The Delta Psi Chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi was founded on April 17, 1966, at Prairie View A & M University. We are apart of the Southwest Districts of Kappa Kappa Psi, and we are located in Prairie View, TX. Besides doing our part in helping the band director, and the band itself, we also help individuals. We stay busy doing our chapter duties and personal work, but we do make time for those band members in need of assistance. We have helped band members through tutorials, private lessons, and just being a good listener when they need someone to talk to or just have comments about the band. We try to keep the band as comfortable as possible, and especially on road trips and pther performances. We like to keep band members involved with each other like a family, by having social events outside of band. These social events let them know that all of their hard work and dedication is appreciated and has its rewards. These events also, keep them encouraged with the long practice hours and many performances. |
