About Us
Kiwi True Blues is a New Zealand Based supporters club for fans of the mighty Glasgow Rangers. Kiwi True Blues was founded in Hamilton by our president Gus McLeod in early 2001. The club has seen some quiet times but behind the scenes Gus and others were working on continued growth which has now seen members join from as far as Dunedin to Auckland. Kiwi True Blues is also a member of O.R.S.A. (Oceania Rangers Supporters Association), which keeps us in contact with other Rangers supporters clubs on this side of the globe.
We hope that through this website and membership to the club that fellow Rangers fans living in New Zealand will enjoy the camaraderie that supporting Rangers brings, we are happy to put supporters in contact with others in their area if need be. We also hope to bring regular updates, news items (both with Rangers and within the club) and with membership the opportunity to loan videos from our video library which will include any live games shown in Scotland.
As our local viewing (Sky TV) no longer shows any live football from Scotland we see ourselves spending more time socialising either watching videos of the games sent from home or listening to live broadcasts on the internet. Needless to say on the cup final night and into the next day a good time was had by all!
