In January of 2003, when we left AARF, we started taking in what dogs we had room for that were owner turn ins to our adoption stand. We can't help out much in this aspect due to the Humane Society fosters and the Mid-Atlantic Samoyed fosters, but we help out when and where we can. Below are the ones we have helped by either fostering ourselves or quarantining for a purebred rescue.

In January 2003, we got Ada. We are fostering her on our own and will place her ourselves. She came from an abuse situation where she was going to be bred for drug money. She's a German Shepherd mix that was born in July of 2002. As you can tell she's at least 75% GSD. Ada went to her new home on December 13, 2003.

Rascal is a 10 week old Am. Staffordshire terrier that we got in on February 23, 2003. He was found as a stray at a local high school. We are quarantining him for 4 pits sake rescue. Once the quarantine period is over they will take possesion of him.

Gunner is a 7 month Boxer mix that was turned into our stand on March 2, 2003. He was found as a stray near a local motel. Gunner was placed in a home that already had a playmate for him on April 2, 2004.

Shelby (on left) and Sheba (on right) were part of a litter that were handed out at a flea market. These two weren't handed out so the irresponsible owner just left them at the flea market to survive on their own. They found us thru a co-worker and came to our house on September 15, 2003. Both got placed within a couple weeks of each other in July, 2006.

Cole is a male lab pup that came to us on November 10th, 2003. He was dropped off in front of a local business to survive on his own.

Brandie came to us from a car repair shop where she was chained up and neglected on December 30, 2003. Hopefully the new year will bring her much luck.
