please don’t try to talk. You’ll need your strength to live."

Theresa: (Misako) And cook me dinner tonight.

He laughed bitterly, then said, "I’m dying, Mie, you and I both know it. So stop giving me false hope."

Duo: (Dad) It tastes funny.

"No, I won’t have it! I will not let you die!" I cried, tightening my hold on his hands, not wanting to let go, ever.

Theresa: (Dad) Let go, my fingers are broken!

"Mie, this is something even you can’t stop, this is destiny."

Duo: Destiny, Destiny, no escaping destiny...

Father voiced, he was losing strength fast.

Theresa: Having to deal with an emotional wreck of a Mary-Sue'll do that to a guy.

"You should be happy for me, this way, I’ll be with your mother soon.

Duo: Her adopted mother, I presume.

And I can watch over you, forever."

Theresa: You mean haunt her from the grave.

"Father." I tried to say more, but somehow my voice had left me, leaving an unbearable pain in my chest.

Duo: (Misako's voice) I need a vacation, I'm going to Hawaii. See ya!

I shook my head, burying my face in his two large hands as I cried some more. Using a hand, my father lifted my face and stared into my pain filled eyes.

Theresa: How many hands does that man have?

"Mie, darling, don’t cry any more. I’ll always be with you, in there." Letting go my face, he put his hand on top of my heart to emphasize what he meant.

Duo: He'll be with her in the form of of a nasty heart disease...forever!

Then continued, "Just remember, that no matter where I am, I’ll always, always, love you, with all my heart."

Theresa: (Dad) Because I have no other choice.

With that, my dear father breathed his last.

Duo: From now on, he was going cold turkey.

The only person who had ever loved me in this whole world is now dead, but somehow through all this pain, deep in my soul, I feel happy for him.

Theresa: He's in a better place now.
Duo: Disneyland?

He had left this cold, unjust world for a much better place in heaven, where my dear mother is.

Duo: Again, I say, your adopted mother?

Leaning down, I kissed my dead father’s forehead softly. "I love you too, Father. Always and forever."

Duo: He can't hear you, you know, he's dead.
Theresa: Throw 'im on the cart.

Wiping away the remaining tears on my face, I walked out the room oblivious of all the doctors and nurses running around me,

Duo: (Misako, muttering) Peons.

I put my impressive mask back in place once more.

Theresa: It's impressive because it's made of real gold.

However, this one is different than the one I had before. This one is devoid of emotion and expression.

Duo: Just like her real face!

I won’t let my grief show, I won’t let people see that I’m hurt, I won’t let them see my heart and soul are shattered, I won’t let them see my weakness.

Theresa: Because in the end, you really are just a 13-year old girl.

Like my father said, I’m the perfect solider.

Duo: If by "Perfect" he meant "perfectly stupid," then I'd have to agree.

~ End of Flashback ~

Unconsciously, a solitary tear had made its way down Misako’s cheek at the memory.

Theresa: It had snuck around her "impressive" mask.

Wiping away the tear forcefully, nearly bruising her face in the process,

Duo: That's some force!

the ex-OZ soldier scolded herself for showing so much emotions so openly.

Theresa: Because everyone and their mother are staring at you right now.

Good thing that no body is around here.

Duo: (Misako) I'd just die if someone thought I was a human!

Just then, a rather familiar voice ringed though the gundam hanger, calling her name.

Theresa: Suuuue! Suuuey! Heeere, suey suey suey!

I stand corrected.

Duo: Is there someone else here?

"Misako! Are you in there?" A worried voice cried out.

Duo: (worried voice) I can't find my wallet, have you seen it?

Tsuzuku.....................

Duo: Wow, this one seemed shorter than the last one.
Theresa: Yeah, nice, eh?

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

I want to thank Mike, The Jackal, Space Cadet, Dragon of the North, and Peygan for reviewing. You guys are the best! Keep on reviewing!

Duo: (Author) Because I'm holding this fic hostage until I get enough mindless praise!

My standard disclaimers: First thing first. I don' t own the G-boys.

Theresa: Damn straight you don't. They belong to Yadate-sama and Sunrise.

Although I wish I do.

Duo: No you don't. *smirks evilly*

However, Misako Otani ©is copy righted by me.

Theresa: (Author) I even have the paperwork and everything.

Any illegal use will be take to court. Same goes for any part of this story.

Duo: Should we be worried?
Theresa: Meh. All she'll get from me is a bit of pocket lint and a stray penny or two.
Duo: I guess that's about the same for me.

So, ask me first if you want to use anything from this story. You have been warned.

Duo: We're shaking in our seats.

Thank you for taking the time out in reading this Gundam Funfic, I hope you like it.

Theresa: What the crap is a "funfic"? That Sonia girl said "Funfic" too!

Any comments, even bad one, Please send me an Email. Thank you again for reading.

Duo: I think we'll just keep our comments here.
Theresa: (nods)

=====

Author's notes: Well, here is chapter 6th.

Theresa: Chapter 6 dear, chapter 6.

I couldn't wait for those 10 reviews to come in for I have long lost faith in getting that many.

Duo: Two days of waiting is two too many!

I'm feeling really down right, so just please injoy the story. Oh, and please do review.

Theresa: Now I feel kind of bad...
Duo: Snap out of it! This is my love life we're talking about here!
Theresa: Right!

Chapter 6: Duo’s Confession

Duo: Of Hatred.

By Silver Wing

The Chinese pilot sighed. Well, so much for my peace and quiet! The DeathHell pilot thought sarcastically.

Theresa: Too bad it's not Trowa. Then he could beat her to death with elipses.

Why is that boy so worried about me anyway? She asked herself not wanting an answer, but got one anyway.

Duo: I want to make sure I'm a benificiary for when you die.

Oh, I don’t know, maybe he cares for you! A little voice answer back in a mocking tone.

Theresa: Cares for your money!

Care for me? Yeah right. Even if he does, I don't care for him! Misako debated with that voice.

Duo: Think she can hear us?

Liar!

Oh, shut up! Misako yelled mentally. When nothing talked back, satisfied, Misako touched her face for any tears that went unnoticed.

Theresa: Unfortunately, her eyes were red and puffy from prolonged weeping, so he would know she'd been crying anyway.

Nothing. Good. Then jumped down from her gundam’s shoulder and landed gracefully and soundlessly behind the 'intruder’.

Duo: Then she tripped and fell on her face.

"Misako! Are you in there?" Duo called out desperately.

Theresa: He really needed his wallet back.

He has been trying to find the crazy pilot of DeathHell for nearly two hours now.

Duo: I'd found a few screws laying around and figured they belonged to her.

He looked everywhere on the mansion grounds for that girl, but found nothing.

Theresa: I'm surprised, since it's such a small mansion.

The only place that he hadn’t looked is the gundam hanger, and from the look of things, she isn't here either.

Duo: Must've gimped off to the hospital or something.

"I didn’t think a 15 year old would still need a babysitter." Duo sighed.

Theresa: Wrong. She needs two baby-sitters, and a nanny.

That girl as just as crazy as Heero, only a lot worse. "Where could she be?"

Duo: Laying in a ditch somewhere.

"Maybe right behind you." A familiar cold voice answered his question.

Theresa: Ah, Heero!

Duo whirred around in surprise at the familiar monotone,

Theresa: Whacking her face with his braid in the process,

then a sense of relief washed over him upon the sight of the subject of his seemly endless search.

Duo: Gimme my wallet!

Then gasped at the sight presented before him.

Theresa: For his hair had raised a giant welt across her face.

In front of him, Misako stood with her arms crossed in front of her chest, feet apart for balance, her waist long black hair was left flowing freely in the wind.

Duo: What wind? They're in a hanger!

As the cool breeze picked up that hair and made it swirl around the girl, the moonlight glittered off of it, given it a heavenly glow, creating a dark, yet beautiful, scenery about her.

Theresa: (makes gagging noises)

With the moon illuminating the side of her face, and the dark colored skintight cloth that she wore, which showed off every curve of her body,

Duo: Which was really not all.

it made her look like a death angel.

Theresa: Or a dead angel.

Which she is. Duo thought.

Duo: As soon as I kill her.

I wonder what she would look like when she's n… Duo stopped his thought before it went any farther.

Theresa: Not alive, very good thought process, Duo!

Duo no baka! What kind of sick mind do you have? Duo asked himself as he shook his head to clear those forbidding thoughts.

Duo: (Forbidding thoughts) Young whippersnapper! I ought to take you across my knee!

When he was sure that they were permanently removed, he looked up at the girl in front of him again, and saw that she had an arched eyebrow and was looking at him as if he was crazy.

Theresa: Which he was.

"What?" Duo asked nervously, afraid that the female pilot had picked up on his thoughts.

Duo: Watch, this is where it's revealed that she can read minds too.

Shaking her head, the girl questioned. "What are you doing here?"

Theresa: (Duo) It's my Gundam hanger too, you know.

"I should ask you the same thing." Duo talked back sarcastically.

Duo: Since you don't really belong here.

"What do I do is none of your business." Misako replied bitterly.

Theresa: (Misako) But if you must know, I was crocheting doilies for the inside of my Gundam.

"Mine isn’t yours either." Duo replied in the same tone.

Duo: Woo! Go me!

"You were calling my name. THAT makes it my business."

Theresa: Hey, it's his hanger too you know.

"Guzz! I was just looking for you for you that's all. No need to yell." Duo finally admitted.

Theresa: Really, leave off with the caps-lock.

"Why?"

Duo: To kill you, of course.

"Well," Duo stumbled. Maybe because I care for you way too much for my own good, I’m worried about you.

Theresa: (Duo) I don't want you to fall down and scrape your knee, or something...

Oh, and maybe because I love you! Duo though, but instead he answered. "Well, is it wrong for a friend to be worried about another friend if they are in your condition?"

Duo: What condition?
Theresa: I dunno...Oh! Wait, I remember! She's got bullet wounds!
Duo: That's right! How could I forget? What with her landing so gracefully after a drop of 50 feet that would kill any normal, uninjured person!

"Well, you found me. Now you can rest easy." Misako said coldly, turning to leave.

Theresa: That girl just can't stay in one place!

Duo felt a rush of anger at the Chinese pilot’s word, and without thinking, he

Duo: Stabbed her in the back with a sharp, pointy knife.

blurted out suddenly, but immediately regret saying it. "Why do you keep doing this?"

Theresa: (Misako) I'm a robot. It's what robots do.

Frozen in her tracks, Misako glanced the American pilot over her shoulder not bothering to turn around and face him. "What are you talking about?"

Duo: (Misako) Must...keep up...facade of....humanity....

Duo, you and your big mouth! Well, there’s no going back now. Batter talk about it now while you still has the chance.

Theresa: (Duo) I'm tired of how you never clean up after yourself in the kitchen!

"The way you always push me away when ever I am trying to be nice, or friendly." Duo said, walking a few steps towards the girl.

Duo: (Misako) *makes pushing motions*
Theresa: (Misako) Get away, get awaaayyy...

Misako just stood there, not answering.

Duo: Staring silently. Not speaking.

Duo sighed. Great, another one-way conversation. Better make the best of it.

Theresa: (Duo) Sooo...how 'bout that broccoli?

"The way you always distant yourself from me, from every one. What have I…we done to make you hate us so? What have we done to make you push us away all the time?

Duo: (Misako) You're boys. That's explination enough.

What have we…Oh, this is useless. I can’t do this." Duo sighed and turned his back to the girl, closing his eyes,

Theresa: held his breath, and made a wish.

trying to find a better way to explain this. In turn, missing the pained expression, which flashed in the girl's eyes for just a second, then disappeared just as fast.

Duo: Faster than a speeding bullet.
Theresa: Or a falling colony.

"It’s just that…that." Turning back to face the girl, by this time the Chinese girl has turned around too without Duo’s acknowledge.

Duo: I refuse to acknowledge this budding romance.

"We…I just want to make you smile for once. I just want to be there for you. I just want…to be your friend."

Theresa: (Duo) So you'll be less suspicious of my half-disguised murder attempts!

"Friends have no place in my world. Friends are only liabilities." The DeathHell pilot said in a clam, unemotional tone.

Duo: Well, clams are pretty unemotional.

"In your world? The only things in your world are war and fighting. A person can’t live like that!"

Theresa: Yeah, you need video games too.

Duo yelled in rage, all the while, the girl in front of him just stayed silent.

Duo: She couldn't get a word in edge-wise, really.

"Why can’t you see that we are just trying to be your friend here?! Why?"

Theresa: She's secretly blind. She sees using...the Force!

"Because I don’t want friends." Misako said, some emotion shining in her usually unemotional eyes.

Duo: Irritation, to be precise.

"Why?"

Theresa: (Misako) Because friends smell funny.

"That's none of your business." Misako said in a warning tone.

Duo: Warning! Fatal system error! Reboot immediately!

"Oh, I know why." Duo said sarcastically. "You just think that you are too good enough for us. That we would only get in your way, isn't that right, Ms. Perfect Solider?"

Theresa: (Misako) You said it, I didn't.

"No." Misako growled out through clenched teeth. Flames of anger hot in her narrowed eyes.

Duo: Watch out, her brain's on fire.

"No? Why then?"

Theresa: (Misako) Because boys are icky.

"None of your business." Misako said, finally gaining control over her anger.

Duo: Yey, I made her angry! Mission: Accomplished.

Then turned to go once more. However, stopped as the American pilot opened his month again.

Theresa: It's like you have a special super-power...all motion ceases when you open your mouth.
Duo: I know, isn't it great?

"None of my business, hun? Well, well, our own Perfect Solider has a secret.

Duo: Heero has a secret?
Theresa: Yeah, he doesn't wear anything under those shorts of his.
Duo: Eeww...

Maybe what I had said is true and you just want to deny it." Duo said.

Theresa: (Duo) Admit it! You do sleep with a teddy bear!

Misako, I'm going to get to talk about this one way or another.

Duo: Your unhealthy obsession with cheese can't be good for you!

"Maybe you really do think like that. Or maybe it's even worst. Maybe you really are a spy for OZ, after all, you did show up in an OZ uniform."

Theresa: Just like Trowa at one point...

"I'm warning you, Duo Maxwell. Don't push your luck." Misako growled over her shoulder,

Duo: I don't push my luck, it pushes me!

all the anger from before came back to her times two. She had to restraint herself from just turn around and bet the shit out of the American pilot.

Theresa: Why do all the 'Sues want to beat up on my sweet little Duo? ;_;
Duo: I don't have the faintest idea.

"Are you saying I'm wrong then? If I am, then why don't you correct me? Or are you afraid of me knowing the truth?"

Duo: The truth is...she's not fully house-broken.

Duo knw that he's pushing his luck, and also knew what Misako can do to him if he did pushed her too far.

Theresa: Slap at him with both hands in an immature, ineffectual girly fashion.

But he doesn't care. He has already came this far, he's not going to stop now.

Duo: Give me liberty, or give me death!

Turning, Misako walked slowly step by step to the 02 pilot. All the while glaring death, with eyes full of anger.

Theresa: Hmm, she should get those eyes checked...I don't think that's normal.

Her body language promised unimaginable pain.

Duo: She's going to take away the chocolate chunk ice cream!

Hands clenched together so tight that her knockers are beginning to turn white.

Both:...(Burst into gales of laughter)
Theresa: That...was the best typo I've ever seen!

Finally stopping merely a few inches from Duo, Misako started in the most chilling monotone that Duo had ever set his ears upon.

Theresa: Duo, don't put your ears on that chilling monotone, you don't know where it's been!

It gave him a chill up his spine, and his mind screamed at him to get away.

Duo: Run and hide man, it's your only chance!

Instead, he stayed where he is and prepared for whatever Misako is going to throw at him.

Theresa: I predict she's going to thow a tantrum.
Duo: I think she's going to throw small, pointy objects.

He's going to get through to her no matter what.

Theresa: Even if it involved a 'Sue-induced black eye and a trip to the local emergency room.

"You really want to know? Fine, I'll tell you." Stepping a bit close then before, Misako restarted again.

Duo: She was inches away before, how can she get even closer!?

"I don't want friend is not because I think that I'm better then any of you. And yes, I do think you are just going to get in my way.

Theresa: If she thinks that, she should just get out of there and strike out on her own. Leave my G-boys alone.
Duo: (Under his breath) your G-boys?

However that's not the only reason, or the main one. I don't want friends because I don't want any body else to lose their life because of me. I have already last enough, I don't want to be hurt any more."

Duo: (Misako) So I'm cutting myself off from emotional attachment in a selfish attempt to avoid pain.

Duo blanked at the usually unemotional girl's outburst.

Theresa: She had spit in his face as she talked.

Never in all the time that she had stayed here with them, had she showed this much emotion, or any for that matter.

Duo: It was like she was some sort of robot...

Whatever he was expecting her to say, this was definitely wasn't one of them.

Theresa: (Duo) Why didn't you tell us you were a vegetarian?

"Death has taken everybody away, everything I hold dear.

Duo: (Misako) My dad...my...dad...er...

Anyone who ever laid their eyes on me is dead, both enemies and friends.

Theresa: It's like she's had a visit from Shinigami!

Have you ever thought about how much pain I have to endure?! Have you?"

Duo: Oh, boo hoo. Cry me a river so you can build a bridge and jump off it.

The Chinese girl continued. Her voice gaining volume as she went on."I distant myself from everybody because in this war, death is inevitable, and if I get too attached, I'll get hurt.

Theresa: (Misako) I'm so tragic, my daddy died and I don't want any friends now!

The death of my adopted father has already been painful enough, another death like that one, I don't think I can live through it."

Duo: (Misako)He was so old...he had seven different types of cancer, liver disease and a brain tumor! I can't stand it if anyone else I know dies!

"That's what friends are for!" Duo argued. "That's what I'm here for!"

Theresa: Yes, good old friends...they go and die on you, leaving you a hollow, emotionless shell.

"But what if you die?" The female pilot questioned, her tone once again turned cold and calm.

Duo: (grudgingly) then you can have my CD collection.

But what if you die? Duo was dumbfounded by Misako's words.

Duo: I can't die. I'm the God of Death.

The second time in one night, he was left speechless.

Theresa: And for some reason, a speechless Duo is a remarkable event.

"And why would any one want to befriend me?" Misako said, her tone calm and emotionless, holding no argument as she continued.

Duo: That's the very same question we've been asking the entire time we've been reading this.

"Who would want to befriend a killer? A murderer? I was trained to kill, and nothing else. I was brought up for the sole purpose to become a perfect weapon.

Theresa: So was Heero. Go bother him.

Unlike you guys, I don't have a purpose in this war.

Duo: You're an expendable extra!

You guys are fighting in this war because of what you believe in. But me, I'm only alive because my ability is needed. I'm only here to follow orders. I'm the perfect weapon." Misako finished, then turned to walk away.

Theresa: (Misako, to herself) That was so awesome and dramatic. I rock!

Refusing to drop the subject, Duo's hand shot out from beside him and grabbed my left hand in an iron grip, pulling me back.

Duo: Oh joy, a sudden, inexplicaple perspective change.

I looked into his emotional eyes coldly, my face expressionless. On the outside, I was calm and collected. But inside, my emotions were in turmoil.

Theresa: (Misako) Should I kiss him on the lips or on the nose?

I shuttered inside at his closeness. His eyes boring my, as if he can see right through my soul.

Duo: She doesn't have a soul, she's a robot.

I felt like I was drowning. His firm grip on my wrist sent sparks of electricity though out my body, rendering me frozen.

Theresa: (Misako) His sweaty palm rendering me slightly nauseous.

I can almost feel the heat radiate off his body and into mine. Our breath mingled, our faces merely inches apart.

Duo: (Misako) And then he kneed me in the groin and ran off, laughing.

Staring is all I can do at the moment. Trying my best to keep a straight face, I breathed out. "Let go."

Theresa: (Misako) You have cooties.

"I'm the perfect weapon." Misako said to me,

Both: *blink*

her tone held no argument, and then she turned to leave.

Theresa: (irritated) There are many reasons to stick with one perspective. For one, it helps prevent confusion.

Her words invoked a new rush of rage inside of me, refusing to give up, I grabbed her left wrist in an iron grip so that she couldn't get away, and pulled her back to face me.

Duo: Look, if you don't want to dance with me, just say so!

I stared into her tense black eyes, searching for any sign of an emotion of the girl that was here just moments ago, but found nothing.

Theresa: She was gone.
Duo: Oh, well, at least she died a clean death.

She merely stared back at me expressionless.

Theresa: Like a doll.

It was then that I realized our closeness.

Duo: I had realized it a long time ago.

As I stared at her face, it was all I could do to stop myself from

Theresa: Killing her.

kissing her, and run my hands all over her body.

Duo: In search of any valuables she might have on her.

Holding her wrist in my hand send a warmth through out my body that left me feeling dazed and excited.

Theresa: (Duo) We're really going to Disneyland?

How I want to just hold her make her my!

Duo: My slave!

"Let go." She said.

Theresa: (Misako) You're giving me cooties.

It took me a while before I realized that she had spoken.

Duo: A little slow on the uptake, are we?
Theresa: Yes, you are.
Duo:...wait a minute...

The way her breath brushed across my face made

Theresa: me want to find some toothpaste and make her brush her teeth.

my whole body tingle. Not trusting my voice at the moment, I shook my head, telling her no.

Duo: No, I will not go out with you!

"Let…go." She demanded again in a dangerous tone.

Theresa: (Duo) No way. My teddy bear!

"No. Not until you listen to what I have to say." I said, tightening my grip on her waist.

Duo: Before she could notice that I'd somehow also grabbed her waist.

Getting no objection from the girl, I continued.

Theresa: To slowly kill her?

"Now listen, you are not a killer, nor are you a murderer.

Duo: You're worse! You're a 'Suuuuee!

You are a soldier.

Theresa: Albiet a very stupid one.

We are all soldiers. We kill and destroy only because that's the only way that we know how to stop this war.

Duo: Because talking about it over a nice cup of tea won't solve squat.

You have a heart and a soul just like anybody else.

Theresa: Or you would, were you not a robot.

People…I, would befriend you if you only gave it a chance!"

Duo: (Misako) I'd befrend you if only you knew how to speak English properly.

"And why would you want to befriend me?" She inquired, looking into my eyes as if searching for something.

Theresa: She'd lost her cell phone earlier.

"Because I love you." I admitted without thinking.

Duo: I mean, I love your cooking. Now get back to the kitchen and make me some steak, woman!

Preparing myself for any reaction that Misako might throw at my way.

Theresa: it would probably be slimey and green.

There I said it. But she merely stared at me as expressionless as before, showing neither shock or bewilderment.

Duo: Or love, or hate, or lust, or glee, or happiness, or sadness, or anxiety, or...

Then a smirk on her face, and she said mockingly.

"You don't love me." She said without emotion, pulling away from my grasp on her wrist. "You can't love me. No one can love someone like me."

Theresa: Aww, she's doing our job for us!

"Because I love you."

My heart skipped a beat at the words that came out of his mouth.

Duo: Eww, he's got words coming out of his mouth! They're longer than two syllables!

He loves me? I questioned myself while keeping my mask of stone.

Theresa: Despite its heavyness...
Duo: You know, it being stone and all...

Does he really loves me? Maybe he does, maybe he…

Duo: Maybe he's lying!

NO! NO! He doesn't! A small voice in my head argued.

Theresa: That would be me.

No one can love you. No one! No one can love a

Duo: Sue.

murder. He's lying! He's just like so many others in you life that claims they love you and then leaves you.

Theresa: Your dad said he loved you, and look what he did! He went and died!

He just wants to break your already shattered heart!

Duo: And grind it into the ground with the heel of my boot.

That's right! He's just like any others that would eventually break my heart.

Theresa: Your heart of ice.

I won't let that happen again. Never ever again!

Duo: Because she's had such a long string of broken hearts in her short fifteen years.

With that in mind, I let a smirk to appear on my face and said in a mocking tone, "You don't love me. You can't love me. No one can love some one like me."

Theresa: Were truer words ever spoken?

"You don't love me. You can't love me. No one can love some one like me."

Duo: Because you're a 'Sue.

I couldn't believe my ears.

Theresa: These sudden, inexplicable POV changes are making me kind of nauseous.

I felt like my heart had just broken into pieces.

Duo: And then ground into the dust beneath the heel of her shoe. Oh the angst.

I have opened my heart to her,

Theresa: confessing your undying devotion and passion for her.

and she had just crushed it using a few words. I'm not going to give up.

Duo: That's the spirit!

I know she feels something for me,

Theresa: Irritation.

I'm not going to give up!

Duo: You can do it!

"But I do Misako!" I yelled unbelievably. "I have loved you even since I first saw you.

Theresa: Uh...huh....

What do I have to do to prove to you that what I said is true?!"

Duo: (Misako) Fifteen jumping jacks and seventeen lunges.

"Show me." She said.

Theresa: (Misako) Show me your-
Duo: (whaps Theresa into silence)

Without knowing what I was doing, I grabbed her waist, pulled her against my chest, and

Duo: Swiftly broke her neck.

kissed her gently with all the held up passion and love that I have had for her so long.

Theresa: All those months that we never even saw...

I felt her tense at first, but slowly relaxed, and started to kiss me back.

Duo: She's just a lustful, angsty little she-devil, isn't she?

At that instant, everything around me seemed to disappear.

Duo: Because I knew I was doomed for all of eternity.

There was only Misako and I. The gentle kiss sent currents of electricity down my spine.

Theresa: Proof that she's really a robot!

It isn't like anything that I have ever experienced before.

Duo: You know, not having a whole lot of opportunity to kiss people and all.

My body felt like it was on fire, it seems like a mind of it's own, and I have no contorl over it.

Theresa: I have no "contorl" over my stomach. Excuse me while I puke all over the floor.

My mind had gone into a jumble of confusing thoughts. I couldn't think stright even if I wanted to.

Duo: Somebody just kill me now and put me out of my misery.

"Show me." I said, but instantly regretted saying such a thing.

Theresa: He was unzipping his fly even as-
Duo: (whaps Theresa again)

I was about to turn around and leave, when I found two strong arms around my waist, pulling me close to Duo,

Duo: Ooh, creepy, disembodied arms.

then the next thing I know is that his lips were resting on mine, brushing them with a feathery touch.

Theresa: (Misako) Stop it, that tickles.

I tensed. I had never in my mind expected him to do that.

Duo: (Misako) I had really expected him to spit on my shoes and run away laughing.

Hell, I didn't even believe him when he said he loved me.

Theresa: (Misako) The voices in my head told me so.

But now he's kissing me. And before I knew it, I had closed my eyes in pleasure, a soft moan escaping my lips as I savored the simple act of passion.

Duo: Passion! Passion, not love! Proof!

All words and thoughts has melted away.

Theresa: Burned away by the firey heat of lust.

His lips felt so soft against my, it's means demanding, yet very gentle.

Duo: (squinting) Riiight...

My body fited perfectly against his, as if it were mean to be, and in a way, I felt that it is.

Theresa: That's because your body's mostly soft mushy girl parts, silly girl.

I had begin to deepen the kiss when I stopped myself.

Theresa: (Misako) It's too early for any of that French stuff.

No, this isn't right. He'll just get hurt because of me.

Duo: I'm already hurt because of you, you wench.

I hated to break the kiss, but my mind is right, Duo will just get hurt because of me.

Theresa: (Misako) Oh, woe is me, I'm such a wonderful, self-sacrificing girl!

I know this will be difficult, but it'll be better than having him in a coffin.

Both: Ewww...
Duo: (whaps Theresa for no apparent reason)
Theresa: (Indignant) You thought it too!

Reluctantly, I pulled away from the kiss, my lips red and swollen,

Duo: I guess I bit her.

my chest heaving up and down.

Theresa: And I guess you suffocated her as well. Good work.

I started to pull away from his embrace, but he refused to let go. I pulled away again, more firmly this time.

Duo: (Misako) I told him I hated him, more firmly this time.

Stepping away from him, I looked into his eyes, and I saw

Theresa: (Misako) Eyes.

hurt and disappointment clearly written in them.

Duo: In messy chicken-scratch.

I felt my heart contract, but kept it to myself.

Theresa: Now is not the time to be discussing legal documents.

I reached up to run my index finger down the side of his face and along his jaw, trying to memorize his every detail.

Duo: (Misako) For I was getting ready to perform ritual seppuku, and would never see his face again.

He closed his eyes against my hand, catching it in his hand, he turned it over and lightly kissed the inside.

Theresa: (Duo) That was a secret Shinobi curse. You are now doomed to die a slow, agonizing death.

That simple act alone, succeed in producing another wave of pleasure through out my body.

Duo: Read: Lust.

I fight the urge to go back into his arms and never let go, but I can't.

Theresa: (Misako) I haven't angsted enough yet.

Removing my hand, I smiled up at him apologetically, and I know he got my message.

Duo: What message?

Then I turned and walked away. Away from my feelings, away from the one I love, away from Duo's love, without looking back.

Theresa: Good riddiance.

I felt Misako pulling away from the kiss and that made me tighten my hold, I don't ever want to let go. I had just found my love;

Duo: Chocolate chunk ice cream!

I don't ever want to lose it. However, she's very persistent and had managed to pull away at the end.

Duo: She took my ice cream...

I tried to put my joker's mask back on, but failed miserably.

Theresa: It was just too big.

I watched as she stepped back a little away from me, I wanted to reach out and draw her close again, but stopped myself.

Duo: It was better this way.

I merely watched as she ran

Theresa: Away.

her index finger against the side of my face and along my jaw as if memorizing the detail of my face.

Duo: I guess she plans to die.

I closed my eyes at the gentle touch of her hand against my face, catching it in my hand and turned to kiss it.

Duo: And, as was said before, implant my irriversable secret Shinobi curse!

How I wish we could stay like this forever, but I know it's not possible.

Theresa: (Duo) She has a war to fight, I have a war to fight...it'll never work out.

Then she removed her hand and gave me an apologetic smile and turned to walk away.

Duo: And she fell and somehow killed herself. The end.

Duo watched as Misako walked away, and gave a heavy sigh and walked away in the other direction.

Theresa: My eyes are turning in many different directions thanks to these un-announced POV changes.

Turning around once more, Duo asked the girl's retreating form. "When are you going to stop running away from your emotions, Misako?" Then continued to walk away.

Duo: Oh, I don't know if I can take much more of this angst.

Tsuzuku.....................

Duo: I really wish she'd stop saying that.

My standard disclaimers: We all know this, so I'm not even to going to borther with it. Please review.

Theresa: Gundam Wing is Property of Yadate-sensei! Not yours! Not now, not ever! Say it! (makes clawing motions at the screen)
Duo: Calm down, Theresa. It's not worth it.
Theresa: (Sighing) I know, but it makes me mad when they can't even bother to write a proper disclaimer...not that the fic really needs a disclaimer, but still, the sentiment would be nice...
Duo: There there...hey, we've reached the bottom! I do hope there's no more left?
Theresa: Just two more chapters, I think. We're nearly done, in any case.
Duo: Shall we continue?
Theresa: We've come this far, it'd be a shame not to.
Duo: Right! Onward!
