Dominique was a dalmatian/english setter mix that came to us as a rescue on May 11, 2001. Little did we know that she would only be with us for a short 9 days. In those 9 days she was so full of life and happiness that you couldn't help but feel it radiating off of her.

Sadly she died on May 20, 2001 from choking. She swallowed a piece of food and it got stuck in the trachea. We tried everything to get it out with no success. AARF sponsored a pet first aid class in Dominique's memory and of course we attended. She quickly entered our hearts only to leave it broken in a short time. We will never ever forget her. She is presently buried on historical property.
