Barn Swallow

This is a handsome swallow with a forked tail.  Its fast flight is usually accompanied by noisy chirping.  They build cup nests under overhangs on building walls and other vertical structures or on ledges using mud mixed with their own saliva.  In good weather, they have as many as three clutches a year.  Their range extends all the way to the Yukon Territory.
