Kappa Kappa Psi - Beta Delta ChapterThe Progressive Bandmaster's Association existed solely to promote the welfare and recognition of the Bearkat Band and the future bandmasters being trained in it, and to advance the appreciation of good music in the student body and faculty of Sam Houston State Teachers' College. On May 15, 1948, the Progressive Bandmaster's Association was granted a charter in Kappa Kappa Psi. There were 26 charter members and 9 alumni members. |
